I turn 57 this week and I have loved this man since I was 15. A beautiful star that burned out way too soon. Thank you for the soundtrack to my life, George. ❤️💔
I wish i could thank this man personally for helping and making me feel ok with my sexuality and this song was the final straw! Him and his music has freed me so much and I can’t thank him enough for it! As a 23 year old man he’s the the first original pop star! He lived his life the way he wanted no apology and no regrets! I’m sure he helped so many people when he was alive and we hear about his charitable contributions that he wanted kept quiet. I will always remember you George was a fan before your passing and got heavily into your music sometimes last year and that was that I was free! I hope others can feel the same, how I live my life I don’t force it on anyone and I won’t force my views onto anyone as no one should. Thank you again George and I wish you were still here making incredible music for your fans you gave life and your work everything! Hope your resting easy Mr George Michael ❤

"look who's talking guilty feet now" - brilliant lyric! He looked really good here. The shots without his shades are great - he had such beautiful eyes. I was always struck how even as he turned 40 he talked about being "old" - he seemed to feel his 40s were old while so many others (including many of us) were still not feeling much older. I always thought of him as a sensitive and very old soul - felt so much, hurt so much, did so much for so many people - just a generous incredibly self-aware and aware of the world which can be such a blessing and a curse. He is so missed....

There are great singers out there, but they are always looking for that great song, that great producer, that great music, etc. Not George Michael, he did it all on his own, wrote, sang, produced and did the musical instruments and did it HIS way. I'm 71, I'll never see another George Michael in my lifetime. My daughter got me hooked, she listened to WHAM, 24/7, drove me nuts, but then I started to listen to George's voice and really loved it. I still listen to him everyday.

The Governor! Definitely in top 10 UK artists of all time. His music will be played for decades to come. The people who make comments about him being gay have issues. Who cares what he did sexually, that's his business. Apart from an indiscretion or two he was a private person and never rattled on about gay stuff or put on a gay act/voice/walk/smutty talk like so many do. A gifted gentleman who gave so much of his money away but didn't want anyone to know or give him recognition for it.

I have loved George Michael since the 80s. In the US, I feel like there’s so much music I never heard. I just found this song for the first time. Pleasantly surprised to hear what for me is a new one after all this time. Same with Amazing. I never heard it before this summer. It’s exciting to rediscover George Michael but sad that US music industry didn’t highlight these fabulous songs back in the day. May light everlasting shine upon you George. Isn't he incredible?!! I just rediscovered him a couple of years ago while recovering from Breast cancer and now I'm a die-hard fan too. I cried my eyes out at the RRHOF Induction last week and was so thrilled to see Andrew present the Award!! George was the greatest singer and songwriter of all time in my opinion and such a beautiful soul. He inspires me daily and he left us way, way too soon!! Glad you found him again too.

LisaMann he did not hate it all if you listen to his later interviews he said WHAM! was the best time of his life and Blast and he made peace with Faith he was just overwhelmed at the time being alone for the first time without Andrew the really only thing he hated was the media lies which still make him out to be this said depressed never happy man he hated that hehad pain same as we do he lost people he loved but he also had happy times specially when he died he was looking to the holiday with friends and family sadly he died in his sleep of an illness he may not have even known about atleast I hope not it is a rare condition with sometimes very little symptoms probably triggered by that Pneumonia years ago
