This video was hugely helpful. I have the same problem.. The two screws to get it off, I like the jump cut.. because getting that back screw out was a HUGE nightmare. New one on the way..
Thank you i was not quite sure what was happening with this Zuma that was puchased & I came to clean the filter & there was oil on the bottom of air filter housing & they had clamped a 1- 1/2 inch clear tubing at the bottom of air filer housing & i just didn't see that when I purchased it & ofcourse they didn't say anything either anyhow, how can I purchase this fly wheel puller?
that's a 3kj engine also known as a minarelli horizontal. the pump you're using is for a yamaha jog 90cc taiwan version. It is much way better to let your scooter to burn more oil than to let it run lean. but on the other side is that, the leak is not a good sign pf your pumps health.
Nice vid, explains a lot. Do these small oil pumps create "pressure" to push oil through the line into the carburetor, or does the carburetor create some vacuum "pull" the oil through the pump? Ive removed my pump, and I was spinning the gear using a drill, I got very very little oil drippage. Thank you.
same thing happened to my morini 2 stroke. I replaced the oil pump but the oil leaks out still, also check valve is new since it is a new carb. Any ideas why?
Thks bro 4 your exllente video my piaggio zip 2t smoke a little not much coloure blue what you thing piston rings or samething else thks mate apreciate device cheers
since you remove it,change the 2 screw with allen head screw, its much easier to remove once you open it up again..Dont change the whole pump, the only problem with those pump are O-ring in the front, cost here about just a dollar..
Mine just smells like crap bro . I got my two stroke moped from the shop and it came with a plastic exhaust cover. Do you reckon that’s why it smells like crap when it’s running ? I’m new to mopeds and motorbikes so I don’t know much. And also it smokes out of the exhaust when idling
Best I found was to set the cable tension with the engine running. At idle the cam should sit on the stop, tighten the cable to lift the cam off the stop just as rpms start to climb when twisting the throttle. I. E the stop is set at idle, pump starts opening at throttle opening
Same here I dont think I'd leave it open since could probly cause an air leak so I'm gonna remove it and throw some jb weld or putty and let it cure so then I know it's not gonna leak DONE ✅

Incredible how many things you have to unscrew to have the access to oil pomp :/

try to replace your pump to a autolube or 50cc version rather than a 90cc taiwan version that pumps oil according to the cables opening.
or prior to that, just empty your 2t tank and disconnect your hose and just mix 25ml of 2T and 1L of gas ratio.
I have same problem visited mechanic but problem was not solved but these is nice informative video
HOW. DO I PRIME AAN OIL PUMP ON A KYMCO 50CC ?? RETIRED LARRY IN.INDIANAPOLIS.....

What kind of bike was it from? Italjet? I have one that has a fm71 head from a formula 50
You edited the part where you remove the two screws holding the oil pump on . Most times they are no that easy to remove .
Exactly
yeah... especially the rear one :) I was trying for an hour but to no avail. I'll leave it for tomorrow...lol

Hey can you send me a link for an oil pump. I got a 2005 yamaha zuma/bws 100

Is it the seal at 4:02??
@@lek2455 yes when u removed that splined pulley you will see the oil cap seal behind it..
I replaced it aswell with an 9.5-16-4 seal works great this far, no more puddle under the scooter.
What flywheel puller set is that?
Hey buddy how did you bleed your new oil pump

All this needs to be replaced to replace the oil pump. Is not it enough to release two screws and take the pump straight out?
Yah, good luck with that.
What is the thing called on the left hand side that the throttle line hooked up to not the carb but the other thing
Why isn’t there any info on set up of oil pump? Is it with or without marks to align at a certain throttle position?

Where does the smaller line go? the little tube on the top part of the oil pump? is it a breather tube that just hangs off to suck in air?
going to the carburetor
and this is why i only run premix on my 1E40QMB i dont trust any 2 stroke oil pump as had one fail on my old tzr 125
Can i replace the 2t motor with a gy6?
All this guy videos just like somebody running after him all his videos less than 2 min all. I never understand any help from him.
Hello please I want to know the oil kind of yamah scooter 50 cc mixing engine
Do you mean 2 stroke
scooty streek white smoke how adjesemetn?
Yeah just remove the whole thing and mix directly in fuel and you will never have to worry about the oil pump :)
Jokot when you remove the whole oil pump do you have to plug it or can you just take the oil pumps gear out?
@@nastynatesscooters9896 wondering the same I brought a project and it isn’t there and wondering the same thing

I like your idea!!!
The problem with that idea is some motors use the oil pump to lube the bearings too. If you remove it the engine will fail.
Also known as a Minarelli horizontal.
Нечего не понял.
nice vino btw :)
