Welcome, fellow Tarnished, to the ultimate Elden Ring DLC Easy Mode build guide! Are you tired of struggling against formidable foes like Malenia, the Fire Giant, or Mogh? Fear not, for with the Thunder God build, victory is within your grasp! Witness as enemies crumble before the might of the Bolt of Gransax and Ancient Lightning! In this comprehensive guide, we'll break down every aspect of the build, from stats and equipment to talismans and incantations, ensuring your journey through the Lands Between is a breeze.
First up, let's delve into the stats of the Thunder God build. Starting with the Vagabond class, at RL200, our stats are meticulously optimized for maximum effectiveness. With 60 Vigor, 60 Dexterity, and a whopping 80 Faith, we're primed to decimate any adversary that crosses our path.
Now, onto the equipment that makes this build truly legendary. Our main weapon, the Bolt of Gransax +10, coupled with the Gravel Stone Seal +25, forms the cornerstone of our arsenal. The Ancient Lightning Spear skill of the Bolt of Gransax allows us to snipe bosses from a safe distance, while the Gravel Stone Seal enhances our Dragon Cult Incantations by 15%.
Donned in the prestigious Drake Knight Set, we strike a balance between style and defense, ensuring we can maneuver swiftly while shrugging off enemy attacks. And let's not forget our talisman selection, carefully chosen to complement our playstyle. Whether we're focusing on sniping with the Bolt of Gransax or unleashing devastating incantations, we have the perfect talisman combination for every situation.
But what about survivability? Fear not, for our Flask of Wondrous Physic is stocked with Lightning Shrouded Cracked Tear for enhanced lightning attacks, alongside Opaline Bubble Tear or Greenburst Crystal Tear for either damage mitigation or stamina recovery, depending on the circumstances.
Now, let's explore the incantations that make this build truly formidable. From the support incantations like Golden Vow and Howl of Shabriri, boosting our attack power and defense, to the offensive incantations such as Ancient Dragon's Lightning Strike and Frozen Lightning Spear, we have an array of devastating spells at our disposal to crush our enemies with ease.
In combat, the Thunder God build shines brightest. Whether we're sniping with the Bolt of Gransax or combining it with incantations for maximum damage, victory is all but assured. And with quick demonstrations of boss encounters showcasing the sheer power of this build, you'll be eager to embark on your own journey through Elden Ring with newfound confidence.

Nice build I’m definitely gonna use it
Just melts everything!
This is the perfect updated version of the build I was using thanks man!
thanks for the build, it would be cool to see a more indepth guide on this specific build going over early game stuff
Was already using Bolt of Gransax as one of my main builds, this just further improves it😂
Great build thanks alot
Might have to use this one
Let me knowhow you get on!
I love that you threw in Tidus stupid laugh at the beginning xD props
Shall I just put it in every video from now? XD
@@AshenOneGaming yes!
I found using the spiked crack tear with the lightning shrouding cracked tear makes the build even more OP
One of the builds that mostly works in lower NG+ because bolt of gransax deals not enough damage in higher NG+ you can still use the red lightning bolts but put another gravel stone seal in the other hand
U know what I love about these videos? It’s not a dude saying “most op build ever! Look at the damage!!” And then he’s got 1hp, every damage buff possible applied. That’s not anything practical
Great video man! Definitely gonna drop a tear and try it out!! 🥲
Bolt of gransax + ancient dragon incants got me through my first play through nice and easy 👏🏼 been messing with unsheathe naga now
Holly hell as a new player might take some time to get there
Seriously that "My Fellow Tarnished" rocks! (ok ok I will not comment it on all your videos where you say it but if ROCKS!)
Holy Eiglay in Volcano I'm definitely gonna use this
ancient lightning incants: require faith
bolt of gransax: fires ancient lightning bolt, no faith required for the weapon
a great build made by a great guy
An even better comment by an even greater guy!
@@AshenOneGaming thanks
The Bolt convinced me to level DEX/Faith but I ended up sticking with the gargoyle great swords
I’m definitely gonna love that lightning damage I even naked my character thor but don’t I have to get the second one in new game plus
I would appreciate an early game build before getting to this
I searched for this vid after seeing the trailer had a lot of dex weapons and faith spells. But I still can’t decide if I should go full dex or full faith because i want to maximize my damage
Go full dex to maximize physical damage for DLC, keen affinity can always be buffed further but you’ll miss out on physical damage with full faith. Invest enough faith for the spells you like the most and off hand a seal that buffs that damage type. My stats going into dlc are 75 dex with 46 faith.
@@danalways I think I’ll do the same, what seal should I use?
Do a dex build one run then faith build another run.
@@Roger-wp5me solid idea. just wondering which i should play first tho
Mix em
subbed for using tidus laugh
with the power of god and anime on my side I can’t lose
I’m having a hard time deciding what build I want to make I like this one a lot but I don’t really know what I want yet
Here are all my builds to date :)
ua-cam.com/video/ka9GAZcB43w/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AshenOne
This build is very nice man. I Tested it yesterday by myself.
I make a big amount of damage But Not as much as you. Still worth it, thank you.
This is awesome! Do you know if having a bolt of Gransax in the left hand still buffs the bolt in the right hand?
No it doesn’t :)
I have a build like this but I use arcane and a dragon communion seal. My regular lightning bolts are overpowered
Love the sound of this mate
Fire
Can you show me how to start it
Do you know a good stat spread for this build at lvl 130
Would this be good in pvp by chance?
what are the stats for when your level 150? i want to try this build really badly
is there any substitute for gravel stone seal?
How are you hitting 8k on mohg? I have the exact same setup and can’t get past 4K
Basically the build i used
Can you give stats for level 150 next time?
For damage wise i can't go beyond 80 on str/dex/faith aren't i? For both incantation and bolt
Nice build, for the wondrous physic you can also use the spiked cracked tear for enhanced charge attacks for more damage from Blox of Gransax
Apparently this does NOT boost the weapon skill.....
@@AshenOneGaming Huh really? I tested it and thought it did nvm
@@hhowdy i would have thought the same seeing as godfrey icon buffs bolt of gransax
Does this build scales more with dex or faith, cause in my playthrough I have a build of str and faith and I have 40 faith and these incantations don't really do much damage. I'm so confused on what to do with these incantations
faith at 80 shreds
How are you doing that much damage? I have the build to almost identical and im not even hitting 2k damage
i had the same problem i thought it was some youtube magic but you can actually hold down the left trigger or whatever your ash of war button is to charge it and it does more damage
I love this build it is carying me through ng 5 thank you
I’m new to this game I just bought it yesterday what keepsake do you use on it
I always go with a golden seed to get a head start on flasks :)
@@AshenOneGaming Thnks!!
how you do that to fire giant😮
Hey Ashen One I'm lvl 300 so what will I put in the rest of 100 point in?
Spread evenly in the stats upgraded
I rumours are true this build sadly won't work in the DLC because it'll have a Sekiro styled leveling system to prevent overleveled plays from steamrolling through the DLC.
Still a fun build to use nonetheless, thank you
i was trying out the curved scavengers swords bleed buuld and im doing crappy damage at +18 swords with 50 arcane and 40 dex, with a +18 finger seal... ima try this... im at level like 140 or so, what would be the attributes at around that level?
I’m also using a duel curved scav sword build but I’m not really a fan. Back to faith I go!
My stats at 145 following this build are as follows. 50vig 25mind 20endurance 20str 45dex 9int 48faith 7arc
@@dmurdah i found a bleed build to use, if i switch back i do more damage not that i have every max weapon and seal
Wouldn't you start with the class that has the spear to have an even better start?
We always start with what's best for stats to hit 150 and then break to RL200. So, if you rolled Faith and Dex back to hit an overall RL of 150 then Vagabond would be best class :)
why not use dragon communion seal
2:52 is There not a Faith boosting one?
can you do rl150?
Awesome build Ashen one…. Will try this today…. Off topic… but have you or will you ever do a Dark souls 3 op build guide? Just curious as I just got DS3 ?
Hey mate. I doubt it just because it's been out so long. But never say never!
This still work?
How do I get the buff for two seals at the same time?? I didn't understand that part
Just equip a gravel stone seal in your left and right hand
you can only get 1 seal per playthrough so either go into new game or have someone drop you one
How do you allocate your flasks, mostly FP ?
I'd put around 3, 4 at most because you should do enough damage that you don't have to spam much. For trash mobs you can just use the regular melee to avoid spending a bunch of FP.
Does anyone know a good stat spread for 120? I find I get like zero coop at 150 and 200
i tried this with malenia and aint no way im hitting 3k damage lol im lucky if i can hit for 1k on her using plus 10 gransax and plus 10 grave seal
what would be a good stat distribution for this at sl 150?
Wondering this too!
I've been using a variation of this build for a while now, currently level 156 in NG+1, my stat distribution is as follows:
Vigor: 45
Mind: 31
Endurance: 27
Strength: 22
Dexterity: 43
Intelligence: 9
Faith: 50
Arcane: 8
Depending on the weapons you'll be using, you may want to reallocate some more points to Faith or Dex to boost your damage a little more. My damage output is high while still allowing a lot of flexibility/playstyles with a variety of weapons I use: bolt of gransax, black knife, great scythe, gravel stone seal, antspur rapier and longbow
I have also experimented with the following weapons with great results: Dragon King's cragblade, Godslayer's greatsword, Golden Order Greatsword
tysm u helped alot@@LightBaka
Why restrict yourself to 150? 175-200 is the sweet spot for most end game fun
@@eligreg99because co op and pvp are fun
This is a great build! Can you do Blasphemous Blade next please? (:
Yep there's one in the pipeline about constantly healing with it. Watch this space!
Dude i need a mod for tidus laugh in game
If it isn't in the DLC I will be very upset ha!
What should be the stats for level 150 for this build?
Probably like 50/50 Dex & Faith and the rest is up to you.
What's the level 150 stat equivalent to this?
58 vigor 50 dex 50 faith 18 str 18 end 19 mind 9 int 7 arc / for vagabond.
they’ve said there making it so we won’t be able to one shot or do ungodly amounts of damage in the dlc so let’s hope this build stays broken for those people who are gunna really struggle🤣
lvl 50 status?
Are all the clips from NG+? because if its NG1 (which i am assuming) it will be pretty misleading on your viewers, since they will do half maybe even less the dmg shown in the video on their own gameplay
That’s every build though?
The seal dosnt effect the bolt of gransax though
No it affects the incantations ☺️
Elden Ring DLC has a new power system that could make this build ineffective
We'll see!
Care to elaborate? Because we don't know a whole lot other than what Miyazaki said in the letter he wrote talking about the DLC, and he didn't really explain how the new power scaling would cause builds to be ineffective.
@@SuspiciouslyMissingSock he said he wanted the player to feel the difficulty one again keeping in mind that the character builds would be close to endgame. This was mentioned in the interview. So it's very likely that the power scaling is meant to switch up the difficulty.
What would be a good level 150 build for this
Take 30 out of faith and 10 out of Dex and Vig
This build doesnt do much damage on radagon on ng+4 or 5
I tried the build but im not doing nearly enough of the damage he is doing im also using all of the stats he is using and im using the talismans and everything else
hold the button
Does that ash of war count as a jump attack?
I don't think it does? You thinking Raptors feathers?
@@AshenOneGamingyou ever found out if it did
Do you have the stats for level 50?
you can’t rlly use this build at lvl 50
@@vohrr im level 250 now 0_0
Fire build
That what you wana see next?
@@AshenOneGamingyes
Dumb question, if you're at 80 faith wouldn't the erdtree seal be better?
He said that the gravel seal boosts the lightning damage. If I’m correct I think the erdtree seal boosts holy if anything at all
@AantiiiHero it does boost lightning by 10% correct, the tree seal has higher faith scaling at high faith stats, I guess the gravel stone seal is better at lower faith stats I guess?
In ng+3 not so powerful 😢
Do both dragon cult seals have to be fully upgraded?
No, just cast with the upgraded seal. Offhand the other for the buff.
How to make 2 gravel stone seal
new game + and go get it again
So you have to have 2 seals ? Does this mean you gotta have someone drop you one?
No u can finish the game and u can go into newgame + and find the same seal or yeah u can have someone drop it
NG+
Question: what about about arcane/faith with the dragon communion talisman? would that have a similar effect?
How do you get 2 of the same seals ?
NG+, friend joins and gives you one, or buy it off a website and have them join and give you one.
Which armor you are using ?
Does it work on elden beast?
Yes
Damn I need gravel stone. Anyone got an extra one they are willing to give? Ps5 😂
Do you know if ancient lightning dragon strike still works with the Godfrey talisman? Half the people I talk to say no it doesn’t work anymore. It got Nerfed and half of the people say yes. Maybe I’ll just stop being lazy and do some testing.
Have you found out if it works or not?
@@shadowwolfgm-br2353 nah bro been doin the dragons dogma thing. I’ll test it this week and let you know. I’m very curious.
@@_Lag_ alright bro let me know when you find out 👊🏽
Imma use a dex/ faith version on it bc this one is a lil boring and too easy
is this on ng+7?
Isn't it better to have 80 dex if you are going to main Bolt of Gransax, it's weapon art scales with dex. If you are maining incants 80 faith is better tho
Yeah I have 80 dex and I'm working on getting my faith up
I've havent gotten the 200 levels that you've got, and my Gransax is only level 6, but i dont get how you get 3000+ damage on a single lightning ive got dex and faith level 40-45.. i havent gotten the Alexander talisman, but im at 1100 maaaaybe 1800 with the buffs? i just dont get it
Because you’re faith/dex are much lower, your weapon isn’t upgraded enough, and you aren’t running the right talismans. What’s there not to get…
can anyone drop me 2 gravel stone seals ?
build is okay for ng+ you get half to a quarter of results as the video and die instantly if any boss touches you (Current Level 382)
Doesn't seem legit Malenia just dodges everything 🤷 been trying for 3 days now
Why doesn’t my bolt do this
Much damage. lol I have 99 faith. Got the right talismans
Was playing this class at launch when no one else wanted it because it was terrible. Then after it got buffed suddenly every one wants to play it
ya but ur level 200 ofc u do that much damage to the bosses u should be level 150 n less for these bosses usually unless this footage was taken in ng+? is it the case or no?
Watch fromsoft nerf it
Bruh.. i actually made this build exactly like its shown in the video except that i also leveled end to 22 in order to use malekith´s set and i also got mimic tear+10 and let me tell you this build does NOT melt Malenia and im not even in NG (im level 205). I think im gonna have to switch to Blasphemous blade build that one really does melt her, any advice?
it does melt her😂 i used it and it 4 shot her 1st phase and 6 shot second
So tired of people calling SL200 stat dumps a build.
So you just don't level up faith if you're a fan of faith, got it
Fr though, why they cant do a sl 150 build ? Or 125
Faith/dex lighting build is not a level 150 build. It’s a level 200 build. You can do a 150 version of it but it’s going to be asf and not recommended.
@@theuzigodmachine2848 What if you mix it up with melee like nagakiba or uchigatana. Im level 150 thinkong of respecing to this build
Hey man, i actually used this build more or less between level 100-150. You can probably clean up the stats some but if your want i can send you the build. I basically went 70 dex and then dumped stats to my personal needs. @@Rick-cs3jt
Had this build since the first week now everone uses it....
What’s your point? 😅
@@AshenOneGaming lame
Unfortunately I think we are all getting nerfed for the dlc no matter the build. Wouldn’t be fromsoft if it was easy 😎
>level 200,useless
A total lie. It doesnt work. Doesnt do the same damage as In the video.
yes it does😂😂
@@TakeNotes2 No It doesnt. The damage doesnt go to 4000 no matter what. Even with everything he said. Max is 3112.
@@WhiteWhistleBondrewd it still works i beat the game with this built and it did 4000 before the nerf genuis
@@TakeNotes2 So? Im still right. It doesnt do the same damage as In the video, as I said.
@@WhiteWhistleBondrewd and the video is 3 months old before it got nerfed i stand corrected
