Very nice! Not surprised as I’m sure dealers are cutting prices to make room for the new 3 model. I have the 2 and really like it. It’s wonderful to be able to pull up the chin guard when stopping at lights on hot Texas days.
Excellent video and what a surprise! I currently have a Schulbert CP3 helmet that I have had for years. I am thinking about getting a new helmet and I have been cross shopping a CP 5 with the Neotec 3, as those 2 helmets are viewed as some of the top modular helmets. So why did you select the Neotec 2 over another modular brand such as Schulbert? And would you get the Neotec 3 to replace your 2? How long have you had your helmet? And is it worth it to get the Neotec 3 over the 2 because there might be some discounts on the 2. Thanks
As always, Thank you for checking out my videos. At this point, I would not get the NeoTec 3 because I would have to buy a new Sena SRL mesh. The current Sena I have will not fit in the new NeoTec 3. I’ll wait for a couple years before I switch helmets.
Thank you kindly for checking out the video and commenting I appreciate it. They are pricey helmets, but very good quality and seem to fit my head shape better than others I tried.
Seems like they are focused on the wrong things with gheir modular helmet. Why isnt is ECE certified? Only DOT is a joke for $900+. A half helmet is DOT certified.... makes me wonder how well this helmet will actually protect you in the event of a crash. I also wonder why Shoei doesn't have something similar to MIPS.
Guess they are weighing costs involved in certifications that aren’t mandatory. In every industry there are sometimes mandatory ones as well as third party ones all having various costs and marketing benefits. My industry of food and nutrition have so many certifications most are there for marketing benefits.
@@Texas2Tires Shoei’s 3M mount is a super solid mount. I have several Shoei’s (X2, RF1400 and this newest Neotec 3). All are 3M mounted. Clean fitment. No clips for me on nice paint. I only rock Cardo’s too. For me Shoei’s just fit best. Money is not an issue when protecting my brain.
I just bought a Neotec 2 over 20% off. Great deal and the helmet is awesome. Quiet comfortable sick graphics

Great video. Just a dot at that price point is still crazy to me

I’m confused. My Shoei is ECE certified and I thought the Neo3 was ECE 22.06 🤔
:vomit:
I can't believe they're still trying to force their custom mesh comms unit by further forcing clamp mounts towards the back.
That’s hard to swallow. I’d like to get one but that means the $300+ I spend on the previous SRL Mesh is useless.
