    I've not done any blocks yet!
    I feel each time I watch, a bit more information sinks into my brain, which I feel will be useful when I can begin to do blocks.
    Absolutely fascinating.

    Diane, I really Appreciate yr tutorials.
    Can u show us how to draft an A-Line Dress (with skirt that's more Flair) without any separation of the Skirt from the Bodice at the Waist?
    If so, I will definitely Subscribe to yr Channel ASAP.

    Love your patterns so much. I’ve drafted but still not made much. I used your initial drafting tutorial with the confusing bust arch stuff. I know you redid it with more common terminology. Did you change much? Should I redraft using the new tutorial do you think?

    Oh, thank you!
    Some years ago I made a wrap top that did not go well, in part because I think I patterned it badly... Maybe I can give it another go now. :-)

    If you sew the main front piece on the diagonal grain, what do you do with the back piece? If the back piece is cut on the grain, but it's attached to the front piece which is almost on the bias, won't that negatively affect the seams at the sides?

    Thank you, I was hoping you’d do this kind of wrap style. I watched another wrap style top you did a couple years ago ...
    Should I make a dress on a basis of this wrap top, what should I pay attention to? Any tricks or advice? Thank you for your videos I enjoy them so much.

    Are the measurements different if I’m making size 8? I didn’t know that this is size 10 untill the end of video and I was drawing my pattern along the video ! I don’t know what to do now and I don’t have enough time!

    Pls can you make a tutorial about grading for other style of garments eg Asymmetric or strapless, every where I check, I only see information on grading basic bodice but no explanation about how to apply it to other garments. Also please don't use your ruler because what if I want to use different grade rules from yours, I can't use the ruler. I cant also understand the principles when the ruler is being used. Thank you

    This is a great method so there’s no cutting and taping. So much neater to move darts.

  • @peggyr9623
    @peggyr9623 4 роки тому

    I always learn something new from you. I am wondering why the dart was left in the left side of the front bodice. The dart on the right side was removed and moved to the side seam, but on the left side the dart was left in at the shoulder, or did I misunderstand what was supposed to happen? Thanks so much!

    • @pesahson
      @pesahson 4 роки тому +2

      You're only using the right side to draft the wrap. Once you have that, you can cut the right and left wrap from it. She drew the left side to know how wide the whole front is. It doesn't matter where the dart is on the left because we're not modifying it at all.
