      Not sure is anyone ever could. But I think Mr. Kingsley brings his own unique qualities to the table. I like that he’s not so quiet and hard to hear. I find whispering and talking quietly to be kind of annoying actually. I like that I can hear him clearly and understand every word. Reminds me of sleeping through teachers lecturing back in high school. Both are unique and both are amazing in their own ways. But that’s just my opinion, not everyone has to agree.

    This whole process puts me at such peace and relaxation. I've got to try this one day. It could help with my sciatica too. ASMRtists often feature this technique in their videos. A nice one I like to watch is from Whisperaudios asmr, "Alexander technique".

      I actually tried it after watching a few of these and it's made a huge impact of my life in terms of stress release and just being comfortable with my body.
      To get the "full deal" you might want to do 30 lessons or so within quite a short time period (to really have the body to getting into new movement patterns), and I did, but just going to one introductory lesson just to try it out was also awesome.

  • @Liquidmuse3

    anthony, how does the alexander technique work with people who have bad posture from things like anterior pelvic tilt, rounded shoulders, forward head posture etc., the sort of things where a person has overly weak or tight muscles? Should they be corrected first through exercise and physio?

    • @AlexanderTechnique33
      @AlexanderTechnique33  2 роки тому +4

      Good question. When the system comes back into balance, the muscular-skeletal system reorganises itself and the reconditioning of the individual muscles occurs in the process. We operate as a coherent whole, and therefore specific exercises for particular muscles can tend to unbalance the system. When the impeding conditions are removed, the mindbody regenerates as a totality.

    The Alexander technique is used for different things I have noticed. What exactly is it being used for this video? It says you’re a physiotherapist. Is that what you’re dealing with in this video? I know that it can be done for actors, dancers, singers, or being able to move about with a good posture in your daily life and do things efficiently/ergonomically. The only thing I don’t understand is a C am are people doing it… I guess it’s like the reason why am meditators and “mindfulness people” do it , Because getting it to good posture I guess helps you to relax also, right? I know I’m saying too many things but these are all the things in my mind. What exactly are you using the Alexander technique for?

    • @goldsilverbronze6188
