This is like a typical Expat Villa in Hua Hin in Thailand, very well designed. And very practical ceilings. I'm surprised so many new houses in Manila have 20 ft ceilings with wall to wall windows which makes it a challenge to cool and reduce the blinding glare from the sunlight. Nice dramatic look when you have 20 ft ceilings but not practical in hot and humid Philippines.
Love this home - its more than a house, it's a home ♡ Everything is just as they wanted it to be. A perfect lived in space which is modern & chic. The area they have built this in looks stunning. Safe & secure. I think the balcony is my favourite feature. It's all very beautiful and I wish them many years of happy living in this stunning abode ♡♡♡
Regarding the house… big but not too big very straightforward and of course very high tech and no shortage of furniture. Very well done. All I’d do differently is make it 3. -4 bedrooms up instead of 2 large ones ( more room for rellies who would definitely come to visit) Thanks Mark Euringer
Mr and Mrs Charles Newton Hodges of Iloilo City are famous for being the first billionaires in U.S. dollars in the Philippines and in the rest of Southeast Asia in the 1950s.
This home could easily be my IDEAL abode, Mike & Bianca. Modern with simple, clean lines, open concept, spacious inside & outside but manageable, natural lights, nothing ostentatious or pretentious, utilitarian with beautiful accents and high-tech offerings. What's not to ❤??! Absolutely nothing!!
Michael and Bianca. Have you ever thought to open up your own real estate business in Iloilo? You seem to have the needed connections and knowledge to make it happen… I presume that It would be easier if Bianca- for example was dual citizen… but you all have the connections and knowledge and salesmanship to make it work….. Thanks Mark Euringer
That UK expat must have a lot of money Mike and Bianca have you ever heard of Presello homes? This lady named Julie shows off the best Filipino Mansions you would be paying millions of dollars not pesos for a Presello home. Cool video 😎
The price of those mansions by presello will depend on the location. The house that's featured in this video is in Iloilo, it's not in Metro Manila where land values alone are well over 35,000 pesos per sq meter up to 100,000 psm in up and coming subdivisions
Wait...what? Are those dining chairs covered in plastic??? The 'tiles' by the pool are just concrete, right? Not real tiles but made to look like so. I have so many questions hahaha Anyways, love the enthusiasm of the presenter :))
Land here is approx ,15k per sq m when he bought it. Which is around 11m pesos alone. Now it's probably higher than that to buy. So that is more than 25% of the cost alone. Much of the details in the house are very specific and some items cost much more than others. House like this would easily sell for 30m PHP so it's reasonable considering the upgrades he made

NICE HOME 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
Nicest philipine home ive seen
It is not Philippino style at all !!!! It is European mansion !!!!
i like the cost of cleaning maids in the philippines, that another video you could do.
Definitely, except in Iloilo it's really hard now to find helo like that. Supply and demand and the demand for labour is so strong
I think you have featured tis video b4.
You would make a great realtor Mikey! 😂😊
I totally agree 😅😊
Agree! Kinda reminds me of a realtor named Phil Dunphy in Modern Family 😂

He built this for approx $500k including the land 😀
@@ThatPhilippinesLifethat must have been a few years ago. Any idea when the place was built?

This was an old video in “That Philippine Life”
I saw that long time ago!!!
Many have not seen it as it was last year
@@ThatPhilippinesLife Why not repeat all your videos shown last year in That Philippine Life?
How much did that house cost to build and was about the land?
Everything including land approx $500k
How much to make a house like that one in iloilo?
Everything including land approx $500k

I think you are right, patterned concrete?
Nice home but is that really $500K? Seems a bit high, is the land expensive in that neighborhood?

P.S. ❓️ But why does the thumbnail read "Less than a 1 bedroom Condo at home"???? Mistake?? It's confusing! ❓️
1 bedroom condo at home is about $750k, he built this for under $500k including the land
@@ThatPhilippinesLife = Methinks the words "for LESS the cost of" are missing ... imo
@@gg_Javier I'll take a look at it again
John is a foreigner. How is he able to own this house, since only Filipinos can legally own land in the Philippines. Is his wife Filipino?
Old Re Upload!!😂
