Relocation of spare tire to under belly of rig

- In the late model 2020 Sabre 38DBQ, they moved the spare tire to the front cargo hold which takes up a significant amount of space. We decided to relocate the spare to the under belly utilizing a BAL Hide-A-Spare carrier. This has freed up that extra space in the front hold to allow for additional storage capacity.
They put your spare in a better spot than my 2019 Forest River Cardinal 5th wheel. Then mounted it underneath the rv at the far rear. On a drop down cable system. Before I even got it off the dealer lot went over a dip and it ripped it right off the welded supports. Dealer said all the could do was fix it and put it back in same spot. How ridiculous. So I mounted it to the wall in the storage compartment.
Side note to the video. My wife and I have ordered a 2021 Sabre DBQ. What diameter are the pads on the leveling jacks? I want to get the snap pads to go on them but I'm not sure what size to purchase.
Instead of always checking the air in the spare I just carry a battery powered compressor so it don't matter what the pressure is. I will fill it up before installing it.
Noticed that you have rv on jack stands. Could you explain?
I noticed you have the RV Snap Pads... what size snap pad for that rig? I have the same ground control system and wanted to order some...
Must be a new "thing". Our 2020 Keystone Cougar is same way... hence I am watching your video 😁
put some antiseize on that twist knob bolt. Mine got rusted and is now impossible to get off.
Also need to add a supplemental "dummy" cable to attach the thumb screw to the safety pin cable so you don't lose the thumb screw on the side of the road....
