Super Informative man, I've been seeing a lot of your videos trying to get an idea of what I want to do on my S4 b6 nagaro cabriolet. You have been super detailed on your S4 build. Thank you
Thanks you for watching. Happy to hear that they have been helpful. As much i would like for the videos to be short but sometimes i personally think it's best to explain which tends to make these videos a little bit longer. At first i tried to be in the 12-14 minute range but lately the last few of videos have gone over that range 😅. Also don't hesitate to ask questions either, happy to help out
@mark_b6s4 Thanks, man. I'll for sure hit you up later on my build for some helpful tips.
@@freddyhaza1377 sounds good
You rock. Keep the Awesome content coming brother.
Thanks!
Question do you need a check valve also to hold the fuel because with out the check valve the fuel will not make the car start up instantly but with the check valve it does
i see what you mean. i don't have one installed. the first initial prime will take a few times, but after that, it starts right up every time. i have not had any issues with fuel getting to the injectors
Great video man. Did you need a tune after installing this?
Thank you. This is like a yes/not really answer. With sending more fuel to the injectors more fuel will go into the cylinders which will make it run a little rich. The injectors will still open/shut only difference is during that time the injectors are open more fuel will pass due to the stronger fuel pump. By retuning it the tune will change the time the injectors open/shut to get your air fuel ratio better. If you don't retune it'll still be ok just run a lil rich. But if you are still on the stock injectors there really is no reason to get a stronger fuel pump. Even at 500cc injectors the OEM fuel pump is still good. It's when you go up to 1000cc (which i have) then a stronger fuel pump is needed. This is ideally for boost applications. For N/A this walbro is over kill and really isn't needed. Hope this makes sense. Good question!
I will be running the walbro e85 450 pump in my a4 1.8t. I will be running 550cc injectors eventually. And just trying to prioritize the parts and when I install them becauseI'd like to drive the car in mean time. Thanks for the help
@@ZULUOPERATIONS1 if you are going big turbo route with your 1.8t then yes a stronger fuel pump will be needed. You can make big power with a 1.8t!
Hey bro how has this setup held up? I'm wondering if I can use the stock wiring for my AEM 340 on my B6 A4 or if I should run it to the battery.
I have been running this pump on stock wiring and no issues at all
Hello, is there alternative to that adapter, it is too expensive, costs same as pump? Also are there issues when driving on track, with a lot of g forces, so swirl pot is needed?
That's the only adapter I am aware about. I don't know if the OEM adapter can be used but don't know. If one was to 3d print it i don't know how the material will do with gasoline or e85 fuels. I haven't had any issues at all with the pump. And also i really don't drive the car on close to empty
Did you have some issue with angle of the fuel lines? Mechanic says it bends too much. Trying to make it fit. Stock is 90 degrees and here line goes straight up.
You are absolutely right that with the walbro it's orientation is up. With it being that way I haven't noticed any problems. I do have a SC kit on it with 1000cc, also on e85, which requires way more fuel then NA. Its able to deliver the fuel no issues. Any B6/7 that is NA shouldn't be a problem
@@markb6s4 thanks, we will make it work. I am running 630cc with 100ron regular fuel, converted to return fuel line too. 380HP on 1.8T stroker. Walbro450 should be plenty.
@@jutjub22 i did a lil searching around. And Googled "walbro 90 deg connection" and found one company that makes it. Would be something worth looking into. As for you set up you are good for sure with the 450. Tho I am using the ECU to power my fuel pump, and that's still good. But with your set up I would recommend if you haven't already to do a fuel pump relay
@@markb6s4 thanks for the info, mechanic made it fit, he trimmer bottom part of housing, so it fits well now, and bend is not too bad. All seems great, I will see how it runs on the track day. With previous pump I had issue with fuel pressure in hard corners, when fuel tank becomes half empty.
@@jutjub22 please inform how the car does on the track!!!
I recently changed my fuel pump on my b7 audi with a walbro I followed your wiring instructions black being the + on the cap, but somehow my fuel pump fuse on the hood compartment keeps blowing any ideas why bro? Thanks
something that ccomes to mind... is the positive terminal touching anything that may be making contact with any ground? one way to tell if you have a volt meter. touch one end to the positve perminal and the other to the ground. if you get a reading then there is a break in the positive wire that is making contact with ground. here is a link to an older video i made where my positive was making contact with the ground and how to tell.

Mark. Is the connector really needed? Couldn’t you have just spliced it directly?
You are correct. The connector isn't needed. Reason why i didn't do it is my soldering skills is non existent 😅
@@markb6s4 lol it isn’t hard. The fact you have time to work on your S4 with a family is an amazing feat. Love the videos, Mark!
@@aefan thanks, and I do believe soldering is an important thing to learn. Especially with these cars! Haha
Where did you get pig tail from?
I have the link in the discription on the parts
What are the benefits of this in a stock B6 Audi S4?
honestly there are no benefits at all sadly. best to keep the oem fuel pump. I know there have been some that went and upgraded the pump but its mostly over kill
hey mark. is there by chance you have an email becuase i would like to ask you a few question. know that you have your b6 for a while. im 21 and iv had one for about a year now i just have a few questions to ask because the last owner really didnt take care of it. and i woulnd tmind some one giving some advise on the car.?
So you have a Instagram? You can message me there in the PM. @mark_b6s4
