I've been saying there will be a shift in mindset again as the Lebron generation fades away. More and more EU talent is here who represent entire countries and with that comes expectations without excuses. We need a generation of players who feel like they have to prove themselves. This weird movement to discredit the Jordan era and how hard they played feels a lot like an attempt to stop that from happening but I don't think it's going to work. It'll take a long time but I do think it's coming.
His mentality is why I’m so excited. We see lots of talent come through, but we are blessed that his gifts and hard-earned skill will combine with that to be devastating on the court. Some guys they say can guard 1-5, while Wemby can guard the whole court at the same time possession by possession. A true chance at GOAT status because he has what it takes and wants to show up and prove it night after night. Hopefully we have twenty years left of watching him do it.
Not sure he was talkin about Embiid. Hes said incredibly nice things about Embiid and in their one matchup last year Embiid put 70 on his head lmfao so if he meant Embiid it would be absurd
I mean someone’s opinion on someone else can change throughout a year. Wemby was a rookie last year so maybe he didn’t want to pick fights, but now that he is a sophomore he isn’t as afraid.
He's doing too much talking for a second year player who hasn't earned anything substantial yet. Win a title or two before you start badmouthing other players and veterans. Guys like Steph or LeBron who have won everything are still humble.
to be fair, embid has been injury prone since ever. he was drafted 2014 and didn't play till 2015. i don't think its entirely his fault and sure he can be leaner but his body isn't built for this fast pace 82-100+ game season. props to wemby but i promise you, once he get a serious injury he will start holding back just like embid and just like lebron at his old age. i personally think they need to slow down the game, maybe call the actual rules. stop letting these guys run non-stop.
A player can have all the potential in the world, without the correct mindset, all of that is blown out the window. The Bol Bols, the Mo Bambas, players with amazing physical gifts, but who lack the mental aspects of the game, the drive to be and a professional and carry yourself like one. If you switch out Bol Bols Mindest and work ethic with Wembys, hed be an all NBA player.
I don’t know what the future holds for Vic. But I see him as the best player in the league in a few years and definitely should have at least an MVP and a ring by career’s end
Embiid started playing ball at like 15, not 5 like most players... And he still worked on his game to have such a huge bag of tricks. His body might break down, but he put in tons of work learning from the best to get here
First of all, how do you know that he's talking about Embiid!. This is one of the worst takes I've ever heard. Embiid has an injury history, so it makes sense that he shouldn't play every game, because he won't make it through the season. ALso, if a person gets injured over and over again, that does NOT mean that they aren't doing what they are supposed to do. Sometimes injuries are just bad luck, which is what injuries mostly are. Kawhi Leonard is the prime example of this.
Wembanyama is even more than a marketable box office superstar. He's a CONSUMER FRIENDLY superstar. something we're kinda desperate for. few like him that understand what their job is and openly appreciate it. Yes, LeBron could never.
Good vid man.. Wemb has the opportunity to be special in this league. The issue the NBA has is that to be flashy catches the eye and the viewers eye. Its entertainment but like Duncan who wasnt flashy or expressive wasnt entertaining to the basic fan but was to the basketball minded fan. This league right now needs the basketball minded player to make it known on these entertainers in the league. I believe he can tow that line and be both, like a Dr J or MJ.
Greatness doesn't demand a strong body It certainly helps for sure but people like Steph Curry like Allen Iverson have existed and will always be remembered What it takes to be great is a strong mind that gives all to the sport
I’m kinda curious Dynamo, you should make a vid on your rankings for potential playoff contenders for the east and west. I’m curious on your rankings, my top 3 are: West- 1st Wolves 2nd Nuggets 3rd OKC East- 1st Celtics 2nd Knicks 3rd Bucks
If he stays healthy, I can see Wemby breaking the record for most DPOYs won and if possible, most all-def team selections. The current DPOY record is a three-way tie of Mutumbo, Ben Wallace, and Rudy Gobert at four. The current All-Def team selection record is held by Tim Duncan, who made 8 1st-teams and 7 2nd-teams (15 in total)
The league’s official NFT, the anti-Iverson because he puts in more work in practice than in games-because you know, for the reels. Because he’s “back in the lab”… talking about Benson. He is definitely on that hit list of players not putting up adequate effort.
Spurs really drafted 7'5 Tim Duncan, and he's got mamba mentality yeah we're all cooked.

@@charlie_541yea but sending strays to a vet who put 70 on your head just makes you look dumb
@@charlie_541 True. He praised Embiid this summer during the Olympics after the season though lmao
@@Mark_Cadden Yeah maybe not, I was just saying its possible lol
He's doing too much talking for a second year player who hasn't earned anything substantial yet. Win a title or two before you start badmouthing other players and veterans. Guys like Steph or LeBron who have won everything are still humble.
How is LBJ humble?
Commissioner is the best😂. Best commentary bro🙏🏽
This is why he’s the goat, not the injury prone guy with the funny accent.
to be fair, embid has been injury prone since ever. he was drafted 2014 and didn't play till 2015. i don't think its entirely his fault and sure he can be leaner but his body isn't built for this fast pace 82-100+ game season. props to wemby but i promise you, once he get a serious injury he will start holding back just like embid and just like lebron at his old age. i personally think they need to slow down the game, maybe call the actual rules. stop letting these guys run non-stop.
That’s why the league is way more injury prone now… the insane fast pace
A player can have all the potential in the world, without the correct mindset, all of that is blown out the window. The Bol Bols, the Mo Bambas, players with amazing physical gifts, but who lack the mental aspects of the game, the drive to be and a professional and carry yourself like one. If you switch out Bol Bols Mindest and work ethic with Wembys, hed be an all NBA player.
my man wemby comin out and speakin facts from arm's reach (his reach is longer than my height)
I don’t know what the future holds for Vic. But I see him as the best player in the league in a few years and definitely should have at least an MVP and a ring by career’s end
my favorite player in the league rn
youre a brilliant writer brother, good shit
After hearing what he said. I now want Victor to be the BEST player in the NBA and in history.
"Here comes the process" and "Bit his tongue, he's out for a month" took me tf out 😂😂
He’s 💯 correct..!
His parents did a great job at raising this young man based on what I have seen, especially given his mentality.
Seems like the early 2020s classes have more dawgs than the late 2010s do
Embiid started playing ball at like 15, not 5 like most players...
5 vids in one week. Man is locked in
Off topic but a vid abt your mvp predictions, roy predictions, 6man, etc, a video like that would be fire, not forcing tho
We will never see another Kobe or mj work ethic. Their mindset was insane
6:14 can’t wait to see what it looks like when he puts on some more mass
Wembanyama is even more than a marketable box office superstar. He's a CONSUMER FRIENDLY superstar. something we're kinda desperate for. few like him that understand what their job is and openly appreciate it.
Yes, LeBron could never.
This is actually inspiring
Good vid man.. Wemb has the opportunity to be special in this league. The issue the NBA has is that to be flashy catches the eye and the viewers eye. Its entertainment but like Duncan who wasnt flashy or expressive wasnt entertaining to the basic fan but was to the basketball minded fan. This league right now needs the basketball minded player to make it known on these entertainers in the league. I believe he can tow that line and be both, like a Dr J or MJ.
This is motivational
The spurs legit got the best player they could of possibly dreamed of after Duncan. It's refreshing to hear this too
🎶 THERE GOES MY HERO WATCH HIM AS HE GOES 🎶
This kid might be real GOAT status....he has the work ethic to do it, and drive to be better. He prolly worked on his 3pts shooting
I have seen enough. Welcome back Kobe Bryant.
Here comes the process 😂
Greatness doesn't demand a strong body
It certainly helps for sure but people like Steph Curry like Allen Iverson have existed and will always be remembered
What it takes to be great is a strong mind that gives all to the sport
You think Wemby was talking Embiid? After he dropped 70 on him? 😅😅😅
I’m kinda curious Dynamo, you should make a vid on your rankings for potential playoff contenders for the east and west. I’m curious on your rankings, my top 3 are:
West-
1st Wolves
2nd Nuggets
3rd OKC
East-
1st Celtics
2nd Knicks
3rd Bucks
Hypothetically if Embiid joins the pistons and wins them a ring how does your mind change about them
Dayuuum that Embitch impression is fire!
I don’t think this league will allow Vic to bring grit & passion back
Wembanyama and lively II are the best centers at 20
Duren is better than Lively
@@gnomechomsky2524 🤣🤣 has he ever been the playoffs and the finals and played great in his rookie season?
@@rashaunburrows4458 and that’s Duren’s fault? Lol. Players don’t control which teams draft them. Terrible argument.
The start of this video is hilarious!
The league’s official NFT, the anti-Iverson because he puts in more work in practice than in games-because you know, for the reels. Because he’s “back in the lab”… talking about Benson. He is definitely on that hit list of players not putting up adequate effort.
I’m impressed with Wembayama, but the dude needs to do more heavy lifting, not resistance stuff. Just my opinion.
He just said something everyone was saying for last 14 years
5:13 I think you’re talking about Ben Simmons
So blessed as a Spurs fan. It equals out, though, because when it comes to the NFL, I'm so cursed as a Raider fan lol
Good job dude
