Yea thats how clue steps work - the steps completed is a global counter and doesn't reset while you juggle clues (only if the first clue despawns before you withdraw the other). Happy hunting!
Haha should have built crystal and demonic thrones. Butlers can retrieve magic crystals. Demonic thrones are 180m xp/hr with 16x lmao. Building anything out of marble blocks is faster xp/hr as well with butler until you can do crystal thrones.
Yea, you're right they would be faster. I hadn't done demonic thrones pre-99 because I didn't bother going to get a butler so I was used to the monster spaces and I just liked the simplicity of less chat dialogues/interfaces to click through. Might try the thrones to wrap up 50m though.
