      can you give us some information about how to help them? maybe financially or otherwise? i think many suscribers would want to help these good people in their cause for animal protection - maybe you could start a fundraiser for equipment and post it here?
      Ps: sorry i saw that there were some internetadresses for support at the end of the video

    Much respect to Zero for using his skills for honorable causes across the world, opposed to just selling training dvds and trying to get youtube hits. Much respect to these men also for putting themselves in danger to preserve nature and their land.

    They need to get some inexpensive drones they can use to recon several miles and not waste their energy/effort.

    • @jpenna1976
      @jpenna1976 8 років тому +5

      Inexpensive is just a bit relative. There are quite many variables, like range, operational time, altitude and onboard optotronics. Finnish Defence Forces bought such inexpensive systems, Israeli Orbiter IIB's. They cost about 550.000$ per system. If they still carry FN FAL's without slings... Nice idea though, but foreign funding would be needed.

    • @nismoman420
      @nismoman420 8 років тому +2

      jpenna1976 You could just use a $3000 drone, they can go for miles.

    • @jpenna1976
      @jpenna1976 8 років тому +6

      Maybe. It must have thermal, because your are really looking for a needle in the haystack. It think it should be fixed wing kind of thing to cover area faster.

    • @nismoman420
      @nismoman420 8 років тому +4

      jpenna1976 Thermals on a fixed wing platform would be highly more efficient, I was just thinking about on a tight budget.

    • @jpenna1976
      @jpenna1976 8 років тому +2

      nismoman420 True and agreed. I don't think they can get domestic funding, so... don't know. Maybe someone needs to win in a lottery.

    • @stijnvandamme76
      @stijnvandamme76 8 років тому

      There are minor difference between .308Winchester and 7.62x51 nato.
      Mostly the fact that the brass is thicker on 7.62 & that 308 Winchester can have bigger bullets and slower burning powder.
      To say there are no differences at all is absolute nonsense.

    • @flashingsword
      @flashingsword 8 років тому +1

      Chambers are different for .223 and 5.56. This can cause unsafe pressure spikes when firing the hotter 5.56 thru .223 chamber. Will your gun blow up? Probably not, but better to be safe than sorry.

    it's got to be rewarding to help these guys out, and what a beautiful place to do it. I don't get poaching/trophy hunting. if u kill it, eat it, don't waste it's life unnecessarily.

    • @Hunter-yy4es
      @Hunter-yy4es 8 років тому

      poaching is killing for the skin the horns the skulls etc. people pay top $$$ for it an its making them extinct including white Rhino from memory l think theres only 1 or 2 left in the world. do your research , this isn't deer hunting.

    • @boxheadsnow
      @boxheadsnow 6 років тому +2

      Trophy hunting brings in the money for conservation and is what funds these anti poaching campaigns. Kind of weird how it works. Once trophy hunting is removed from the equation, the anti poaching guys are often the first to become poachers. With that being said, I don’t like trophy hunting either.

      F SM .. I hope they stay on this, instead of another fucking Kardashian show, they make a show out of this.. it would bring this cause to the light and then maybe they can get some much needed supplies.. hell maybe they can put a bounty on poachers heads, that will motivate some people to go hunting humans and they get that out of their system, win win 😁

    • @tonyngc
      @tonyngc 8 років тому

      Yeah, if the economy is good, people have food, jobs, and money. It is the need for these things that lead to poaching in the first place.

    • @stijnvandamme76
      @stijnvandamme76 8 років тому

      The cause is greed. People make stupid amounts of money getting those rhino and elephant parts to China. that's the main cause.
      Even if everyon in Africa had a job, food and money, you'de still have poachers trying to get the valuable horns and tusks for the Chinese black market.
      If you want to eliminate greed you'll have to wipe out the human race first.

    I hope this video gets much more traffic in light of the last male White rhino passing away. :( so glad there are groups such as these for protecting our wildlife.
