Both of these trailers were created solely by Monty Oum, the creator and former lead animator. The red trailer was Monty's proof-of-concept for getting the show greenlit. They had a very small budget and team at first, so the animation in the first volume isn't exactly top-tier, but they improved a lot with every volume. The fight scenes are always on point though, as well as the music.
You may find that there's a small yet very vocal group of RWBY-haters out there, particularly people that condemn the showrunners for daring to continue after Monty's passing. More people would love to see you react to it than not, I'm sure.
Also, a lot of reactors miss it, but in the white trailer, the fight is actually a flashback that she's experiencing while she's singing. You can see the blood on her face become a scar as it turns back into the present at the end.
Lastly, the most important takeaway from this show -- everything is also a gun.
Can I just say how much I appreciate that you were ok with showing how much Weiss's song moved you

Monty made the first pair by himself as proof of concept. RT picked it up, hence the voicework, extra characters and plot hints in the second pair.

Taqiyu Kenji personally I don’t find it boring yes it has slowed down quite a bit and there aren’t as many fight screams but hopefully the plot develops well for season 8

Some people probably didn't want you to do it because of how many feel on volumes 4 and up. But if you like it a lot you should get into it and judge for yourself! It's pretty unanimous that the Red, White, Black and Yellow trailers are amazing.
1 thing you should know about rwby: EVERYTHING is a gun.
Myrtenaster tho… it may have a revolver barrel in the hilt, but it’s actually a sword that uses Dust to cast magic.

I can agree, the fandom overall isn't that great BUT not all of it is like that. The show has its problems but I still love it. I swear though, some people act like RT is a spawn from hell, they're doing the best they can.

Welcome to RWBY (pronounced like the colour/name/mineral "Ruby".), an anime-inspired 3d animated series produced by RoosterTeeeth, masterminded by the late Monty Oum with help from Miles and Kerry of RT.
Featuring awesome fights, badass weapons, cool characters, and a banging soundtrack mostly created by the father-daughter duo of Jeff and Casey Williams.
Pretty much all of the characters are in some way inspired by or based off of characters from fairy-tales, legends, literature, history etc. Some more loosely than others. It's fun seeing people figure out who's who.
This girl in a red hood fighting these wolf-looking beasts should be fairly easy to figure out what she's from. Wielding Crescent Rose, her scythe/sniper rifle, _Ruby Rose_ is the "main"" character of the show.
This first trailer was entirely animated by Monty himself.
_Weiss Schnee_ , if you know any German, along with the repitition of "mirror" in the song, should be another easy one. She does not in fact have Ice powers: Myrtenaster, her sword with a gun barrel, is capable of storing Dust, basically elemental power in crystal (or powder) form. Do not get this confused with magic; It basically is, but for the purpose of the series, it's definitely not.
Last note: Beware diving too deep into this show's fandom, or FNDM as many refer to it. It's... a complicated place. The comments below this very video likely consists of people arguing about the current quality of the series after a certain point, with a portion being about shipping.

For the rwby show the first 3 and volume 6 are good for me, but i will watch you react to every season if you do and enjoy the way you do it. :D
Even if you don't reach the like goal I think you should watch this show it is very awesome. Also every character is based on some fictional or historical legend or character. Ruby is Red Riding Hood. The fighting, the music is one of the most acclaimed things about. The show that you have to pay attention to most every little thing comes back in the end.

This is late at this point, but I think the idea is really just that people like to see a video dedicated to the openings on their own, especially if you want to cut the openings from the actual reactions for copyright reasons. That being said, I personally think it’s better to skip the openings entirely when watching for the first time and do the “all openings” reaction when you catch up.
That being said, there ARE a few shows where I can see this request making sense: RWBY, for example, and, I don’t know, let’s say Food Wars. With RWBY, I think there are certain spoilers in the openings, but when watched out of context, they really do not mean anything. The openings for RWBY are a pretty good way to show the person in question that the animation really DOES get better. I know some people also get impatient and would rather see a reaction to their favorite opening before a reactor gets bored and drops a show. Food Wars is another one Incan think of off the top of my head. I know the show’s reputation as a fan-service delivery service proceeds it so the openings are a pretty good way to show that Food Wars really IS about the food.
Still, I don’t really understand it either.
Rakoon Shampoo this is also late, but I wanted to mention the point that with RWBY after volume 3 there are spoilers even without context, which is where that problem comes in.

Are there? I feel like it is hard to judge what can be considered a spoiler when you’ve already seen the media in question. I mean, I like to play it safe and not say anything, but I tend to think the RWBY openings are pretty harmless as far as openings go in terms of experience-ruining spoilers. Having just come from a long discussion about which order to watch the Fate animes in, I’ve found that it is very easy to see certain information as an experience-ruining spoiler when you’ve already seen the media in question. Of course, it’s safer to say nothing at all, but in general the type of spoilers you get from an opening are not the same type of spoilers you get from some guy on the internet telling you what’s going to happen.
When you watch an opening blindly, the only things that tend to make any impact is the music, the animation, a few character designs, and the general premise of the show. Any specifics don’t tend to stay in your memory. There definitely are lots of spoilers in the openings, but not all spoilers are created equal. The spoilers in the openings are kind of irrelevant to the viewing experience. There’s no reason to watch the openings, but there really isn’t much reason not to.
I really dislike a lot of the terminology that is used in anime communities in general. ‘Filler’ is probably the worst offender in that regard, but ‘spoiler’ gets thrown around a lot as well. The question with spoilers shouldn’t be “what information do I have now that I didn’t have before?” It should be “How/why is knowing this going to make my viewing experience worse?” A spoiler is only bad when it makes the viewing experience worse. If it takes tension out of an otherwise dramatic scene, that’s bad. If it ruins a plot twist, that’s also bad. Simply revealing information that’s going to be revealed anyway IS a spoiler, but it doesn’t really hurt the viewer’s experience with the show.
This all being said, I don’t endorse any hinting at or spoiling of any content to new viewers.
TL;DR - Watching Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works first does not ruin Fate/Zero. :P

Lastly, I'd say watch it up till like... season 5 or 6 maybe? But up until 'The Grim Reaper' is part of the show (Literally, they'll call that person the grim reaper, you'll understand.) Afterward, though, it gets bad. Even still Season 5 and 6 can be hardly defended. Seasons 1 to 4 are like.... defendable and understandable.
RWBY first 3 seasons are good after that it kind of nose dives for me but hey maybe you'll like better than I did

You know it's been such a long time since I've seen these trailers, and man are they great. Just wish RWBY reached this quality in the later seasons. RWBY has gone from a show that was beloved during the first 3 volumes and then started to lose it's charm during the rest of the volumes, with Volume 5 being the most detested for many.
The main man behind RWBY was Monty Oum who was a beloved animator who worked on animation for Haloid, Red Vs Blue and these RWBY trailers but passed away before Volume 3 due to a illness. For me, I wasn't around during the Monty Era (only got interested in RWBY due to a Death Battle, and realising it was a show I could on UA-cam), so I don't know much, but many believe this to be the starting point of RWBY's fall, which is a complicated issue many argue over, mainly with the current writers of the show Miles and Kerry, and points like the infamous Shane's Letter.
There are sides that say RWBY is good, and sides that say RWBY is bad these days, which I'm on the later side, with me losing interest with nearly all of the cast, new characters aren't as interesting these days in both character and design, and the writing not being good (with many good critique videos pointing out the flaws of this show). There are the rare good elements, but I don't feel they are worth it at the end of the day.
Still glad you enjoyed the Red and White trailers.
