    I think her son is very lucky to have her making fresh almond milk, fresh bread and fresh baked zucchini sticks! It sounds like he helps though. How wonderful that they cook together.

    I LOVE your channel! So, here's a tip. Add some bajri (chickpea flour) to the almond milk to make a batter. You can then leave out the "flour" step, the batter will adhere to the zucchini. Pat the zucchini with a tea towel (or paper) before this step. Such a great way to make zucchini!

      What can we use to replace the bread crumbs? Or can we omit the bread crumbs and re flour it with a different flour?

      Update on this: my 16 year old son loved them! He didn't use to like it when I baked zucchini (he only liked it cooked on the stove top) but this won him over! Yay! And thank you for your videos for me to watch :-)

    Doesn’t the milk wash off the flour before you put them in the breadcrumbs?

  • @yakiyokititti
    @yakiyokititti 4 роки тому +3

    it looks great and tasty! however, I don't see the point of dipping it in flour and then milk as it kinda washed off all the flour?

    • @NiniGirl
      @NiniGirl  4 роки тому

    • @selenabone1
      @selenabone1 4 роки тому +1

      What if you just mix the milk with the flour to make it a batter. I think that would be much better and the bread crumbs would stick alot more. That's how I'm going to tweak this recipe. This is a good video, thanks!

      Hi chefboyarleezy, I used to struggle with our 3 yr old with that too, but I've found that good recipes are key! 2ndly, if there's certain fruits or vegetables that they don't like, move on and try others. My daughter doesn't like raw celery, but she does like raw bell pepper. Let me know if that helps make any progress!

    You could just mix the flour and bread crumbs together, that way the flour doesn't come off in the milk, and saves time.

    Hi, whats the point of putting in the flour?

  • @onray_6508
    @onray_6508 8 років тому +21

    I think the order of the preparation it's not like this. You need first put your slice of zucchini in milk next to the flour and then in bread powder. I can suppose that the flour dissolve into the milk. Otherwise it's all good :)

    • @NiniGirl
      @NiniGirl  8 років тому +20

      No, it is all in order, and no the flour does not dissolve in the milk:) Thanks for watching.

    why would you put it in flour first and wash it off with the milk? this is stupidity at its finest. Eat some meat, maybe then you'll realize to put in milk first then roll it in flour and breadcrumbs. You're just wasting flour.
