Honorable mention: Building complexes make some of the best ambush spots for tanks. Place a tank in the backyard (the fenced in area) of a building block and even recon will have a really hard time spotting them. A tank will be able to put enough rounds downrange to kill a target before it even gets spotted. These positions also work for AT guns.
So little subscribers for such quality content. I have 80 hours on this game and I'm still really struggling with the whole "make your troops survive"😂 it gets to the point I have so many units on the field I completely forget about all my infantry/tanks in areas and they get smacked😂
My least favorite tank to go against is the IS -2 Always get swamped by them and can't seem to counter them. I've read to just abandon the area of the map if its dug in.
Brilliant content 👍 I struggle a bit with the last technique ..my tanks usually have line of sight, have the gun aimed&loaded at the enemy, but for some reason they FIRST rotate the hull towards the enemy, and THEN they fire ...by this I usually lose a good second or two, and the enemy usually get the shot at me as well. Is there a way for my tank to shoot without all that hull-turning? Thanks very much for your content, you helped me a lot so far.
So just to get the obvious out of the way, if the tank has a fixed gun (stug, jagpanzer, etc) it has to turn the entire vehicle to aim. In terms of regular turret tanks the tank will not wait to start aiming while it turns. It’s actually speeding up the turning of the turret by turning the body as well. So it actually comes down to the turret turn speed on the tank. Allied tanks tend to have a faster turn speed than axis tanks
@@atkpwrgaming yes, all that I understand. I meant that even when the turret is facing the enemy already (i.e. turret turned while tank was still on the move at an angle to the enemy), the tank still doesn't shoot until the hull faces the enemy as well. Happened to me multiple times with T34/85, and with it's paper thin armour, I lost it several times thanks to this delay. I couldn't manage to just peek out of the cover, shoot and reverse back immediately. It always was like this: peek out -> turn the turret -> turn the hull -> shoot -> turn the hull again to reverse back -> reverse All that unnecessary hull turning cost me like 4 seconds, which was enough time for a panther to aim and shoot me. It can be seen in this video a little bit in 19:05 , when the t34 comes out of the forrest (left side of the screen)
If it was a gun depression issue it would have still lines up the shot. That’s how you know it’s a angle issue when the fun aims but never actually aims. So I am assuming it was that I didn’t have good enough optics to spot him
That's strange I have a mod that heals tanks and infantry, it's caller the freedom deck mid and man I love it. You get like twice the average amount of units per phase. Like you can have 8 recon panthers in phase way but it can also become a little ridiculous with a deck with 96 tanks in phase B.
10:50 You make it sound as if a damaged tanks HP's can be restored by a support truck. WISH tht were true, but i dont believe thats accurate and u probably just misspoke. I think it should work that way, why not....if they can repair a stuck turret, why not be able to patch up some armor or throw on some new skirts?
Yeah it definitely doesn’t work that way, I just meant you can get rid of critical and stuff. No being able to repair health is terrible, just look at warno. It’s infuriating

@@atkpwrgamingwouldn’t it be just an easy kill for let’s say a Panzerfaust or any close range ap weapon?

Once again, thank you for these. I am surprised there are not more watching. Guess the site has not been found yet
Thanks a bunch, really appreciate it! I hope the UA-cam algorithm blesses me one day with its mercy haha

Amazing vids, found you thanks to the co cast with Vulcan. Hope to see more of those and these vids in the future!

Sd2 are really good for tank micro for me because it’s a abit more tank focus because you have open field
Yeah there’s definitely open lines to work with
10:43 - I read that supply trucks don't re-heal vehicles, just fix broken aspects such as tracks crew etc. So health is permanently lost isn't it?
That is correct!
Very well, good Sir, that are some considerable informative videos you made - I thank you honestly xD
Absolutely! I’m glad it helps!
Your line of sight issue looked like a gun depression problem? Or just that sometimes in real life you cannot see what can see you?

can you "heal" tanks with supply as in WGRD? I know you cant do it with infantry
You can repair critical damage effects, ie bailed out/transmission damage, but you can not "heal" lost hit points.
@William Burns is correct. Supply trucks in this game for only resupplying ammo. No repairing allowed :)
