Nice video thank you. Never been to Oshkosh, so please excuse my ignorance, but why cancel IFR and throw yourself into what sounds like the utter chaos of the VFR arrival?

Thanks for the question…..to arrive at OshKosh IFR, you need a booking time….we didn’t get one, so flew most of the way IFR, and then canceled and flew VFR to do the Fisk arrival.

we came in Tuesday morning, it was different from other days. 2 mile spacing and then a runway closure.

It happens... I ended up switching to 512GB cards which last just about 9 hours. I'm never going to do a 9 hour day of flying, so that fixed my problem of forgetting to switch card.
Now if I could only remember to close my flight plan every time.

Hi Glen, thanks for the comment.....I really learned my lesson this time.....cannot believe I screwed up my first arrival at Oshkosh.
