13:13 The fact man's said "Kind of a TWO TOWERS of sorts..." while showing a picture of two players on the 2001 bulls, rocking the post 9/11 patch on the jersey is a hilarious coinsidence. Thanks Canadian. ❤
When tooforwon makes a long video I roll up ✌🏾 2 blunts and get my wine 🍷 and sit back and enjoy, salute to D-Rose on retirement, I hate the injuries robbed him of a Hall of Fame worthy career!
im not sure why u feel like ur quality has dropped but let me say that ur videos are consistently good. definitely some of the best basketball content on youtube gang. ion think u should stop pushin urself to be better & i think u should know that ur work has been entertaining, informative & fair. we fwu.
Thank you for the constant support. I might just be too hard on myself & take some of the negative comments I get to heart. This video was definitely one of those videos that is helping get back in the groove of things so thank you for the comment ❤️
for the lack of bias you generally show (and i mean long-term bias that i see with bigger documentary production companies), your quality of videos beats most channels on this platform. especially for a smaller channel, you have significantly longer content while doing just as much research on your talking points. heck, you even catch some of the funny details most people would forget out of seasons around a decade ago. for a documentary-style channel youre running, at the size youre at, youre second to none. you NEED more recognition for this work
I just found your UA-cam channel 2 days ago and I’ve been binge watching every video. Love the content love the length of these videos makes my work day go by so fast. Appreciate the hard work you put into these. Looking forward to seeing what else you got coming out
Dont apoligize for the length of any of the vids you put out.The longer the better partner, cause when they come to an end,it only makes me want more,js.💪👍🏀
I enjoy me some 241 videos. I have a playlist of all the long videos I can pop on and listen to. I'm a Bulls fan and DRose is one of my favorite players. Loved this long form video talking about him. Cheers mate, appreciate the work you do.
And he still a legend!!. Especially in Chicago...the ❤ this man has...where he came from...how great he was..even if for a moment...he inspired more people than most nba players who has a full career
Derrick rose is all heart. There have been smarter men and stronger men who faced the adversity that he went through and crumbled. But because of his spirit his heart and his soul he was an inspiration at every downfall. Great doc
as a celtics fan, i could not help but be amazed at the way he moved in his series against the celtics as a rookie. every step looked like an explosion.
Спасибо за Дэрика , я с 78го года и после Джордана я не особо интересовался НБА, но 🎉 родился сын ,занялся баскетболом и я вместе с ним начал опять следить, его первый и любимый игрок D.Rose ,и кстати сейчас он в Louisiane Tech.🎉 Batcho Daniel, Thanks guy's. Rose belong to HOF. Health problems it's the main issues for athletes and he fight them with all forces.
49:48 he didn’t start crying because of commercial, it was because they started talking about the violence in Chicago rising and what he thinks as he is an inspiration to many kids in the city
Damn just watched the original clip back, and you're right. Thank you for letting me know about this. I'll be sure to correct this in the video (can add text in UA-cam edit I think)
D Rose will always be THE biggest "what could had been" stories in sports period. His entire story just makes me sad, he deserved so much better but the universe had different plans.
An ACL tear is a lot of times career ending in sports. Most people don’t understand that as they only hear about the exceptions. Most kids with ACL injuries have their career derailed in high school or college. They don’t make it to the pros.
did you change the title of this video or am I just tripping? coming back to finish the video, watched it in parts I actually liked the title "the book of derrick rose" if im not tripping out lol thats just me though, great video regardless i love these long docus that you do
The title change was to see if we could get the video pushed more, but it's not happening. I'll change the title back and let this video be regardless of the view amount. The support shown is already enough for me to say the video did its job, so thank you ❤️
bro definitely misrepresented how the Heat beat them in 2011 😭 it wasn’t even like the Heat’s offense was good that series. after game 1 they just started having LeBron guard Rose in the 4th quarter, & since Rose was the head of the snake, that basically shut their entire offense down
Yo won. You really outside yourself with this one. I defiantly understand having doubts after making something collectively seen as an amazing piece of work. Listen to DRose with this one. Don’t let other validate your success. Every time you work you get better and better and we all love everything you do. 🤎💯

Thanks a lot!! I don't know much about Rose but I bet after two hours I know much more.

As a Knick fan rose is going to always hold a special place in my heart love rose 🫡
After this im not just a huge D Rose fan. i'm a Rose Family fan
Tooforwonforthewin!
"IDC if we're up by 12, go out there & finish the game."- the words Coach Thibs maybe said, that changed the course of Rose's career.
Wings and tooforwon, i think im the winner here

Don’t stress too much dude. You don’t have to be perfect.
btw the other coach who saved David Blatt from getting a tech & blowing game 4 in Chicago was Ty Lue
Lmao should have pointed that out. That's crazy
Using Yung Filly’s picture in this is top tier comedy 😂😂😂
We backkkk
Finally 🙌🏾

One of my favorite players of all time
