Man I felt your pain with this. Thank you for posting! Seeing this made me feel better when I too struggled changing the filter in my wife's Disco. Whoever designed it's placement was a sadist.

Thanks very much. I have done a number of Freelanders, but now I am going to change my Discovery Sport 2017 front pads. Disks are fine, so that change comes next time. The details have been very helpful. Robin

    Great video, very instructive
I got my used discovery 2017 too
But I don't know anything about mechanical repairs, but I wonder if I could do exactly what you did.
    Replace breaks.
When you replace breaks, do you do it in all 4 wheels?

R Mass funny you mention that , I have rear brakes pads that sitting in my garage, and keep postponing it. Now that You asked I will definitely have to do it soon ( don’t wanna brake sensor to wear out)

I wonder why all these trucks are so different,i have a buddy of mine that has a 2017 range rover and the brakes look nothing like this,i did a brake job for him and looking up parts was not easy plus there are articles online about this whole issue and how the line up of trucks is also confusing, nice trucks, dont get me wrong but just wondering why all the different stuff? even my buddy that owns the truck thought his truck was a certain model until i looked the vin up and it was different from what he thought he had ha ha ha ha .

dntlss discovery and discovery sport is 2 different vehicles. On top of they Range Rover discovery sport was changed in late 2017/2018 changed the engine and did few modifications on them. As far as for parts you can start at Rockauto or Fcpeuro . There is not much of diagram on parts for this cars , not like Realoem for BMW
