I hope it is something of an alternate dimension type thing because that's something we've not really had before in Dragon Ball beyond maybe Future Trunks.
Let the alternate dimension stories begin. DBZ added a ton of Outer Space to Dragon Balls magical legendary journey, so why not bomb the canon with another genre like before if it adds more super powerful enemies to fight?

I'm disappointed that there is a character who looks like Beerus but isn't Beerus. Does DBZ still need a god character watching from a tower or was someone else in that position at the time? I cannot recall. Also, Gohan being docile won't bother me if Pan replaces him. I would like to see someone be the strategist fighter, and Gohan can very much be the person who thinks of strategy and doesn't always want to power up and fight head on.
