Its actually the opposite. Family feuds have only increased since people have started keeping mahabharata out of their homes. Those who read it actually get to learn the lessons and avoid family feud situations.
Thanks for brining this inspiring talk/interview. Ami-ji certainly makes good points. Reading mahabharata in a non-judgmental way is the first step. This would then lead to inspiring one to lead a clean life, a yogic lifestyle, developing the dharmic wisdom so necessary to deal with dharma-sankat as put forth so nicely by Ami-ji. Life is neither fair nor unfair, it is what it is. With respect for nature and all life, one will accept the outcomes naturally. The scientific process is unfortunately understood to be used for only certain disciplines that have materialistic gains, but the shastra is clear that the scientific process was and should be pervasive across everything we do, particularly for the purushartha leading to the breaking of the cycle of samsara.

Suggest a book on complete Mahabharata which is easy to understand and at the same time books that need to be avoided with false narratives like that of Patnaik.

Nagaloka has reference in mahabharat..like kunti was from nagalok, arjun marry girl from nagalok, krishna arjun killed too many nagas to establish khandav to indrapeastha, jaanmajay killed too many nagas where mahabharat first recited...any important exact location of nagas loka in mahabharat

Mahabharat even the original composition by Veda Vyasa must be the composition of many authors. It covers storey going back to Urvashi Pururva mentioned in Rigveda. Same Vedvyasa who divided Vedas into four!Admitted material is old but sanskrit language is mostly classical with numerous words of Dravidian origin. Even word Hidamba sounds Telugu to me!! It's final composition upto Pandavas going to heaven via Himalayas must have been of Gupta period! And add later story recited to Janmejaya by Vaishampayan! Original composition was decatated by Vedavyasa to Sri Ganeshji!
Dear viewers, after reading my opinion don’t compare the Morality with the Skill. Both are completely different things. All the following incidents are described here on the basis of ‘Skill’ only. 1. Arjun was defeated 3 times & reached almost near to death situation by Karn on 17th day as these :- A. Karna cut Gandiv’s strings 11 times, but Gandivs had 100 strings , it means if Gandiv had only one string then Arjun was killed by Karn for next ten times. But no need of ten times, Arjun had only one head and only because of 100 strings in Gandiv Arjun was survived. Obviously it was defeating of Arjuna. B. Arjun was failure to measure tha ‘Nagastra’ of Karna so Krishna saved him. It was sure deed of Arjun. Obviously it was 100% defeating of Arjuna. C. Arjun was failure to protect himself from Karna’s last special ‘Bayabia (wind) Arrow’ and he became senseless then Gandiv was fallen from his hand. Karna watched all, he became merciful to Arjuna and left his own Bijay Dhanusa and started to lift his chariot wheel. Obviously it was 100% defeating of Arjuna. 2. Arjun always used to go through 7 Divine advantages as : (A). Divine Dhanus. (B). Divine Akshay Tunir, (C). Divine Sarathi (Krishna), (D). Divine Dhwaja Dhari & Protector ( Hanuman Ji ), (E). Divine chariot, (F) Divine Boon ( By Lord Shiva ), (G) Divine Kabach ( Brambha Kabach). But Karn Only had a Divine Dhanus, and he used it only on 17th day and the end of the last fight : Arjun defeated and became senseless by Karna’s arrow and after seeing it Karna put his Dhanus on ground and started to pick up the wheel of his chariot. 3. On 13th day Abhimanyu had two special Divine advantages. A. Almost Unbreakable divine ‘Kabach’ , & B. Rudra dhanus. But Karn broke Abhimanyu’s Dhanus by using his ordinary Bow to bring equality. Without two Divine advantages Abhimanyu was LESS THAN KARN and he never tried to face with Karn before that day. Both have proofs. If anyone wants then I can give it from Bori edition, KMG & Gita Press. 4. On the day of Gandharva fight , Karn killed thousands of Gandharva without his Vijay Dhanus & even he was drunk. It was made an easy situation for Arjun to defeat the rest of Gandhava. So at least 50 % credit about wining on Gandharva goes to KARNA. after few years later Karna again win on Gandharva in “Digbijoy Yatra’. 5. Ghatotkach was defeated by Karn 2 times, then he started to hiding himself again & again but at last he was killed by Karn - all have proofs. Obviously Ghatotkach gifted the life to Arjun by his own death. 6. Bheem was defeated by Karn for 5 times, among them two was in duet fight & next 3 were - 1 vs 14 Rathi / Maharathi fight,where Karn was alone, and in Bheem’s team there were more than 14 rathi /maharathi including Satyaki, Dristhadumna, Nakul, Sahadeb, Yudhisthir, Sikhandi Uttamauja, Yudhamannu, and others - but all were defeated by Karn. 7. Satyaki defeated by Karn 3 times when Satyaki was with his Pandav team ( 14 Rathi/ Maharathi including Bheem) - but all were defeated. 8. At the day of Jaydrath badh Arjun, Bheem & Satyaki were fighting jointly with Alone Karn but they were not ableing to win, however Arjun was using his Gandiv but Karn was using an ordinary bow because according to Mahavarat Karn used Vijay Dhanus only at 17th day. At last Arjun killed Karn’s Sarathi & Horses so Karn left his chariot, however nobody could kill Arjun’s Sarathi ( Krishna ) & Horses because both had divine power, so actually Arjun, Bheem & Satyaki jointly were not won in that day against Karn. 9. In Birat fight, first of all Arjun prayed to lord Hanuman to come in his chariot to make the protection shield and in that fight Arjun was in female’s form by which the whole fight was effected and specially for KARNA obviously who would never apply his actual power against the person who was carrying a female character and female dresses. 10. No result came on the conflict between Karn & Arjun in Draupadi Syambar at last. Nobody win & nobody defeat at the end, neither Karn nor the Arjun was gain or loss by this fight, no body’s Bow was cut by the opponent and nobody was hurt at the end by the opponent in this fight according to Bori Critical, KMG & Gitapress. However Arjun started the fight by hurting Karn with 3 arrows when Karn was just coming for fight but then Karn came & stood in front of Arjun and started to give answers & the result was absolutely draw. But according to Veel Mahavarat - Karna won the battle against Arjuna in Draupadi Syambar and Krishna saved Arjuna at last by his speech therapy. Friends if I am wrong and different from VasDev Mahavarat, then show me the real from VasDev Mahavarat please. I am also requesting & challenging both to Ami Ganatra if she has answers against my above points.
drona refused to give brahma weapon to karna because he was partial towards arjuna !!!!!! and he said only kshatriya and brahman deserve brahmastra nowhere it is mentioned that karna was not capable to hold the weapon karna was jealous same as arjuna was of eklavya they were kids only , it was natural correct me if I am wrong

@Abhinandan Zambare Mahabharata is a fiction mixed up with some historical facts. There are so many descriptions that cannot be real. Story of Gandhari giving birth to 100 sons and so many more can be understood only as fiction not as a fact.

When people don't understand something they prefer to call it myth and move away. But that doesn't changes the fact that Mahabharata is the glorious history of Bharatvarsh. Thousands of proofs are there. See we have found Krishna's Dwarka as well exactly in the same state as written by ved Vyas ji.
