I can appreciate an author who thinks "what devices have people not yet used to write about this subject for the thousandth time" and creates something that feels very original.
I love action adventure stories written by women. They almost always have more heart and character development, while still being just as awesome.
Have to correct you on one thing: there is a meaning behind Alphose's name. Since his name is often shortened to Al, which in Japanese is pronounced Aru, which means "To Exist". But Aru is only used for objects, as opposed to living beings
FMA Brotherhood is the best anime of all time!!!
I won't lie, I liked what they did with Scar and Lust in the 2003 version.

I think FMA and FMA:B are both great for different reasons, and I don't really have a favourite.
I always thought Hiromu Arakawa was the J.K Rowling of manga and anime.

the first time i watched fma 03 way back, it shocked me with nina fusing with alexander and with hughes' death. maybe bec i was younger then that it scarred me a little and prevented me from watching brotherhood until today. but im really glad i did bec i would have missed one of the best anime ever made
Thank you so much for featuring the 2003 series. It's so sad that it gets unfairly overshadowed by Brotherhood.
2003 is criminally underrated, compared to Brotherhood.

I do love Fullmetal Classic just a bit more. Christ, it's my 2nd favorite anime

Saw the 03 version when I was smaller, prior experience to anime was only about Doraemon or One Piece, some bits scared the crap out of me, left a way deeper impact.
Such an awesome channel. Sad that you guys aren't making anymore videos.
In all honesty, I think both series were amazing to watch but I really prefer the Brotherhood anime. I saw that first and that's what I was most familiar with. I didn't like how depressing the 2003 version was.
