Great job of catching so much beauty and energy.
Oh my lord. What beautiful ladies. Looks like a Awsome time.
My friend, you are a great chronicler of Filipino life and living! This is a truly engaging and enjoyable vlog. Thanks, Michael🙏🏼🇵🇭💖🇨🇦
I’m really enjoying your content. I appreciate your perspective of the places you visit. It gives good information for me to plan my trip there. Keep up the great work.
Nice that you have visited and experienced once again the hospitality of the people of Banate through their famous annual festival, the Kasag Festival!
Again, we thank you for your visit here in Banate and Bayside Banate. Hopefully you and Billy enjoyed the festival. Next time give us a social visit so we could pop some bottles. Cheers to you and Billy.
Thank you this was my 3rdtime visiting Banate and I love it every time
I see province girls without makeup or fancy dress and they look twice as good as those beauty contestants.
Many natural beauties in the Philippines, don't blame the beauty queens the make up is mandatory for the competitions
Everyone is a critic but you can tell this one doesn't have a woman he isn't sharing with other guys😂😂😂
Hey Michael! Thanks for showing this 2 years in a row. I’m watching from Seattle, Washington, USA. My father’s side of the family is from Banate. BTW, you and Bianca might want to learn to speak at least basic Ilonggo since you’ve been there over a year and plan to stick around.
I changed my settings, and its all set now. No more break ups! So, thumb up!!!!
Great video.
great vid
Love crab but those are really small not much meat remind me of the rock crab in vancouver but the prize was to catch Dungeness crab really good eating and way bigger
Sorry for the thumb down! But this video stops all the time. It is not my set-up, because I backtracked, and it stops at the exact same time again. So, its the video itself. I love the 4K picture though! I love what you do. I have been binge watching you. Thank you!
It is very sad to hear that you want to leave Iloilo. We are emigrating from Germany to Iloilo in September 2024. we have in Calinog, Banate and Sta. Barbara properties, as well as an apartment in One Spatial. It's a shame we don't get to know each other. Many greetings Maria and Marco
That's true. People in Banate have some Spanish ancestry, which is why there are plenty of these people. Also having strong Spanish ancestry are people from the adjoining municipalities: Ajuy, Barotac Viejo , Anilao, Dueñas, Barotac Nuevo, Dingle, Janiuay. 7:21
Looked like one big street party and lots of fun. It's great seeing all the community getting involved. Love it 😀 xxx
Noisy fun ! Crabs and garlic rice? I'd be in heaven!
The languages spoken in Banate are similar to Iloilo City: Hiligáynon, Tagálog, and English.
Michael, Saturday 7pm is the start of Christmas lighting in Pototan. Love your new Channel!
We will be there!
I’m drooling watching this vlogs 😅😮❤❤❤😊

Yea I need to try it!

A piece of bread if you could get it to aid that shell in throat feeling….thats a pain. A little ball of rice could work too but I think bread is better. New topic: Luv it. Filipino time-40min to hours late; crab time= NOW!
I have to make it to that festival! But there is pretty much no information I found online. How did you find out about it?
LGU banate Facebook page. Here in the Philippines everything is by Facebook
@@ThatPhilippinesLife thank you
I’m getting curious about Sir Billy; what is his accent? Is he married to a Filipina? When did he move to Phil? Is rice farming his main business? I’m not at end do sorry if these questions are answered In the vid…..& if no reply, I get it!
He grew up in Egypt
I believe a few years ago he and his Filipina wife moved to the Philippines

I enjoy your vlogs but you can show the food without sticking your dirty fingers that close to it..
