that's why i love tested and myth busters. like the awful cannonball incident. they could have sent a PR team down to that persons house to appease the press but both of them went down there to apologise personally. a lot of companies seen insincere when they have to admit they made a mistake but not these guys
I know, right? Most would just put an annotation in the video where the correction is needed. Having it done this way is kinda nice and in this case highlights the credit to the actual creators of the Kylo Ren helmet much better than an annotation would.

Jamie was nominally attached in the past, but no longer has any relationship with Tested. The Tested website is poorly maintained though, so is still language about Jamie being involved or Will Smith who now runs FooVR.
I'd really love to see a video of the black series helmet compared to this one. A lot of people are modifying these and it would be really useful to see which details could be taken from this, and put onto the black series helmet. Im super pumped to see what Adam does on this channel for his Kylo Ren cosplay.

I sorry but did you even watch the last video? He said they made the screen used helmet, he was actually wrong and that's why he made this correction video.
he said in the last video "prop shop made the helmet, they make props for the movie, they are now making stuff u can buy......." thats what he restates in this update.......
i think he means it's not the actual helmet Driver wore on screen. besides that, it's as accurate as can be. there were several versions of the hero helmet, with suble little differences, but this one is what the guys who designed it say is the most accurate. because they made it.

Adam originally thought that prop-shop made the helmets for the film and that the new ones they are selling are basically made from the same molds, painted by the same people, ect. this entire video is him explaining that he was wrong and that while they did manufacturer the other props for the movie, the kylo helmet was not made by prop-shop, they merely replicated it with direct access to the originals.

In a number of videos (blade runner gun, microscope case) Adam talks about how he likes his props to feel lived in, used and a little beat up, so to him, a few bangs and knocks only add to the aesthetic. Plus, if he ever broke it, it's not like he hasn't got the skill to fix it.
Adam works in the industry making props and makes replicas as a hobby. He's intimately familiar with things are made. I work in the miniatures market and do it as a hobby as well. I know when to be delicate and careful and when I can be a little more rough with the stuff. It's no biggie. :-)
