Fash is just temporary stuck in another timeline. He will eventually come back to his real timeline. That is what I understood by his conversation with “ drunk Poseidon”. The alternate version of Aquaman .
@@rbbrum110 u got to give it to Reeves, man went in with a large blue sweater to trick the casting agents and refused to take steroids. Cavill refused to take steroids and it was apparently a stipulation of his contract that he wasn’t allowed any performance enhancing drugs as if it came out that the guy playing superman took steroids to get that way it would be bad publicity. Got to give it to Cavill man really fills out that suit!
I would've like to have seen the original ending as well. But, the ending they gave made a strange sort of sense in saying that no matter how Barry thought he put things right, messing with time has consequences.
Sounds like Warner Bros in a nutshell. No matter how they think they made things right with every whacky move, they will always bear the consequences of screwing up the movie timelines and it has consequences.
ikr, thru his tinkering around with the timelines hes ended up in the Clooney Batverse lol George Clooney is now the DCEUs Batman! kind of apt for the mess the DCEU got it self into!
It really ridiculous how hard they are making this. WB wanted to make money off their product riding off the MCU wave and thought fans would rather eat up cool CGI over a great storyline. All that comic source material and movie history, they couldn’t have come up with enough of a storyline to have independent character stories along with inter weaving them with a JL storyline, used a couple cameos from the past to bring out nostalgia, and applied it together with a great director to create a great product. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed each movie, but it’s not like I’m going back to rewatch it all like I do with the Avengers and movies around it.
My take on the ending is that if Clooney was Batman, it meant that Flash was still in the wrong dimension. I would have much preferred an Affleck and Cavill ending.
It could have been just a joke, and then justify it and explain it in a sequel. Now there most likely won’t be a sequel so we’ll never know. Hopefully dvd edition has the alternative ending?
The ending we got was also a sneaky way gunn and wb could give ezzras flash character a happy ending in the cloony-vers that way they don't have to use ezzra Miller anymore :( and can easily recast the flash character
Mine too. But they trolled us and Ezra hard. Ending it knowing we are in Clooney's Batman world?!? That's the last thought we have of this movie. Batman & Robin. And leaving Ezra Miller in that world, never to be seen again?!? Hardcore trolling right there!
Finally when DC was starting to make sense and deliver good movies, with Keaton’s Batman and Sasha’s Supergirl entering main DCU and *Cavill’s Superman* returning, James Gunn nuked the hell out of the The Flash’s ending! I’m speechless seeing such a *WTF ending* to such a great movie!
Gunn is trying to squeeze his posse into the dceu.. You just wait and see how he will shoehorn chris pratt, karen gillian, batista, his brother and his wife into the dceu..
The Flush is CANCER. Only sheeple pay for that kind of leftist indoctrinating propaganda. Nobody needs a reboot, a new Superman or a brownwashed SuperTomboy with a lesbo haircut and a cheap suit. The "humour" is terrible. The 2 Barrys are cringe AF. Affleck and Keaton are there for just 15 minutes. The CGI is even WORSE than that of JOSStice. The plot has NOTHING to do with the original Flashpoint story. Finally, both Ezra Miller and James Gunn are P3D0PHILES who should be in JAIL. #BoycottWBD
This is why, despite James Gunn's great track record. I cannot be invested in DC anymore. It's not a short thing they're planning. I don't want to wait another DECADE to see if this goes anywhere. Yeah I saw the Flash. The entire thing kept having me feel "This would be a great launching point to Explore new stories without uprooting the last decade of work" but they uprooted it all and didn't even use the characters they should/could have because of it.
I feel really bad/upset for Sasha Calle. She truly put her heart into the film bringing Supergirl to life and she has said in interviews how she feels Supergirl was written in the stars for her and would absolutely love to be back as the girl of steel!
she looks so ridiculous in that role, she is wimpy looking. one of the worse characters ever picked. no one cares what she feels or thinks if she can't fit the role.
@@Matt-ht8mc Haven't seen it probably won't, not a fan of Ezra Miller's flash or this new Director Gunn.. just because you were successful in one superhero franchise doesn't mean success will translate to another. Already doubting I will watch any of his works already. Sure I feel bad for Sasha Calle, same thing with Henry Cavill whose performances as Superman were all time great but he just got stuck with directors who mucked up the stories and casting (Affleck). Zack Snyders work was not as poor as people treated it though.. Man of Steel to me was near perfection and the 2nd half of BvS made that movie pretty good in my book, The Justice league synder cut was really good... Besides I never got to see Henry Cavil's superman rip Ben Afflecks head off which would have made me happy as hell to see lol.
Word. She was awesome. My kids and I were fans of supergirl series, but Sasha's portrayal in Flash brings a refreshing depth and darkness to the character. I mean (spoiler alert), her planet blows up, she's orphaned and imprisoned on Earth, finds out baby cousin - her raison de'tre - is dead. More Ms. Calle please.
Really sad to hear Ben wanted to continue. He had it in him to be a great Batman. He was in a terrible point in his real life while shooting JL especially and he is in a much better place now. He admitted he didn't do the role justice but he loves the character and i think the Afleck directed and staring as Batman solo film would of been fantastic. Here's hoping down the road he can perhaps be the Bruce in a Beyond adaptation. It really pisses me of two great and passionate fans of there roles in Ben and Henry got treated so poorly. The joy Henry showed after finally donning the cape again was heartwarming but then his huge obvious sadness just days later gutted me. Cavill is a dude and deserved better.
I never got why some people underrated Affleck's Batman. He was absolutely perfect. But, he was being undermined by trolls since before he even appeared on screen. I guess there's just some Affleck haters out there or maybe it's just those entitled fans who think THEIR Batman should be the only one ever. It was great seeing Michael Keaton back (one of several actors to play a major character in both DC and Marvel), but that's no excuse for anyone to downgrade how good Affleck was. It would be nice if Affleck got to do a Brandon Routh and come back at some point as another version of his character. But, quite honestly, if I was either Affleck or Cavill I would tell the new bosses at Warner they can stick their capes where the sun don't shine. Appalling treatment. But that's Hollywood.
They hated him because he killed ppl as batman, but i would say he has the best batman body and he has the best batman fights bro busted thru solid wood and dragged someone under the floor
It was mostly because the... well everything. The movies were cringe. The Nolan batmans were just amazing all around. None of the characters fit the roles (except for superman and maybe wonderwoman) and they way the movies were shot. And the writing was just terrible. Idk I think it just that the live action will never live up to the animated.
Mmmm I cant get onboard his being the best. However, imo he looks the abaolute best hands down AND had the potential to be the best. But was never given the right material to make that true. He deserved better movies.
They stole Prime Cavill Superman from the fans and yes Reeve was wonderful, but Cavill deserved more time imho with serious tone from MOS/BVS/ZSJL but the brighter hopeful version which I learned we were getting after he went evil in JL2 then JL3 the boy scout...still pi$$es me off WB listening to silly fans and shill critics. Imho I was looking for a Jon Hamm/Matt Bomer Superman instead of the YOUNG Cavill clone Superman we are getting now...Ridiculous!!!
@@L1ghtOn3 That dark shit was trash and it ruined superman for years sadly. It was the right choice to start fresh even though we lost Cavil who couldve been great with a better writing team.
No, we really don't! ... Christopher Reeve was much better. Henry Cavill never really played a legitimate version of that character. Just some depressing emo punk.
With "We", you mean "You". Because you must be the only one in the entire world not loving Henry Cavill. "Depressing emo punk"? are you sure you are not talking about Batman?
Simple Fix:1)Flash is indeed still in the wrong universe and will need Clooney’s Bruce Wayne to get out. 2)Affleck’s Bruce Wayne is also trapped in a separate universe the nightmare timeline and is reaching out for help as well. 3)Young Barry Allen having been inspired by Keaton’s Batman’s sacrifice will join forces with Supergirl and possibly a Green Lantern to save that universe from future threats. Finally the main universe Cavill’s Superman,Gadot’s Wonder Woman,Momoa’s Aquaman and Fisher’s Cyborg attempt to try and locate missing members Miller’s older Flash as well as Affleck’s Batman all the while General Swanwick’s Martian Manhunter warns them of an impending White Martian invasion
Cavill, Affleck and Gadot were all very good in their roles. Corrupting the film just to introduce bad changes was a very foolish move, and I'm not sure how they could have not realized that.
The original intentions of getting rid of Cavil of Affleck weren't good either ...the film was probably better off staying shelved but WB wanted to try and recoup that money spent
I think Clooney being Batman drove home the point the Keaton tried to tell Barry. No matter what Barry does there is no returning to his original universe. He can try to get as close as possible to how it was but there are always some unforseen changes and consequences. Thats something Barry has to learn to live with and accept that he is responsible for those consequences. Just like in the original flashpoint storyline.
Actually Flash went back again after he removed the tomato sauce from grocery cart. Specifically, he wnted to his dad to 'look up'when he shopped in the past
@@leonardobraynen1524 He didn't go back again, but he did "change" something again (he moved the tomato sauce after taking it from the cart, that was all the same trip). And I think it makes the ending fit the movie 100% - change one thing and you could change everything was the whole point, and even after Barry "learns" that, he still changes one thing. And now Gunn is free to shape his new DCU in a way that he can keep those he wants (even in different roles) or not.
I loved the ending because I've always held that Tim Burton's Batman movies were not connected to Joel Schumacher's "sequels". The Clooney cameo proves that he is not just another actor playing the same role, but a Batman from an alternate universe. Finally, justice for Keaton's Batman!
Getting rid of cavill is a huge mistake. I’m 48 and loved Reeves as Superman but Cavill is the best ever. He’s made for that part. He is Superman and always will be
@@markverani5088 Cavil's Superman is a self involved moper with no sense of humor or personal responsibility. Dean Cain, Brandon Routh, George Reeves, Ben Affleck as George Reeves, Tim Daly, Christopher Reeve, ect.
@@alphanerd7221 That's what I thought. You don't like that Man of Steel went beyond the usual fun to actually take a critical look into the psyche of a kid growing up with such powers and how the sense of responsibility and need for anonymity were built. You want a very happy orphan who was just all round contented to be loved. One who never had a conflict about why he was so different. You don't want to explore the amount of self-control it takes for such a kid to not destroy every kid who angers him when he can have absolutely no consequences. I'm sorry, but Man of Steel is the most realistic portrayal of how a near human person with such values comes to be. No one who is significantly different from everyone else only has a fun time of it. And it's that much more difficult if you want to conceal who you are. Take a good look at Demi Lovato and others like her. I actually thought Keke Palmer was surprisingly balanced until recent events showed she wasn't as fortunate as I thought. If you want light-hearted stuff, Marvel is it. The DC comics world is on a different frequency. This is the realistic representation of a superman who might become a tyrant if he loses some people dear to him and decides to really have a balanced look at humanity. This is the Superman that is going to enter a fist fight with Batman. The events of Man of Steel make it entirely reasonable for batman to find ways to kill superman. The truth is you wanted a joyous story with a superman in a world of good people, criminals who just are uncomplicated bad guys, and megavillains, capable of giving superman a little bit of a challenge. That isn't the world we live in. In a realistic world, the bullies of his age and reporters seeking to make a name; witch hunters afraid of what is different seeking to destroy and ostracise; those are the influences that will dominate unless the Kents could bring him up the way it was done in Man of Steel.
I saw the movie yesterday. I did not leave the theatre thinking it was fabulous. I agree with this video, the film’s ending felt off. The bonus footage made no sense…
The ending which would have featured Keaton’s Batman, Supergirl, Batman and Wonder Woman would have been PERFECT 🤩 especially with the Post Credits Knightmare Batman scene featuring Ben Affleck in the mix as well…………….James Gunn dropped the ball HUGE!!!!! 🎥
Did we watch the same movie??? It was still horrible!!!! Years in delay, reshoots, and still SUCKED!!!! For that reason , the dceu and DCU went down in a flaming ball of 💩what are you all not getting,ZS ,James Gunn, couldn’t have saved it, they just were hoping something would make WB money, but didn’t 😢
I was disappointed with the ending as well. It was more about presenting cameos than it was about bringing the storyline full circle to a logical conclusion. I believe the motivation was to facilitate an open ended universe to enable recasting in a number of roles.
Hey it was the best ending becoz flash is still in the wrong timeline and you will get to see in the sequel kytone aflleck and other Batmen and might be possible Cavill as well.
SPOILERS: I liked the cameo cavalcade anyway, but especially because the last third of the movie over all was disappointing (everybody helping Flash dies and then EVERYBODY IN A UNIVERSE DIES, SEVERAL UNIVERSES? ! I knew Flashpoint was dark but c'mon) and SOME respect to those who came before (actors, creators, eras etc) was due (tho I eyerolled at having the Nicolas Cage cameo). I spent the last 10 minutes or so imagining a big DCWarner movie set in the 1950s black and white Steve Reeves dimension!
I wish Ben a fleck to continue to be Batman, he is the most accurate persona for the role. He reminds me of the cartoon Batman. I also wish with all my heart to have Cavil as Superman. I will accept no other Superman! 😢
These original ideas would have really improved the movie. I like Ben and Henry in their respective roles. I would have loved to see Keaton continue in some way and even Supergirl
Now that woulda have been a good surprise if bale came out the car instead of clooney. That could get people excited for the next movie. But with Clooney not so much
@@Kali4niaLyfe I disagree Bale is way to much of a dick. Henry would never work with him that's one of the reasons why he was dropped. "Doesn't play well with others"
I really liked Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, and Ben Affleck. I’ve heard mixed feelings about Zack Snyders extended four hour version of the justice league movie, but I really liked it. After that I was really gearing up to see some thing with the flash. Well, I did enjoy the flash movie. It’s sad to think that everyone is going to be recasted. At the end of the justice league movie, I was looking forward to seeing Martian, Manhunter, and another DC film! By the same actor! Sorry, I’m all over the place. Lol.
I loved Snyder's Cut. Because it finally felt like DC live-adaptations were getting where they needed to be which was COSMIC. They can't keep rebooting the same characters. We finally had a core group of actors that did good-to-great in their roles (As much as I personally dislike Ezra Miller), a director that has the chops for epics, and at least somewhat of a plan to really make things soar. Were there missteps? Sure. But nothing they couldn't fix with a bit of story-splaining.
I'm 57 and have watched every live iteration of Superman since the George Reeves version and Cavill is, BY FAR, the best. They will not do better and not keeping him in the role is a mistake of epic proportions. A high quality actor who actually looks the part and doesn't need padded costumes and CGI and you want to get rid of him? Unbelievable. This is the kind of decision making that will ensure DC never catches Marvel when it comes to live action cinema. They don't have the leadership chops to pull it off.
I am 56. Cavill is my favorite but Cristopher Reeve's is the more Iconic. From Cristopher's Superman comes all the rest of the Superhero movies up to now.
If Cavill's the best we haven't seen it yet. Christopher Reeve did far more in the role than Snyder asked Henry Cavill to do. It was rather flat in terms of the things that were asked of Superman in the Cavill performances.
Agreed Cavil was the best or at least the best since Reeves. I loved Cavils preformance, his acting, the physical strength contributing to how he carries himself. It all felt so real. I also loved Afleck, I felt he was an amazing batman, pulling off both the dark night and the brooding billionaire playboy and having the bulk muscle to make his combat seem feasible. It's hard to pull off both dark night and playboy roles and he's the first to do it. Whoever is responsible for bringing an end to the new DC universe, should have a fitting punishment, they should be forced to watch their shitty movies for the rest of their lives.
I think they should at least finish the story arc they started with Cavil before rebooting the Universe, at least Marvel had the decency to do that before going full woke! My problem is we never get to see Darkseid, and his invasion of Earth that they set up in Batman v. Superman, the Flash was the one that went back in time to warn them, remember, so. Future Flash interfered in the timeline to create Justice League. the mechanics of time travel are not consistent in these movies, that is the problem! they just used it as an excuse to get old actors to reprise Batman and then kill him off, and then get this new Supergirl and then kill her off, this movie is unsatisfying, it doesn't make me want to go back and watch another DC movie, as they will make one or two movies and then leave the plot threads hanging without finishing them!
@@TheRealCoryKent We haven't seen it yet because DC didn't let Snyder finish his Superman arc. And now, of course, we never will because Hollyweird is upset with Henry for some unknown reason and seems to want to blackball him because he cares about these stories and wants to stay true to the source material and to what the fans want. I disagree that Christopher Reeve "did far more," he just had 3 more movies than Henry did to display his talent. I love Reeves' portrayal in general, but what Snyder was doing was going to add actual depth to the character on the silver screen. I feel like James Gunn is going to ruin things for us in a way no one else has before. I really hope I'm wrong.
You are absolutely right. Once again, the meddling of the studio prevented the true vision of the director. The hiring of Gun was a huge mistake, RIP DC. It will never catch any momentum because WB executives can't keep their nose out of the project..
Sorry but the DCEU created by Snyder was a zombie, his 'bold new vision' was panned by almost everyone except a limited group of fan, surely not enough to justify a continuation as the much vaunted Snyder's version of the Justice League clearly demonstrated, add Ezra Miller crime spree, Black Adam (with all the fight between Johnson and the WB executives )and Shazam being a flop and nobody in his right mind will have continued that money sink
@@TonyAlexander-on4sy it sure looks like Gunn and his chronie did a great job implanting George Clooney into the end of the flash movie, not to mention the crappy after credits scene.. Both idiotic decisions... yea. He's doing great things...
@@lukedalton the reality is if the director is allowed to do his work without executives meddling, perhaps DCEU would have been a money maker. But it wasn't because executives wanted to put in their 2 cents on the length of the film to the darkness of the film... You think if executives would have meddled in the making of the titanic, do you really think it would have been a hit? I think not
@@dmoreno323 except the brief period in the 70's, the producers have always and always meddled in the making of the movie as they are the one that give the money necessary to do it and want it back. Expecially in this days as the budget of the movie have reached absurd level
You hit the nail in the head. Warner Bros micro manages and it shows. Don’t get me wrong they should have a plan for the DCEU as a whole. But develop the plan, implement it and hire people that will carry it out. DC has great stories they just need to be told in a coherent manner.
It's as if the plan changed every new movie they made. They setup Darkseid in 2 different movies then do a bunch of movies that ignore it. They say they are making Man of Steel 2 then they aren't, then they are again and then aren't. It's really hard to get excited and get involved in a story that feels like it could lead nowhere and be dead any second.
ALSO let’s face it, Cavell and Affleck are BIG$$. They are just getting cheap and don’t want to pay for A list stars (ok/ Cavell is B list.. still good).
Not micro manage. Everyone wants a piece of the profits (even the ones who voted not to greenlight the process)If you know the inside of the industry, you would know that the board of directors and powerful investors call the shots. Exp. If a new writer or assitant producer got brought in the middle of the "production" process (filming, etc) percentage "points" have to be given to the new writer and producer AND the Investors who pushed for this to happen! It's a lot of "narcissistic egos" that want a piece of the financial pie" If a new producer or writer change even just a scene or dialogue they ALL get percentage points of the film (That's why so many movies look convoluted or doesn't make sense.) The 3rd act doesn't mesh with the 1st act (you've seen this in many movies. they start off great then by the middle you're like "wtf") Another example is the movie is screened by the BODs, one of them decide a love scene should be put in of their vision (raunchy) well the director has to accomodate! Investors feel the movie isn't funny enough (here comes the silly reshoots that totally throws off the continuity of the movie. (Thor 4, Aquaman 2, Marvels, etc) And the "Flash" was a algamated disaster with unfinished SFXs and too many visions of what the movie was suppose to be (I think it had 3 directors and James Gunn adding his vision to the final product)
Totally agree! They should have not deleted Gal Gadot (as Wonder Woman), Henry Cavill (as Superman) and Ben Affleck (as Batman) and they should have made some scenes to keep the excitement to look forward on to the next DC movies.. Totally dismayed when I left the cinema.. WB should really be taking this seriously if they really want to get DC reign over past Marvel movies.
How about a real cliffhanger of a climax with the Flash going to Wayne Manor, that was being set up as a Hall of Justice in one of the movies, Barry opening the doors, and seeing a number of heroes from the different universes in their costumes. CGI the heroes that have passes but could you imagine every DC hero, including the oes from the Arrowverse! Would be quite a shot! Unite the universes and then you could take the films in any direction you wanted, TV, animated, or movies.
I quite agree on your assessment of the movie ! not happy with the ending, getting rid of Ben Affleck's batman and Henry Cavill's superman was a big mistake for the DCU. They interfere too much . chopping and changing. In my opinion these actors were well suited for their characters
Everything was slowly falling in place affleck was back, cavill was back and Zack was even gearing up to come back but Gunn came along and was like naaah
Wb was not letting Zack back there has been Zero talk about that I love the snyder verse as much as the next guy But just beacuse the actors were gona reprise there roles dosent mean they would have been written ir shot like how Zack would have
Totally agree. James Gun aint got a fking clue. Guy dont even know how to dye his own hair an Dc warner brothers gonna trust this clown to direct a movie. Dc committed suicide by hiring this clown
God damn It I really wanted to see cavill Superman one more time in that original ending because that could’ve been really awesome and a great send off for these characters.
I was hoping to at least see him in the showcase of supermen they showed from the various universes. But no we got Nicolas Cage. IT was a fun nod, but keeping Henry out of the universe superman showcase felt like another slap to his legacy.
I think that the ending must have been a mixture of the first and second ending. Batfleck is still Batman but we see Cavil's Superman and then Barry is shocked to see Sasha Calle's Supergirl. Bruce asks, who is this? Superman say one word "Well...". (Story)Kara's pod was stuck in the Phantom Zone for 40 yrs but time is diff. there. Her pod got knocked by a wave after 40 yrs and sets it course to its destination reaching Earth. Clark sees the pod marching towards Earth like a meteor being broadcasted in a news channel. He reaches the destination but sees that the pod has already landed. He resembles it from his pod from which he came to Earth. He removes the hood and sees a girl. The girl sees the symbol of hope on his chest and recognizes, it's her cousin Kal-El. Superman asks: Who are you? The girl replies: I'm your cousin Kara-Zor-El. We are family. 😇
shoulda had Baffleck half fused in some metal of his Baffleckomobile, a la Philadelphia project, lol - kinda making it like overtly obvious hit us over the head with a 2x4 kinda obvious that he was permanently gone and done for !!! Good riddance, Hack Snyderverse!!! what an abomination that was!!! Even Nipple Clooney is now more officially *canon* LOL I love it - sign me up for the steelbook bluray of this!!!
I think Deluca and Abdy’s ending would have been best because it’s somewhat closure on the universe. Where as this Clooney ending is confusing because now Clooney is Batman but in awuaman 2 Ben affleck might still make an appearance as Bruce Wayne, but then the next DCU project “Superman Legacy” will have a completely new cast it’s going to confuse the general audience.
Not sure why Gunn didn’t just let the 2023 slate be and start his universe with no reference to the old one. He already f’d it up by announcing the reboot early and now they’re in a deeper hole.
not for me. I barely sat thru Man of S aka P. of S. and didn't watch B v S and didn't watch JL black and white snyder version nor any other version... sounds like it'll be ripe to come back into the fold and give this franchise my deserved attention once again! Sayonara, Hack Snyder! don't let the door hit ya on the way out!!!
Cavil is the real life embodiment of superman. He's jacked and looks powerful, but a gamer nerd at the same time. Same as clark kent, superman when in superhero mode, nerdy reporter during the day.
Delunca and Abdys ending was so much better for what they were doing. And of course Gunn had to ruin it. I don’t think he should’ve intervened and touched it in the first place
I was also a bit disappointed in the ending. If George Clooney is Batman, what other differences are there. It implies that Barry’s universe is still not back to normal. The ending reminded me of the Simpson’s Treehouse of Horror episode (Time and Punishment) where Homer goes back in time and keeps doing small things in the past that alter the future. He keeps travelling to the past to try to put everything back to normal but every time he does, he comes back to a different universe. Finally, he comes back and everything seems to be normal. Except Marge and the kids now all have long, snake-like tongues. Homer then says ‘Eh, close enough.’ Overall, I enjoyed the movie. It was good to see Michael Keaton as Batman again (doing some real butt kicking at the prison) and I thought Sasha Calle did a great job as Supergirl. (a change from the blonde, blue eyed Supergirl that has been the standard for over 60 years.)
I agree Sasha Calle did a great job, I hope they find a way to bring her into the main or new Universe.. I hope Gunn does justice ( no pun inteneded ) to his new reboot, but with the Clooney scene I won't be holding my breath.. to me it means it is going to be a campier DCU.. and to me i find DC is a lot darker than Marvel.. so if goes campier I do not think it will go well with DC fans.. hope ya all understand this, I am not great with words.. so what i am trying to say might of fell a little short of the mark I was trying to say
@Cara Mordsith Marvel can be plenty dark its really just been the movies that have made dc seem much darker than marvel where as in the comics both dc and marvel are both Very cammpy and Dark
What everyone seems to forget is that George Clooney IS Micheal Keaton's Batman....they just recast the part. Same Universe, just different actors, so putting Clooney in as Batman did nothing but make it more confusing and convoluted just for the sake of a "gotcha" cameo. It was dumb and uninspired.
Including Clooney was just a nice way of Bringing in another Batman actor. We all knew that the DCEU is ending, who cares what happened, it's over. I liked seeing Clooney, I just wished Flash had thought to go back and save Kara earlier removing Zod's ability to build New Krypton thus saving that earth and his mother.
Unfortunately that's exactly what destroyed the Terminator franchise. Too many directors directing different sequels, they left the audience so confused and in the end even James Cameron couldn't save it. Dark fate is the worst in the franchise.
@@puichiung2959 Genisys had a good plot my only issue with this franchise is the constant recasting of John Corner in every movie, Arnold was fine but to make it believable, they could have kept the same actors for sequels. And that's what going to kill DC as well if they won't listen to the fans.
The movie gave me great satisfaction in someway, but the problem is that I expected more! They have the resources and the actors and there’s lots of good ideas, but Warner Brothers always change the script, thinking that they will make money, but they have to remember that they cannot erase the history and they had made bad choices because thinking about money. Not everything is money, but if you give the people what the people like Sure they will make more money!
The Clooney ending made sense because Barry still mucked with the timeline by moving the tomatoes so that his father's face would be revealed to the camera, thus exonerating him. That would not have happened in Barry's original timeline. So, I was ok with that based on how Keaton explained the changes. That being said, I too love the Cavill/Affleck/Gadot dynamic and am really sad not to get more of them. They really need to stop messing with the franchise.
I could have used another minute with Clooney, showing a more personable, friendly Batman, maybe throwing a party for Barry and his dad, with Batgirl and Robin (and others?) showing up.
Those twats at WB are doing what Marvel did and are replacing the most popular characters with actors who have all the appeal of cold fries. Supergirl (Superwoman) looks like a pig stuck in the wrong time of the month - just gross. Fuck you WB and fuck you Marvel.
They're not messing with the franchise, they've been trying to fix 15 years of Snyder ruining it and being part of it because of his wife's nepotism. Snyder is a great director for movies like 300 or dawn of the Dead, the kind that are only dumb action with no substance and that's ok, he's in the same shelf as Michael Bay and that's profitable but they're not able to develope characters, to give them personality and make them grow, which is what a long lasting franchise needs.
Cavill, Affleck and Gadot were perfect for their roles. I agree with @BigSlimyBlob. It would have been great if they brought in Supergirl into a slightly modified DC Universe at the end. Think, how would she (Kara) and Kal El manage their relationship now that he is the older cousin and has to watch out for her? There could be some fun in that, but still w/ that grounded serious tone that we've come to enjoy from the Snyder verse. Also, I would have loved to see Affleck's Batman film. The JL movie (Zack Snyder's version) set it up perfectly if they would have followed after that. Well, lets see what happens in the future. However, I'm not to excited at the moment with the new regime. We'll see what happens next. Plus you had a big bad who (in my humble opinion) was more intimidating than Thanos... Darkside... It would have been nice to see a Darkside war movie. But I'm rambling.. Sorry guys....
This is just another example of large studios making decisions for their own sake rather than for the fandom. You would have thought they learned from the success of bringing back the Snyder cut because of the screaming we all had to do for them to hear us. Then they just ignored us all again. Look at how Sony has handled the spider verse. Masterful.
The Snyder cut was just hot dumpster water..... I mean the theatrical release wasn't amazing but it cut out a lot of meaningless dribble that made the movie longer.....not better. So to call the Snyder cut cave in a success is dubious. I mean did we really need that WW theme every time she farted? The joyless Superman? The Darkseid scene that will never lead to anything? The extra shit after they brought Superman back from the dead until they stole the mother box? The extra scenes between the fights of Barry eating and 872 more MY MANs to name just a few? No. Oh now I have an AMAZING new idea....... let's make it in black and white now.....
Spot on. Egos get in the way and people just have to stamp all over someone else's work. It has ruined many movies and franchises before now. And oh my god YES, the Snyder Cut of Justice League was amazing. I sat there open mouthed because I knew I was watching the same movie but it was almost like I'd never seen it before. Twice as long and barely a wasted frame. Incredible. So glad we got the original vision restored. Such a shame it never saw light of day as the proper full screen release it should have been. Studios! Aaarrgghh!
It’s entirely possible that DC will regret the hiring of Gunn. Thus far nothing he’s done in the DC has enhanced anything. Sad really, just when fans were getting engaged again this nonsense happens.
I don’t want to sound like I hate James Gunn or his plans for DC and I hope that what he has in store is successful and entertaining, but dang! I seriously doubt that I’m the only person who is at least a little angry about how the film’s ending was vs what it could have been.
I TOTALLY AGREE 👍👍👍👍 !!!! WB and James "I Am The Studio" Gunn are complete lunatics for all of the nonsensical changes they made to Andy's film ! "THE FLASH ⚡️" could have been a LOT better than we got to see in its current theatrical version ! #FireJamesGunn #RestoreTheSnyderVerse
That's the thing, when it comes to flashpount paradoxes, there is always a side effect to the changes, no matter how well you fix it, or how good you think it was done, there will always be a certain thing that changes, always. As a speedster, unless you are absurdly experienced and know exactly how to alter the timeline to suit your needs, any flashpoints when reverted will always have something wrong with it, you need to be extremely good at doing it to be able to come out with no changes, and even then being able to do that is very rare.
...then wouldn't say Lex Luther as President have been a better way to show this? You get to show the fans some appreciation by showing Cavill and Affleck (ie. not piss them off) and still drive the point home. Seems to be lazy writing and a big middle finger to the fans of this DCU.
Yes but let's leave logic for the animated and the comics, ass the cinematic universe is already shit , introducing more shit Ness could have been avoided
You make many good points. My "two cents": 1. Ben Affleck's Batman is pretty badass - but M. Keaton and his batmobile are the OP in my book and the only reason I was psyched for this movie (I don't compare the movies to the 60's show). 2. Cavill is the best Superman since Christopher Reeve - BY FAR! 3. Gal Gadot's Wonderwoman is awesome (although the last movie should have had a better script). Her character should definately get more movies made! In addition: 1. Hollywood needs to stop erasing characters the second the movie doesn't do as well as expected, if TV shows got cancelled after 1 episode with bad ratings, no one would bother watching shows anymore - why invest in a character's story when he/she might get erased after 1 sub-optimal movie. 2. When a project gets a new leader/boss/chief/project manager even once during its lifetime - things have the potential to go either way... if it happens more than once, it's all the more likely to mess things up. Even if every new leadership has good ideas, the constant changes will demoralize employees, reduce productivity and lead to an incoherent result. It's so OBVIOUS and it's painful to see it happen over, and over in movieprojects. Finally - THIS was an awesome movie. The cast did a fantastic job (all of them) but everyone involved (cast, crew, investors etc) deserved a better ending... and so did the fans! # SAVE CAVELL's superman, SAVE Gadot's Wonderwoman, Keep Keaton's Batman, and focus on being better at LEADERSHIP, any good project starts with a good leader, and finishes with a good team!
...Furthermore, w/ 30+ yrs in film&TV production, the additional major solution (particularly with current talent strikes for what is fair & appropriate) is quite essentially cutting studio execs mega-million salaries in half. They'd still get all materialistic desires w/profit points, etc., & millions could instead get properly channeled where they belong, sharing the wealth for everyone else, likely with better results in higher quality projects🎬👌
Perhaps it can still be saved by having Berry in the wrong universe. Barry could make his way back to his original universe and that could usher Aflek, cavil and wonder woman back in their roles.
@@Sergeantgrunt ya I like that as long as Zack Snyder can learn that there are other colors that aren't black. I like Snyders vision from what I can see of it but he's a bit addicted to dark. That makes sense with batman but superman, wonder woman, etc can't all be dark as hell or you have no contrast. It's like watching a drama that has no breaks for levity, eventually the tension burns out your nerves and stops being effective. I like walking out of a theater feeling better than when I went in. I have enough darkness and drama in RL. I doubt I'm alone in that aspect. I go to see a movie to be transported, otherwise I'd just as soon watch it at home when I get around to it.
The ending made sense because of the spaghetti analogy. Barry interacted with his mother when he should have just removed the tinned tomatoes. However, given all the reshuffling they either should have kept the original ending to preserve the film and figure out the reboot switcheroony later. Or dropped a mid-credits scene altogether since the future slate is in flux.
Just finished watching a the Flash on Netflix 9 months after it’s release and came to YT for some more info on it. As to your point and question, having George Clooney rock up at the end was AWESOME!!! Because of not seeing him earlier and with Clooney being such a big deal, I honestly wasn’t expecting it. Loved the movie because it was genuinely funny. Sure the CGI got dodgy at times, but overall the movie delivered way better than I anticipated. It’s possibly the best modern live action DCEU movie.
I don't think the ending meant he was in the wrong universe. If you have watched the show it's the broken cup scenario. You can glue it back together but it is never quite right again. So different Batman, but clearly still knew barry, just a slight difference.
@@chamoo232 It is dead. After Aquaman 2, there will be zero DCEU movies. The only ones we'll get will be DCU, which technically began with Blue Beetle as Gunn stated that was set in his DCU.
We all want Henry and the rest of the cast to continue with new stories & better writing. There was nothing wrong with the cast except Miller who should be replaced by Grant Gustin.
that is the funny shit they get rid of everybody GUD but keep the bad one. Ezra was ok in his role but he is getting Kevin Spaceyed out of public eye hopefully. I dunno if Grant is big screen material but he was a super good tv show flash. Sometimes it just does not translate well to movies however.
I didn't mind the ending, it was clear; Barry traveled to the Batman and Robin universe and he will probably stay there so they can recast Ezra. The Momoa post credit scene also was bad but it established that he will be Aquaman for the next DCU universe. The movie didn't closed the possibility of the ZS justice league to reunite one day, of course if in the future they tackle the CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS story.
@@mattstansbeary3068 Didn't know that. In the movie Barry said that "in all of the universes all batman where different people but you where the same in all of them"... or something like that
When you give power to people who think they deserve it. I really did not expect them to destroy the ending like they did. That was Supergirl period. What a waste.
Super dissapointed by the clooney ending. I love george clooney, but that ending where batfleck was stuck in the mad max future and getting cavill back would have been awesome. So sad.
Yes, with the concept of time travel in the movie, if De Luca's ending were in that movie, there will be a future when fans going WILD after seeing that ending, the movie will have great success, an DCU's future will be even brighter!
the ending with Supergirl and michael keatons batman makes the most sense because now they can’t use them again in future projects unless Barry goes back to that time line
They can easily use supergirl again just say that in the bew universe its the same actress but her pod went off course witch is the story there doing for the new supergirl movie
No it doesn't, because they're dead. If anything there should have been a post-credit scene with Zod boasting that he won, and is there anyone left on this world to challenge him (like in _Superman II)._
De Luca and Abdy's ending was perfect. And yes James Gunn could've initiate a soft reboot by using DCEU characters which ignore some of the events from the previous movies. A Brave and The Bold movie starring Batfleck would be phenomenal and makes perfect sense. Along with Cavill's Superman soft reboot sequel featuring Lex Luthor and have Jesse Eisenberg revealed to be Lex's son instead.
@@Redrgon25 Its in batman vs superman. Maybe its only mentioned in the directors cut, but that character was always and is lex luthor jr. He mentions his father lex luthor.
There was no reason to not keep the Deluca ending, and simply see James Gunn's world as a different "spaghetti strand" lol . Snyderverse could have been left open to continue, and Gunn could have done whatever he wanted on his spaghetti, lol. To do this, when there is no reason to do it, is disrespectful.
Interesting how the execs at WB didn't like Zack Snyder's movies but they averaged making $700 million plus. Aquaman 1 and Wonder Woman 1 still had Zack all over it, those both made a billion. The new DC movies since Zack left haven't hit the same numbers. WE could of had the biggest super hero saga with Zack but WB ruined it. IMO, Love ya'll, even if you disagree. :)
I have a feeling that flash going back in time to change the tomato cans to the upper level caused everything to change. Probably the reason why we saw a different Batman, Bruce Wayne said something like “you step on the wrong blade of grass, you have no idea what the consequences of that could be”. By simply changing the tomato cans could have changed the lives of those the got the tomato cans from the original place they were located. Maybe some people couldn’t reach the can and therefore everything in their life went different. The future had some effect by the location of the tomatoes. His father would have lost the case if he didn’t change those cans.
...and then somebody after him moved a bag of potatoes... omg everything changed again, and the new Batgirl movie got released! And then somebody moved a box of poptarts-- world ends!
how would that make anything better ? @@zanixinaz you would need to bring Nolan w/ him . I just hope he would lose that stupid voice and go w/ a vocoder or talkbox like in the books and a few iterations in film.
Him placing the can back wrong did not effect Batman, Batman was born before Berry, it simply placed Barry on a different timeline. I like the ending we had.
They never got The Flash right...will never understand casting Ezra for that. Wonder Woman as well...find a noble and honorable American actress to play her. Keaton is the perfect Bruce/Batman. Henry is an ok Superman but to be honest I haven't seen Superman since Christopher Reeve. And we need someone like Laird Hamilton to play Aquaman. Get it together DC.
I felt sad for Supergirl and Keston's Batman, but I hope this ending was choosed to send Flash another time back in time to fix everything snd safe them both, I really hope so. I love Supergirl, so I would love to see more!
Respectfully, I didn’t like THIS supergirl. I like TV supergirl (I don’t know actors names). She was just too tomboy- didn’t work for me. There are so many female super hero’s, why not use one of those.
@@poohbear1647 I thought this supergirl was awesome. I thought she was way better and somehow hotter than the CW supergirl. This is supergirls actual personality. The CW supergirl was NOT comic supergirl, they made her girl superman when the real supergirl is anything but. The real supergirl is more stoic and broody than superman.thats how shes suppose to be.
@@vice2versa Oh definitely agree. CW's Supergirl was just the result of CW not being able to greenlight a Superman series at the time, so they just put Supergirl in place of what was obviously meant to be a Superman show. When CW Kara and Clark stood next to each other in their reporter outfits, they look less like cousins and more like alternate counterparts on one another because that's exactly what they were. This Supergirl is actually more accurate to what she is in the comics. She's not a goody goody boyscout like her cousin and is intended to be a more morally ambiguous character than him. Also can't agree enough that I love seeing Sasha's Supergirl and Keaton Batman and felt sad that both of them were destined to die by the Kryptonians in the film. Keeping my fingers crossed that both of them come back in a future movie.
This entire Universe...including all of the ones Barry travelled to are dead. This film was a send off...a good bye to all of it. Gunn (guardians of the galaxy) has taken control over DC so we can expect to see a new DC Universe unfold from scratch. All this old stuff is gone. Flash was it. And it was done well.
Really wish Cavill and Affleck were allowed to stay :( unfortunately the DCEU is irreparably damaged so i suppose the reboot is a great idea. And this is coming from someone who holds the DCEU near and dear and who loved the flash.
@@ДимчоДимов-ж7е as much as I'd really love to agree, Shazam and Flash (as of rn it could change) did/are flopping. And I think it's because of how disconnected and disjointed this universe has been for a while and the announcement of a reboot only solidified its death.
Saw it last night I enjoyed the Flash movie despite all of the bad press from Ezras antics I would have been nice if we didn't know about Keatons Batman in advance. He was great in this timeline absolutely loved Supergirl!! The fact that everyone died in this storyline made things better and raised the stakes much more. It gave a reason for Barry to go insane and try endlessly to fic the timeline sadly because of the studio and changes in direction, actors, etc , the movie got changed and we will not be able to have any further continuity. We have to look at this movie as a one off and not a part of a series. DCU cannot get back on track to save its life Another question, if Kryptonians are immune to conventional injury when they come here (bulletproof etc) How was Zod able to "stab" Kara? or use his gene code extracting device? in Man of Steel he had to put Clark in that Kryptonian atmosphere to take his blood
I'd love an Elseworld's movie with Sasha's Supergirl. She got like what a single day to get used to her powers? She was setup to lose to Zod and if she had actually won against Zod with no training it would have been worse in a way. Doesn't mean I wouldn't have liked to see her learn and then try to integrate into the world. Her declaration of "I'm a kryptonian" was kinda chilling. But Cavill has been a great Superman. And Affleck was good after a bit. This movie could have been a lot better. Too many cooks at the pot always kills a movie. Flashpoint was always the best concept, and they ruined the potential of it.
Since it was the wrong timeline and Clooney is there why not show Cavill and Sasha cameo as cousins and have a really happy ending where baby Kal-El and Sasha didn't have to die?
Abdy and Deluca was on the right path with keeping Cavill and Affleck and building on the current characters and finishing out the full arc. So now you have ruined all 4 movies this year since there is no pay off from any of these movies and characters. #DCUisDOA
The way time works in this movie is a actually pretty simple if you follow Wayne's instructions in the kitchen scene. Going back to change ANYTHING in the past sends a ripple into the future (what you changed) and backwards (what the universe changed to make up for the event that shouldn't of happened). This ripple that goes backwards goes ALL the way back, to the beginning of time, hence why you get completely different timelines (like Nick Cage superman lol). Barry, learning nothing throughout the movie decided to change the present AGAIN by saving his dad (since he couldn't bear to lose both his parents) by tampering with the shelving to put the tomatoes on top. So in this universe his father is freed, while in his original timeline his father likely goes away for a murder he didn't commit. I honestly don't think there is a way for him to even fix this issue, according to the movies' logic, any changes to the past creates a new universe (so essentially Barry is a God) with completely different histories. What I mean by this is even if he goes back to change the cans to their original places he might get another new universe, with Robert Pattinson as Batman! The director took the lesser of two evils by following the movies logic to a T, even if some of us don't like it (I thought it was a fun ending) and we'll see how the next movie sorts it out, or, whether it was just a fun way of wrapping up those actors by dumping them in an alternate reality where they can be plucked for cameos later on 😆
I am still hoping. I am still hoping we see the same actors play the characters again. They were so good as the characters and it felt like am awesome JL movie in the the first ten minutes of The Flash.
George Clooney at the end was meant to be a joke. A nod to the one time he was Batman. It wasn't meant for you to assume he was replacing Ben as Batman.
Exactly, people need to Lighten up! This was a Fun time this Film! If James Gunn was involved with this movie it's all news to me though. I just assumed this was produced by Snyder, and of course they had a new Director. He actually had an acting part in the movie, about to eat a Hot dog and it Blew away or something, or maybe Barry ate it! Lol
I love having Cavil as Superman. I really don't think they could have picked a better actor for him. That being said, I also feel as if the end of the movie WAS a piece of very quickly thrown together, not worth a shit trash that almost really screwed up the whole movie. The whole world was waiting for what was supposed to be an amazing movie and turned it into mediocre trash. I love the DC movie franchise, but really??? What were the directors thinking? Were they even really using their brains, or just trying to ruin it on purpose?
The ending was stupid we want Cavill and Affleck.

I would've like to have seen the original ending as well. But, the ending they gave made a strange sort of sense in saying that no matter how Barry thought he put things right, messing with time has consequences.
I agree

Sounds like Warner Bros in a nutshell. No matter how they think they made things right with every whacky move, they will always bear the consequences of screwing up the movie timelines and it has consequences.
ikr, thru his tinkering around with the timelines hes ended up in the Clooney Batverse lol
George Clooney is now the DCEUs Batman!
kind of apt for the mess the DCEU got it self into!
Basically this movie was a waste of time
Did anyone wait until the very end after all the end credits with the Ezra and Aquaman scene? Another waste of time!! lol

Zack Snyders work was not as poor as people treated it though.. Man of Steel to me was near perfection and the 2nd half of BvS made that movie pretty good in my book, The Justice league synder cut was really good...

He is Superman and always will be
Cavil sucks and that character wasn't even Superman.
We quite agree Bobby; perhaps he'll be brought back later as an older, grayed version from another Earth!
@@alphanerd7221What makes you say that? Who do you think would be a better superman?

Let's change this ending with AI. Sasha calle worths survivng. I have already had this idea, and would make this happen in my next video :)
SPOILERS:
I liked the cameo cavalcade anyway, but especially because the last third of the movie over all was disappointing (everybody helping Flash dies
and then EVERYBODY IN A UNIVERSE DIES, SEVERAL UNIVERSES?

I would have loved to see Keaton continue in some way and even Supergirl
even if they had Bale as Batman it would've been a better movie.
Now that woulda have been a good surprise if bale came out the car instead of clooney. That could get people excited for the next movie. But with Clooney not so much
Why didn't Michael Keaton Batman returned in the ending.

I second the fourth reply. I fancy a bit of both. 😎
Lol.
Agreed. I really love the Snyder Cut and it had me excited for potential of a live action Darkseid plot that will now never happen.
I loved it as well. Have watched it about 6 times.
Was the best dc movie to date
I loved Zack Snyders Justice League. It was the perfect setup for what he was planning to do with the Dc Universe. Very dark and thrilling
Stop hating Gunn is going to do much better than Snyder from the looks of it as he's shown he actually understands these characters

I agree. Reeves was the OG. I’m 47 and I still rewatch all those movies he was in. Still gives me goosebumps!
I'm just waiting for them to make Wonder Woman black / Batman transgender and Superman is God only knows what these woke idiots will come up with
How about a real cliffhanger of a climax with the Flash going to Wayne Manor, that was being set up as a Hall of Justice in one of the movies, Barry opening the doors, and seeing a number of heroes from the different universes in their costumes. CGI the heroes that have passes but could you imagine every DC hero, including the oes from the Arrowverse! Would be quite a shot! Unite the universes and then you could take the films in any direction you wanted, TV, animated, or movies.

You are obviously bot working for Gunn….on behalf of DC fans; fuck James Gunn…
I could have used another minute with Clooney, showing a more personable, friendly Batman, maybe throwing a party for Barry and his dad, with Batgirl and Robin (and others?) showing up.
But whys clooneys Batman? Dreadful.
@skillcoiler how about just go fuq off, and enjoy your flour flavored marvel
Spot on. Egos get in the way and people just have to stamp all over someone else's work. It has ruined many movies and franchises before now.

Lex Luthor IS President!
I knew I was watching a Dead Universe die and so had zero expectations of anything following this film.
Our Movie News never misses
Thanks
You make many good points.
My "two cents":
In addition:
Speaking of Keaton’s Batmobile, I was VERY disappointed that he didn’t use it in The Flash. Missed opportunity for us old time fans from the 80’s.
🌠4. Calle is magnificent & deserves many more appearances/ sequels🎬
I agree
...Furthermore, w/ 30+ yrs in film&TV production, the additional major solution (particularly with current talent strikes for what is fair & appropriate) is quite essentially cutting studio execs mega-million salaries in half. They'd still get all materialistic desires w/profit points, etc., & millions could instead get properly channeled where they belong, sharing the wealth for everyone else, likely with better results in higher quality projects🎬👌
Good post. Only thing I have to say is good leadership with a stupid plan is still a stupid plan.
For me, I didn't know there were other endings out there. The ending we got did feel strange and unexpected.
James Gunn & WB have ruined DC like Disney ruined SW
Star Wars was ruined way before Lucas sold it to Disney!
Perhaps it can still be saved by having Berry in the wrong universe. Barry could make his way back to his original universe and that could usher Aflek, cavil and wonder woman back in their roles.
That would be the best option with one last thing. Gunn and Safran fired and Zack Snyder installed as the head of DC!
I got a better chance of winning the lotto then that happening no disrespect just letting you know that the odds are Slim
Don’t think cavil can return as Superman if I heard right
they already have a new guy to replace henry as superman so i dont think henry will be superman again. I hope im wrong though
I am 2:39 into the video and if I hear another "this was not the original plan" one more time, I will scream.
Well put
That still doesn't mean we should have got that ending.
this means the next flash movie will revive clooney's batman. Oh my gah please kill me now
@@rockyou9967 You really think there is a next flash movie? The DCEU seems dead to me.
Are you sure. I really don't think that he will. All it said was my movie Next after this not I will be Aquaman in DCU.
@@mattstansbeary3068 Didn't know that. In the movie Barry said that "in all of the universes all batman where different people but you where the same in all of them"... or something like that
At this point, I really don't care much about the DCU, if James Gunn gives us a great Superman movie then probably ill come back
I like them both. However, Henry Cavil brings me nostalgia, maybe him as Superman for like 10 minutes of the movie should've been the correct call.
So sad.
God, hearing their original plans to make Supergirl and Batgirl replace the main duo by Hamada makes me sick to my stomach. So goddamn stupid.
Facts
Christopher Reeves and H. Cavill were born for the role.
All i wanna say, if those scenes where filmed, there's a chance we might see it in the future
Hopefully they'll be on the Blu-ray. Or at least the Deluca one
@@genericyoutubechannel3790 For realz
Yes, with the concept of time travel in the movie, if De Luca's ending were in that movie, there will be a future when fans going WILD after seeing that ending, the movie will have great success, an DCU's future will be even brighter!
the ending with Supergirl and michael keatons batman makes the most sense because now they can’t use them again in future projects unless Barry goes back to that time line
They can easily use supergirl again just say that in the bew universe its the same actress but her pod went off course witch is the story there doing for the new supergirl movie
They can still have Supergirl in a different universe to make a movie out of. There's so many possibilities in the multiverse.
HUH. Its already established hes lex luthors son. In cannon of snyders vision of his DCEU. lol.
@@richg4011 When in which DCEU movies did that happen? Off screen?
@@Redrgon25 Its in batman vs superman. Maybe its only mentioned in the directors cut, but that character was always and is lex luthor jr. He mentions his father lex luthor.
@@richg4011 Thank you. May have to go back & rewatch it.
@@richg4011the amount of times I've said it to be called a bullshitter, is unreal - he wasn't called Alexander Luthor in the beginning for no reason
Yes. We get it. You didn't like the ending. Ranty rant is ranty.
Abdy and De Luca's endings are the only ones that made sense and kept the universe intact. They are who should be running DC Studios.
Deluca and Zaslav hired Gunn😊
@@TheFunnyGuy9000yeah and? He still should stayed, they couldn’t have known Safran & Gunn would have done that…
@@adamduarte895 At least Deluca doesn’t treat Snyder like a saint 😉
@@TheFunnyGuy9000 Gunn has said himself, that Safron was who convinced him to take the job.
@@Arlington20082 You should say fire zaslav not fire Gunn
Why the studio hate Henry Cahill so much?!
I want to see the Henry Cavill ending for the flash #HenryCavillIsSuperman #MakeManOfSteel2
Come on guys # release the original ending to The Flash movie
I have a feeling that flash going back in time to change the tomato cans to the upper level caused everything to change. Probably the reason why we saw a different Batman, Bruce Wayne said something like “you step on the wrong blade of grass, you have no idea what the consequences of that could be”. By simply changing the tomato cans could have changed the lives of those the got the tomato cans from the original place they were located. Maybe some people couldn’t reach the can and therefore everything in their life went different. The future had some effect by the location of the tomatoes. His father would have lost the case if he didn’t change those cans.
All this mayhem caused by a can of tomatoes.. tomatos...tomaters whatever i give up
...and then somebody after him moved a bag of potatoes... omg everything changed again, and the new Batgirl movie got released! And then somebody moved a box of poptarts-- world ends!
@@angelarch5352 I know right, I love DC but the producers really know how to mess everything up. We need Christian Bale back.
how would that make anything better ?
@@poohbear1647 Melissa Benoist and yeah, she was way better cast for supergirl than this mexican girl.
It's not irreparbly.
@@ДимчоДимов-ж7е as much as I'd really love to agree, Shazam and Flash (as of rn it could change) did/are flopping. And I think it's because of how disconnected and disjointed this universe has been for a while and the announcement of a reboot only solidified its death.
Saw it last night
I enjoyed the Flash movie despite all of the bad press from Ezras antics
I would have been nice if we didn't know about Keatons Batman in advance. He was great in this timeline
absolutely loved Supergirl!!
The fact that everyone died in this storyline made things better and raised the stakes much more. It gave a reason for Barry to go insane and try endlessly to fic the timeline
sadly because of the studio and changes in direction, actors, etc , the movie got changed and we will not be able to have any further continuity. We have to look at this movie as a one off and not a part of a series. DCU cannot get back on track to save its life
Another question, if Kryptonians are immune to conventional injury when they come here (bulletproof etc) How was Zod able to "stab" Kara? or use his gene code extracting device? in Man of Steel he had to put Clark in that Kryptonian atmosphere to take his blood
They should've stuck with story that run off with batman VS superman . Flash was so confusing ,not follow the story .
When did Affleck say he wanted to continue playing Batman in a recent podcast?
Abdy and Deluca was on the right path with keeping Cavill and Affleck and building on the current characters and finishing out the full arc. So now you have ruined all 4 movies this year since there is no pay off from any of these movies and characters. #DCUisDOA
No Cavill Superman, no Superman!!! DC is done!
I still dont understand what gunn meant by how this film resets the entire dc universe
The director took the lesser of two evils by following the movies logic to a T, even if some of us don't like it (I thought it was a fun ending) and we'll see how the next movie sorts it out, or, whether it was just a fun way of wrapping up those actors by dumping them in an alternate reality where they can be plucked for cameos later on 😆
I think Ben Affleck is very good in the role of Batman
Wow , after watching this, they really ruined the ending -- big time 😢
I am still hoping. I am still hoping we see the same actors play the characters again. They were so good as the characters and it felt like am awesome JL movie in the the first ten minutes of The Flash.
Yes, we also have high hopes that the DC Universe will have the chance to deploy its full potential!
They better have it on the blu ray
George Clooney at the end was meant to be a joke. A nod to the one time he was Batman. It wasn't meant for you to assume he was replacing Ben as Batman.
I want more Clooney Batman
I want to see Bat credit card again 😜
Getting rid of those actors was a huge mistake.

Its wrong to remove HC as Superman. All you need are good writers. The perfect actor is already there. Hope Henry gets the last laugh.
He won’t
I also loved Henry as Superman 💎
This movie was a lot of fun to me. Everyone did a great job in this. The ending was a hilarious gag for nostalgia.
Lol
I agree completely.
