I think Vedveer Arya has the most accurate chronology & dates for the Indic past. He has dated end of Treta Yuga around 6800 years ago based on astronomical data. Ram Setu is also dated around 7000 years ago. Mahabharata is dated a little over 5000 years ago. So I think events of Ramayana happened around 7000 years ago.

I was so excited to watch this video when I saw that it would feature a woman scholar's perspective on the Ramayana, which I was feeling desperate to learn from after watching so many videos by men! while the host seems passionate about the topic, and apparently the two are friends, when his guest was speaking he seemed disinterested in what she had to say. watching him look down at his screen/ keyboard (looks like he is typing his own thoughts while she speaks), was very distracting to me as a viewer. practicing non-verbal cues that convey interest such as eye contact, nodding, and engaged facial expression shows value for the one who is speaking, and invites viewers to also be interested and engaged. then when it comes to the subject of misogyny, which I was most interested to hear the guest talk about, the host talks over his guest, shutting her down so that he dominates with his voice to push through his point, while silencing her! I can't keep watching! I have reached my limit of patriarchy today! I am sure the host is a thoughtful man, and I acknowledge that I am reacting to far more than this one particular video. Many scholars have stated over and over again that uttarakand(both good and bad parts of it) is not a part of original Ramayan based on many evidences.

I was so excited to watch this video when I saw that it would feature a woman scholar's perspective on the Ramayana, which I was feeling desperate to learn from after watching so many videos by men! while the host seems passionate about the topic, and apparently the two are friends, when his guest was speaking he seemed disinterested in what she had to say. watching him look down at his screen/ keyboard (looks like he is typing his own thoughts while she speaks), was very distracting to me as a viewer. practicing non-verbal cues that convey interest such as eye contact, nodding, and engaged facial expression shows value for the one who is speaking, and invites viewers to also be interested and engaged.
then when it comes to the subject of misogyny, which I was most interested to hear the guest talk about, the host talks over his guest, shutting her down so that he dominates with his voice to push through his point, while silencing her! I can't keep watching! I have reached my limit of patriarchy today! I am sure the host is a thoughtful man, and I acknowledge that I am reacting to far more than this one particular video.

On Pushpak Viman design, I will put a question, Lets say someone writes diary, & in that he writes about his First flight in life. Do u expect him to write technical details of Aeroplane in that diary writing about his first flight ?? Ramayan is a Historical Text on Bhagwan Ram's life and its not a technical book about Vimans. For the design details about ancient Vimans a separate ancient text of Vaimanika Shastra by Rishi Bhardwaj was there after reading which Shri Talpade invented first flying device at the end of 19th Century. So definitely in Ramayan Pushpak Viman was there or else how do you expect Ravan to abduct Sita and take her across the ocean in such a short duration.

This video is a prime example of the massive idealogical rift between a believer and a non believer.
Half of the comments are literally crying cuz kushal has reached the conclusion that the ramayana(parts) are not historical.
Clearly you haven't got the gist of what he was doing or you are deliberately ignoring it what he has done here.
Problem isn't with believer or non believer, problem is Kushal behaviour change and he isn't letting the guest speaking. This behaviour is quite common with many atheist, they are very respectful when they criticize other religions, but when it comes to Hinduism, they got a complete free pass.
When kushal talk about casteism with some guest he is all ears and listen with such passion but when someone talk about something positive about hinduism, he just doesn't want them to speak.
