May God richly bless you for great job done. Indeed it is really a useful and indispensable source of knowledge for beginners who know nothing about SPSS. I'm really making good use of it. Thank you
Hello Phil I just wanted to thank you for your awesome videos. They have been very very helpful. I have watched almost most of them and I like how you explain things in simple terms which makes it easier to understand for us newbies. Anyways, you are amazing. Keep it up
Hello Phil, I just found your channel and truly appreciate all the effort you have put into this. I am completing my Masters in I/O Psychology and by two current classes require SPSS work. I have not used SPSS before the school only provided the manual to read and figure it out on your own. Not everyone learns from just reading alone. Some people need the visual of what you have done for us to connect the dots and see the context. I will going through all your videos here on SPSS and wanted to make sure to say thank you for you hard work and efforts on this!!!
That's very kind Al. I am surprised they are just leaving you to it. Well, my video covers pretty much the main tools taught to newbies. You may use the search box if you have a particular video you wish to find. One hurdle that will make learning easier, is to know about variable type - categorical (which are either nominal or ordinal), and continuous/measurable/scale. Good luck!
+Sean Getchell Thanks. Yup, may be I am done with this video series. I can't think what else a newbie would need to know about SPSS that's not covered in one of my 70 or so videos.
Thank you Phil for this and many other videos you have uploaded. I have found them very useful. Please my question is which of these videos is relevant to Panel Data. All I need to know really is if I can use panel data on SPSS and how. Thanks
I am confused on continuous data and what tests to use. I know what it means but I keep getting different info that if it is over 5 it is categorical continuous ?
Carol. I see why you are confused. With ordinal variables (categorical variables with an order, see my data entry video) broken into many subgroups (you say 5) one may accept to treat them as continuous. But why would one want to do this? It's so that one can access statistical methods available for continuous variables. For newbies this is acceptable, and even at the level of papers for applied stats journals it is accepted.
hi i need help please help me. i want to input date to spss but i want ask help from my friend to input with so i can finish it faster so how i can do it ? because their is too much information to put it on this software
Say you have 500 cases. You could set up a template in SPSS, and each input 250 cases. Then all you have to do is copy and paste one group of data under the other.
+Piyu n Ti my knowledge, you can't do CFA & SEM without AMOS in SPSS. An alternative is to use the free (student) version of Lisrel which you can download from the Lisrel website. This package was built to do CFA and SEMs.
essay.jhu.all-about.in I want to express my true gratitude to the members of the support team. +BIJU ROY , you may need to be more clear with the question, if your question is how to align the DVs & IVs, 1st you can correlate them & then regress them depending on whether you have 1/ multiple DVs

can you ?
Man, you speak too fast. Slow down! Many times I just couldn't understand what you were saying. Great videos tho! Thanks!
I think you are being sincere. It's quite funny as a common comment is my videos from 2012-2016 were too slow.
