Thanks Darcy!! We are pretty stoked to have found one as its literally impossible to buy square back canoes for a reasonable price these days! And you bet! We already have the seats, rod holders, go pro mounts all installed and ready to rock!
If you can see them ,they can see you...what I've done when sight fishing is back off and fish the place where I saw them ...also in water that clear try using something with natural colors and downsize your bait a little , finesse fishing works best in those condition a lot of times....I have the same scanoe, have a 2.6 coleman outboard to go on the back...love it
Literally mt most favorite place to camp and fish ever! Love that lake. The key to those are a leech kn a hook with a bobber. Also, the bass out by the logs and away from the edge are like impossible to get lol Congrats on the new canoe guys!! :) love your videos!
Its one of ours as well! The water is insane and I love how you can see everything thats going on below the boat. We agree though, the bass are so challenging to actually catch. They're just too darn smart! We never did try a leech and bobber though (we literally just tried everything else haha) but next time we will have to give it a go!
@@lakespondspuddles3054 usually you can throw a leech and bobber in and if they don't get it within 5 seconds, they won't bite and have to recast. Those little guys are super fun haha but duck lake seems like the way to go for decent bass!
I bought matching canoes and then made a bracket to connect them to each other kind of like a catamaran. It's great, I put a trolling motor on the bracket and it's impossible to flip and easy to get around in.
That sounds so wicked! We have a six month old baby now and are trying to find a safe way to take her out rather than just in our canoe. Thinking of either upgrading to a bigger boat or buying outriggers for our current canoe!
@@lakespondspuddles3054 Yeah, I started out looking into making outriggers and then came to the conclusion that I might as well just get two canoes and attach them to give me the stability.
I liked the music. What was it if you know? I also liked the underwater video of the fish. Did you use a Go Pro? I just bought a Scanoe myself. I haven't made it onto the water yet. Good to know you think a trolling motor with a 36" shaft is the right choice. That's what I was thinking, and I'm currently shopping for one.
congratulation on your new canoe.
Wow!! Those look great!! Good job you guys. Canoes are awesome 👏🏽
Will you be able to screw in those seat thingys you made?!?

Sweet! I am so happy for you guys.
Thank you!!! We are so pumped we were able to find a new one in such a short amount of time :) Ready to hit the water again this weekend!

"Persephone" is a Legendary name!
Glad you found one. I have one and really like mine
Have you installed any track systems on the rail/gunnels? I wonder if drilling holes into the aluminum rail would weaken the boat substantially.
2 suggestions for canoe names:
1. Shameless Hooker
2. Zombies Can't Swim
David Barton 😂😂 too good!
I think the boat should be called " The Greenback Greaser"
LOL!! Yassss haha! It's funny because we literally went from one green boat to another!
Spring fed lake...
You must be in Canada, because Americans don't speak metric! Have a great day!
You betcha!! Canadians through and through haha
