Great range. Hold charge for ultimate range and damage. My "specialty weapon" for bosses use spirit ashe to draw agro while you stay way back with ancient lightening spear doing massive damage.

Mine doesn’t have unlimited range? tried to snipe the bird with it from the mogwyn cliff for the rune farm and it doesn’t reach

This weapons ash of war is basically a delete button. It's so ungodly powerful even on its own but when you buff it up right you can literally just control alt delete whatever enemy you see.

Unrelated, but dual wielding staffs of Loss gives you a 30% damage boost with night sorceries. It makes Night Comet, already the best sorcery, even more insanely good.

something to note, this worked in my testing though i may be wrong. the tear that increases charged damage applys to the AOW is you could try that if damage output is your only goal😊

Bolt of gransax carried me through the dlc. There's water in almost every boss room, or it's raining, or the mobs are just weak to lightning. Paired with the death knights longhaft ax for close quarters and mobility? Chef's kiss
You could use the enhanced charged attack tear for the mix physick, I’m pretty sure it will stack with everything

If ur aiming for damage buffs, theres more to be had from using crown/rots exultation/poison hand
Your builds are becoming actually good👏👏, ikd abt the sword talisman though, its more of à range weapon so I get why it is here but yeah maybe solething else for à normal playthrough, maybe some defense idk depends on how you play. Good build 👍👍

The ritual sword talisman is really situational, i use the carian filigreed crest to cast the aow more
Don’t forget about that -35% damage negation shabiris does (or maybe it’s 20 I don’t remember)
Add golden vow and flame to this and you get another good set of damage buffa
Replace opaline bubble tear with the infinite fp tear, so you don’t have to worry about running out of ashes of war, and you can summon and expensive tank summon like dung eater to tank while you spam lightning
Use charged physic instead of opalime tear for more damage
Instead of the dumpling helm, the new Deathknight set adds a 2% bonus per piece to lightning damage. It says Ancient Dragon cult spells, but that also includes lightning infused weapons.
Wait? How are you sure? There's so many things in the game that add extra damage, but aren't clear what group they are in
You can increase this with rakshasa armor (keep black dumpling head) and replace bubble tear with the 50% damage negation
Black dumpling has to have madness full bar proc not just the bar unfortunately so you have to cast howl twice

Howl of shabriri reduces damage reduction by 30. I think it drops your defense more than commander’s standard increases it. It also doesn’t last for that long and neither does commander’s standard.

replace opaline with the one that enhances charged attacks. at 60 dex im usually pushing 7.5 k. enough to one-shot fireknights in shadowkeep.
That does nothing to the AOW. It only affects actual charged attacks. Whatever youre doing, that definitely isnt helping you. And before you cry and moan and say im wrong, a simple google search proves me right.

That sounds ugly man, but maybe make videos of your build so we can see it, maybe it looks better in a pvp setting

Can you do nagakiba? I’m having a really hard time trying to use this weapon without dual wielding katanas, which I don’t want to do because I’m a faith build and I need a seal in the other hand.
Are you doing the number additively. I'm pretty sure a lot of these buffs stack multiplicatively.
I am just showing what they add to the build. I honestly am not 100% how they effect everything when it comes to min maxing

You mean Smithing Talisman? That has no effect on the AoW.

I think it’s tied with blasphemous blade for the best ash of war in the game
It’s good but certainly not. Good against regular enemies but not so much against bosses necessarily.

@@Fayrinn_09Gransax and Blasphemous I’d say are really really great weapons. They have a bit of a learning curve with timing but other than mastering the timing for there ash of war, I’d agree

Is howl and commander buff really better than golden vow+flame grant me strength+ perfume+meat?
Yes it is, although u will take more damage with howl.
