Adam Driver reminds me of a Great Dane, he looks intimidating, but once you get to know him you realize he’s just a big puppy.

As someone who has a movie-accurate Kylo costume, I can confirm- the helmet obscures your visibility quite a lot and when combined with how long the robe is, it doesn't make fighting/dynamic moves easy. Not to mention it gets hot in it as hell. That outfit was made for ice planets only.

Same here man! Those layers kill you! I end up needing to take the helmet off cause of how much I start sweating. Totally worth it though, love my costume! Especially when you get to see people’s reactions when you walk up in it haha

4 billion dollars means a lot of people enjoyed them. Just because disney did not follow your lord george lucas' canon doesnt mean that the majority of the people didnt enjoy it, hence the billions of dollars earned. I even enjoyed the latest trilogy more than lucas' prequels, and how much money did those earn? Lucas is old news, his storytelling does not work anymore, and now he is sour graping that disney made more money from his creation than he ever will see when he was at the realm.

Srsly, those were no longer Star Wars movies for me since he appeared in them. They were movies about a serious case of way too little of Adam Driver being shown shirtless and shouting orders with his magnificently deep commanding voice.

I think Letterman didn't want to let go but after he did, he regretted not doing it sooner. Hooking up with HBO probably gives him even more freedom than TBS did (but we're so grateful they had him). I also hope he's making a boatload more money 😂

But for the general viewing public who goes to the movies to just enjoy a film, it was great... hence the billions earned. If it was truly crap, it would not make such huge amounts of money. Lucas' prequels were crap and how much did those make? Not disney sw money. Because frankly, disney's version was better. Fanboys who carry the lucas starwars bible are probably just 1% of the viewing public. So disney has a choice, make something most people will enjoy OR make something that only a few nerds will like. I'm not a Lucas fanboy AT ALL, or even really a Star Wars fan. But it was SO blatantly obvious that nobody had planned the story out for the sequel trilogy beforehand. TFA was basically a remake of ANH, then TLJ got a little more unconvential (which I didn't mind, in and of itself), and then ROS came along and smashed everything to pieces with its totally absurd ret-conning. Palpatine is still alive??? And Rey is supposed to be his grand-daughter (after it was already reveiled that her parents were nobodies)?? STFU. It's just garbage, make-it-up-as-you-go-along storytelling. Yes, the prequels were not good movies, but at least there was a coherent vision for the story-arc told over the trilogy.

I always preferred kylos appearance in force awakens than the other 2 movies.
I didn’t like last Jedi cause he doesn’t wear a helmet,no offence to Adam driver but he should have kept the helmet on to look and be more intimidating and then reveal his face in rise of skywalker.

From the title, I thought it was going to be Adam Driver talking about how dumb the Kylo Ren costume was. That's what I clicked for.
Kylo Ren creating a suit that looks like a spinoff of Vader's costume (which Vader required in order to keep breathing and functioning) is like a teen thinking that their crippled uncle's prosthetic arm looks cool and making a cybernetic-looking arm device to mimic it. And then those red lines where the helmet was fused back together? Ridiculous.
Honestly, when I first saw him in the film, I thought, "okay so this is supposed to be their new Vader? Meh. Maybe. Let's see how he does." And then my opinion kept getting worse as I saw how he seemed to be channeling Luke Skywalker in A New Hope--specifically the whole whiny teenage angst angle--only without Luke's innocent eagerness, earnestness and general likeability.
I don't even really blame Adam (or any of the other actors). This seems to be what the show runners wanted.

I watched it, and i enjoyed it. In fact i watched all sw movies even the han solo one. Its one thing to just enjoy them and another thing to obsess with them and thats what a fanboy does. "Ooooh they did not follow lucas' canon damn them, i will write an angry letter to disney and tell them that they should rewrite the script and reboot the movie, i am just so mad". Disney will just laugh at your agony.

If you enjoy all Star Wars movies that's cool, if you like sequels that's ok, but don't insult us who don't. Star Wars movies never had an Oscar quality story telling, but Star Wars isn't only about the movies, Star Wars lore is so much bigger than the movies and a lot of people, including me like it, and we think that the story of the sequels isn't good and is poorly made. That doesn't make us lifeless nerds, it just means that we care about the story a bit more than a regular person who just wants to watch a movie.
