I found out (on lower difficulties tho) that you can actually continue the combos if they bounce off the wall with an immediate tats kick to finish them off. I don't know if it leaves you vulnerable, but thought I should drop that info.

For your opening to the Baabos, do you find that they are consistently in sync after the two jumps? The setup looks like it could work, but the ideal spot for me would be a little closer to the left wall to easily nuke the incoming Zs 4:06 wow those two Shadow just stood there, menacingly :l You seem like you're pretty closed, give-take a couple of the harder extensions. Soon™!
I have 2 setups for the Kobos basically: that one where they're in sync, but it they start to desync I just push them to the left, dash and use a def special to push them a bit to the right, just below the chandelier. Not veeeeeery consistent, but it's the best I hate right now. I wish shadows just stared all the time, unfortunately that was a lucky instance! I'll give it a few more tries, but none of this stuff is consistent, especially in this patch. I think I can do it on the next patch, but on this one I'm just trying to find setups.
I guess a sub-par setup is better than none at all haha. Back when I was trying to find a solution to that part it almost always resulted in loss of control and chaos with desynchronized jumping around/flying maces. Awful stuff. For the Shadows it looked like the AI activated for the one at the right, and because he couldn't resolve his move, the rest couldn't activate. It's starting to look like the game can only issue commands to one enemy at a time, and that the next will only begin their action when the previous one has resolved. Could be wrong though 🤔 Were there some details about the next patch that came to light that we know for sure would make it easier?
@@FuzzYetDeadly To be honest I don't know much about the patch, except that many characters are getting buffs. Oh and some generic fixes like the robot leg now counting for combos and having the jump buffer back to normal (Yay Blaze and Adam's combos will be back!). On oDSFM's stream, when Jordi shows up, he considered raising the enemy aggro limit on Mania +, which would help some AFK issues. Let's see what the future holds up!
@@ManiacAlvin ok that sounds exciting! Hopefully they also fix the wall bounce outs thing because that had a huge impact on much that was possible in v05 next to the jump buffer. The AI limit increase is going to be harsh, especially since it's already quite challenging on Mania+ 🙄
@@FuzzYetDeadly Actually it might be for the best because it may make enemies more predictable. there's only 3 aggroing and there are about 20 enemies on the screen, most will just menacingly sorround you. If they have a direct approach to try to hit you, it might actually be beneficial. Imagina the Z's before the Koobos fight on Stage 12. It may actually be easier if most of them just try to go and group into you instead of going for weapons. It really depends, and it's just a possibility of course. We'll see how the patch ends up!

Thanks for the info! You can continue combos as long as you keep hitting them, you have 3 wall bounces and 1 OTG available.

Mania+ is hard, yes. I recomment you learn the roll into special loops, they really help out!

If you don't hit anything for a certain amount of time, the combo will finish.
