my feed wheel is hard to turn by hand gears are worn in the gearbox.

Does a FT boring bar have enough stroke to bore a small block ford?
YES many times over. the ft can bore from 2.65"-5.3" diameter and has a 14.5" stroke
What is the exact tool used to hold the bore sleeve? Doing this to an fl this week if all goes well.

@@EricksonMachinePerformance my machine has no acme screw on outside as feed, feed is provided internally thru gearbox. So is it possible that on this model head don't unscrew?
