  • I get these all the time, Ethanol gets old and suddenly your mower won't start after sitting for only a few weeks.

Awesome fix (as usual), you are so helpful and show it all like it is. Thanks Bill.

I think the same thing every time I buy fuel line, but I can't let them go without new plugs, filters and fuel line.

A little WD-40 on the inside of the fuel hose makes it go on a little easier. Good video.

@lawrencecarroll2031 I am usually good about putting a drop or 3 of oil in them before I put them on, I dunno what I was thinking on this one. 🙄🤣

Hi...where did you get the magnet?

You can get them at most auto parts stores. They usually aren't out on the shelf, so you will have to ask about them. I stick one to each mower and never lose nuts and bolts this way.

another good fix my neighbor put too much oil in his mower and smoked like crazy and foweled the plug. ended up just changing the oil and using 16 oz HD30 + 4 OZ oil stabilizer. its a older Tecumseh LV195EA on a lawnboy. it smoked a little after that but was good to go it must be like 20 years old and still going.

The oil takes a few minutes to burn out of the muffler when that happens. I used this one for trim work this morning, no smoke at all after a couple minutes

@lewiemcneely9143 Ok, not always, but it sure feels like it sometimes 🤣
It cooled off a bit with highs in the mid 90s this week. That's a cold front for Dallas in July.
