Make sure to subscribe to the channel to keep up with THE TOUR. Thanks for all the messages, trust in the process my friends. It takes more than a couple weeks to get back into tournament shape
Ben, I watched two of your videos and it is very entertaining for me, but it also breaks my hart to see how you struggle. I have a few friends who were in a similar position from a golf career point of view. It is hard to build the confidence that persists during the tournaments. Your attitude is great, but you start to think negative if a second bad luck situation occurs. Its almost as you are waiting for it again. Visualize the positive part to keep a positive attitude. As you concluded yourself, without hitting the fairways a good score is difficult. There is not enough data, but what I see, is that you block on the left heel and your right hand/arm is dominating over the top. Remedy: keep the left shoulder higher at address, head behind(=to the right of the vertical) and maintain the left shoulder higher at impact to exit the release. The week left side is typical for players when in defense mode. The right side is the hitting (aggressive) part and all the energy is there as the weaker part is lacking confidence in the process. I wish you all the best.
You should do the pause drill. I see a lot of inconsistent shots. This has helped me become a great ball striker as well. Tiger woods when he was younger he did it and it is such a great drill. I hope this helps.
Have the hands line up perfectly with the back of the ball consistently at the moment of impact, and we'll see you in the next US Open. If the hands are behind the ball at impact, they encourage hooks and pulls. If the hands are in front of the ball at impact, they encourage pushes and slices. This is for the driver. Hand position at impact needs to be exact at impact for straight down the middle of the fairway drives. Carry a 4-wood that allows much more freedom in hand positions, and swing variations.
Do the best you can. Pressure to qualify is huge. Just try to relax and play your game. It will work out. Don't let the miss hits get in your head. Doing great sir.
The great shots between bad shots, the speed control on long putts, the mental resolve to stay in the tournament when you know you’re out….you’re right there, man. I love the direction this channel is taking and I’m certain you’re going to get hot in one of these upcoming rounds. Keep grinding, it’s only a matter of time.
First, flat out, THE best content you’ve put out to date. Second, I think as much as you’re grinding for a feel, you just need confidence and experience to trust your game. In other videos, when you’re not playing in a USGA Sectional, you hit ALL OF THE SHOTS. Your game is very much between your ears at the moment. I am very excited to be along for the ride.
I’m absolutely loving the content Ben. We are here for the long haul, ups and downs it doesn’t matter! We just enjoy watching your behind the scenes access you give us. That said, I feel like the best is approaching!
Still with you Ben. Sometimes, something amazing is just around the corner. My person mantra is “belief, discipline, patience” if you use those like a circle, letting them build on each other, you can achieve anything. Keep pressing.
You go at everything 150%. I take it your 2-iron is the fairway finder, but you still go at it 150% and have the same miss as the driver. Unless the holes are extremely long I'd like to see you just hitting some 90-100% swings with that 2-iron. Some low stingers to keep them in play and running down the fairway. Off the tee is the only thing inflating these scores right now. Best of luck in your next tournaments. 😎
Glad I caught this episode. I love that your positive attitude shines when talking about next steps, what to do going forward, what can be adjusted and how to view the negatives as potentials! Will keep watching and supporting.
I feel for you bud. I've been here with the game trying to compete in the us open qualifier, but missing fairways makes it an insurmountable obstacle for sure. Keep grinding
Watching you grind is crazy, so many people don't understand the battle to qualify for something like this, not alone the mental but the cost to qualify can be crazy too. Good luck man!
man, that course in those windy conditions looked brutal.. bad day not to have the driver working.. way to grind it out though, impressive grit.. really enjoying these videos, good luck in the next one!
Honestly nothing is better than when Mr. Ben Hadden uploads a video. Loved the video Ben! The work you put into the game is inspiring. Have a feeling that everything is going to click
Loved the attitude throughout. You have the skill needed. I believe that. It's just fine tuning. If it was easy everybody would be doing it. Looking forward to the next one.
So relatable. Playing in old guy amateur stuff, it's just different swinging when it counts for something versus fun rounds with friends. Up until this year I was hitting driver like you did. Always in the rough, hacking it out. Hard to make par from there. But you can get it back. Just takes work.
Keep it going Ben!! You'll get there one day and looking real soon! Mentally is impeccable and nice seeing even a UA-camr being human sometimes! Back on the grind, you got it!!👊🏼
Way to keep grinding it out brother. The course conditions looked brutal. Stay positive. At the end of the day its golf. I mean shoot even look at Nelly Korda firing an opening round 80 in the US Open. The game comes and goes for everyone. You will be back and better!
Played a charity tournament scramble yesterday. Hit 6 drives on the practice range every one straight. Get on the course hit one straight drive all day. I feel this.
As I high handicap player myself I often miss with the dreaded pull, you hit the ball a mile, but you often strike the ball with the club face to shut. I think you will get it all figured out and start playing better, it is nice to see someone playing some of the same courses I play since I live in Northwest Arkansas..
Man, I really feel for you right now Ben. Takes a big man to post and own what you just did. I really want to see you succeed and hope you figure out your FIR and putting. It’s probably the camera angle but to me it looked like you were aiming left on your tee shots. Anyway, always press!
Ben, start learning to make adjustments mid round and you'll start hitting more fairways, and knocking ball closer to the pin. If your drawing on multiple teeboxes in a row, open the club face a little. If your hitting it short on every pin, take an extra club out, instead of 8 hit a 7. Make adjustments and you'll score better
Your attack angle has to be around -7 degrees to hit it left so far. Try moving the ball up in your stance to get your attack angle back near zero or +1. I was doing the same a few months ago, moved it further up in my stance got it back to +1 and couldn't miss a fairway.
I’m no expert but I’d see a coach, the amount of strokes lost of the tee can’t be recovered even with how good your short game is right now. What I’ve noticed is your tempo is different between your good and bad shots. I’m rooting for you Ben and wish you the best.
I think Ben has a great game after the drives. Hacking continually out of the rough would even wear Tiger and Phil down, affecting their ability to putt. Although I think Ben putted just fine under the circumstances. Ben's drives off the tee will come around.
You will get the driver figured out. You win or you learn. That’s the best club in your bag. You just need to believe that and take confidence into the course.
I think basic course management decisions would've saved you plenty of shots. How many times did you go from rough to rough? A player of your level should NEVER do that. There's nothing wrong with chipping out onto the fairway even if it leaves you far back. Wouldn't you rather be on the short grass where you can control your ball than in the rough where you have no idea where it's going? Thanks for sharing your journey with us Ben. Hopefully you'll get that driver dialed in. Pulling for you man.
Keep at it Ben! You're a good golfer and you can do what you know that you can do! You got to drive you've got the shot so you just had a rough round. But that's okay we all have that. Keep grinding, stay focused, stay humble and it'll all come together man. Best of luck to you bro💯
Don’t love the negativity especially towards your luck and situation after every shot. Golf is really hard and you will get good and bad breaks but staying positive and focusing on what you can control is the only way not to go crazy. The narrative writes itself when you complain about your game. Have fun playing golf, love the course and trust your game to be good enough and you will start playing good golf
Appreciate you watching. I gotta say man I’ve been pretty proud of my mental approach lately. Being strong mentally doesn’t mean ignoring when things go badly. in my opinion strong mental players acknowledge their situation and then work from where they are. Mentally weaker players might ignore a bad lie instead of making adjustments to accommodate.
Watch tour players, they do the same thing, most everyone gets angry and it’s normal. Especially people who are good at the game because they are very capable of playing solid. I think the anger is valid, doesn’t mean he is giving up, it’s more fuel than anything.
I know u might be disappointed Ben but it’s obvious ur right there keep pressing. Also it’s insane how hard even the camera this course makes out to be
Love the content, and seeing you compete. Just my two cents, but with your massive clubhead speed, I don't think you should be playing hold off cuts with your driver. Way too easy to double cross and blow it way left and it's a hot ball. You have a beautiful and athletic draw swing, and need to fully release a high draw swinging a bit from the inside... similar to McIlroy. You make your driver a real weapon, you'll play at the highest level.

Keep grinding Ben! I believe in you and am excited to watch you excel in this journey!
That you had the guts to post your less than stellar golf speaks volumes. Keep up the grind, you'll get your game back.
I’m absolutely loving the content Ben. We are here for the long haul, ups and downs it doesn’t matter! We just enjoy watching your behind the scenes access you give us.
That said, I feel like the best is approaching!
I was you 40 years ago. Small college golfer trying to move up. Keep your head up. You have a great game.
Thanks for walking us through the grind. Always press.
Just got your hat in the mail today! The hand written note was much appreciated thank you Ben, Keep on pressing!
You have a great mindset! Sharing the good and the bad shots, shows the mental fortitude you need to stay in a round. Cheers SS
Still with you Ben. Sometimes, something amazing is just around the corner. My person mantra is “belief, discipline, patience” if you use those like a circle, letting them build on each other, you can achieve anything. Keep pressing.
super relatable for anyone who’s grinding at something. Im certainly here for it. thanks for documenting it for us.

keep grinding ben. I can't wait to see you on those tours soon.
Keep grinding man. Good things happen to those who put in the work.
Watching you grind is crazy, so many people don't understand the battle to qualify for something like this, not alone the mental but the cost to qualify can be crazy too. Good luck man!

I’m rooting for you. I first saw you on GG and have been a fan since. I wish you success
Keep your head up Ben!!!
Tough round. You are right there. Keep it up
Loved the attitude throughout. You have the skill needed. I believe that. It's just fine tuning. If it was easy everybody would be doing it. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you man! I gotta be honest I felt pretty good about my attitude given everything so I appreciate you saying that
Keep killing it Ben, that grinds paying off for you
You got the game now it’s time to control the mind and you got this. Lfg !!!
So relatable. Playing in old guy amateur stuff, it's just different swinging when it counts for something versus fun rounds with friends. Up until this year I was hitting driver like you did. Always in the rough, hacking it out. Hard to make par from there. But you can get it back. Just takes work.

Back on the grind, you got it!!👊🏼
I love watching and playing tournament golf. Such good content
Just keep grinding man! You have the game, just gotta find it.
Keep grinding Ben! Btw, loved the format of this video.
You are one of my favorites mare. Keep focused and grinding. I have no doubt you will get there
Way to keep grinding it out brother. The course conditions looked brutal. Stay positive. At the end of the day its golf. I mean shoot even look at Nelly Korda firing an opening round 80 in the US Open. The game comes and goes for everyone. You will be back and better!
Dude. These videos have been ELITE. Keep grinding and inspiring bro
Don’t let it get to ya Ben. “Keep pressing” you are well equipped to do this.
Played a charity tournament scramble yesterday. Hit 6 drives on the practice range every one straight. Get on the course hit one straight drive all day. I feel this.
Really appreciate this content Ben. Keep grinding

You got this B! Keep on pressing
Ouch Ben. Even with your miss hits you still hitting some pure shots. Chin up bud and keep aiming high

Have had 2 qualifiers now, missed both by 2 strokes over large numbers. Golf rocks
Loving the content Ben. Keep grinding
Keep at it ben,its in there ❤
Hang tough, things will get better
Left hand low drill, focus on clearing the hips and neutralizing the face through impact. Less left of left shots.
Let's freaking go 🏌️
First 🤝
I loved the video she is so cool ! And wish you the best for next tournament ! And I love the time of the video she is note too long perfect ! 🤩
This is a great format! 😊
Rootin for you bro.
Come Ben just relax and think positively Ben keep smiling Ben
Welcome too the grind . . .

I NEED that putter cover!
Always press!!
Always press 🔥

Sorry to hear that you didn’t play your A game Ben. Keep pressing. You will get there.
Absolute stud
Keep grinding my guy
This was great content
You got this Ben, its timmmmmmmee to smash this . . . and prove them ALL WRONG . . .
I’m no expert but I’d see a coach, the amount of strokes lost of the tee can’t be recovered even with how good your short game is right now. What I’ve noticed is your tempo is different between your good and bad shots. I’m rooting for you Ben and wish you the best.
Would love to see a collab with Micah. Two solid golfers that are similar level and hopefully could sharpen each others ability
I am not any where near your level of golf, but we have all been there. Golf is hard. Hang in there Ben.
Those greens looked slick 👀
Takes a lot of guts to post vids like this. Keep grinding
Felt like you aimed left a lot on tee shots. If left was your miss aim 15 feet right and hit same swing 👍🏻 wishing you the best
Step one to qualifying: don’t hit it in the left gunk on every hole.
Sound like Micah over here. Clearly not cut out for it 😂
😭😭 fr
You sir will win on the pga tour.
GL dude
I think Ben has a great game after the drives. Hacking continually out of the rough would even wear Tiger and Phil down, affecting their ability to putt. Although I think Ben putted just fine under the circumstances. Ben's drives off the tee will come around.
ngl saying Ben can do something tiger and Phil can’t is actually insanity
That course looks brutal lol
278 4i...I would be happy to get that with driver off the tee
Nice editing
You will get the driver figured out. You win or you learn. That’s the best club in your bag. You just need to believe that and take confidence into the course.
Keep grindin bro
Also been if you keep duck hooking it and over drawing it, you might want to go with a stiffer shaft. Just make adjustments and your game will improve
To me you have a great swing, sometimes it seems like you are sliding too far forward in your downswing, when I'm missing left that's what I'm doing
The worst thing for me is when my shot just starts going left and I can't figure it out......Keep up the grind man.
US Open qualifying is always a pressure cooker.
sick, I have a lot of family in Holton. Not sure if you know the Price family
you need more stiff shaft like double x or something, your head vibration makes unstable ball flight..
I know it was accidental since the mic died, but I actually liked the switch over to hindsight video commentary instead of in round commentary.
I honestly can’t believe you recorded this. I mean I’m glad you did and I love to watch and support but it seems you may play better without the noise
what kind of driver head cover do you have?
that was a sick intro
I played Firekeeper on like a Tuesday last Summer and that 11th hole was backed up like crazy. What is it about that hole?
I think basic course management decisions would've saved you plenty of shots. How many times did you go from rough to rough? A player of your level should NEVER do that. There's nothing wrong with chipping out onto the fairway even if it leaves you far back. Wouldn't you rather be on the short grass where you can control your ball than in the rough where you have no idea where it's going? Thanks for sharing your journey with us Ben. Kansas Wesleyan on the putter headcover? 👀

I love this Ben. True professional. Keep grinding and you’ll make it. Hard work shows.🏆
Watch tour players, they do the same thing, most everyone gets angry and it’s normal. Especially people who are good at the game because they are very capable of playing solid. I think the anger is valid, doesn’t mean he is giving up, it’s more fuel than anything.
Ben, aim left my man! You’re hitting stupid long tight draws, but you’re lining up for a cut every tee ball lol
I know u might be disappointed Ben but it’s obvious ur right there keep pressing. Also it’s insane how hard even the camera this course makes out to be
got to have a go to shot when you do not feel comfortable. a fade with the driver would have been very helpful here
This is the 18 hole qualifier, if you advance there is a 36 hole qualifier
Love the content, and seeing you compete. Just my two cents, but with your massive clubhead speed, I don't think you should be playing hold off cuts with your driver. Or just swing 75-80% n keep it in the short stuff
Does anyone know what brand golf shoes Ben wears?
Cuater, they don’t make them anymore
