Is a PE Monafilament with a pile height of 0.5 inches along with a monthly "brooming" enough to keep the green rolling "true" and accepting short chip shots for many years? Considering making the investment but want it to be worth it and not have a product that fails after 4-5 years
this may show a problem lots of people have they practice on something that is rolling 11-15 and get to your local course that is rolling 7-9 and you leave everything short.
Does this account for slope? Do they do it on every green? Does the surface have to be perfectly level? Does it take into account the type of grass on the green? The height of the green? The type of ball used? The direction of the grain on the green due to recent mowing?
