    The "Go Straight" melody riff was apparently a banger in the clubs, considering all the songs it's in.
    Edit: It's so good that Yuzo used it again in SOR 4 for the opening track "They're Back".

    I think all the "influences" for Go Straight are a bit misleading, Good Life by Inner City was such a massive club hit that everyone and their dog ripped it off circa 1990 (hence all the soundalikes). It's possible though unlikely that Yuzo Koshiro was inspired by one of the Good Life soundalikes and not the original, but it's more likely that it's inspired by Good Life

    • @TheOneSymphony
      @TheOneSymphony 2 роки тому +1

      None of this is plagiarized as it sounds close but not direct in all cases. There's obvious differences and laws that cover that so with how popular this soundtrack is, there would have been major plagiarism cases in the courts. So definitely not plagiarism, it's how music works.

      @@mushshrap6471 then you're definitely doing something or don't know what you're doing because any music that's done will have similarities, close or gapped and can be equated to something else. Damn, so this is where all the SOR songs came from. Too bad SOR4 had a garbage as hell lazier soundtrack that got a free pass by riding the coat tales of SOR 1-3. Nothing in that game comes close to the music in 1-3
