- Elliot goes back to "his apartment" and hacks into the other Elliot's computer, discovering a whole other life that he has supposedly led.
From Mr Robot Season 4 Episode 12 "Whoami" Elliot wakes up in an abandoned lot following the explosion at the Washington Township plant, which is no longer there. He discovers the town is a thriving suburbia, where his mother and father, both alive, live. He finds out that his parents never abused him as a child and that Darlene does not exist. He returns to the city, where he encounters Angela's parents, Emily and Phillip (the latter still being in Angela's life), and they reveal to him that Elliot is marrying Angela the following day. He goes to the alternate Elliot's apartment and hacks his computer, discovering a hidden drive of sketches of himself, Darlene, and the rest of fsociety. The alternate Elliot returns home to find the original Elliot at his iMac (as depicted at the end of the previous episode). Initially alarmed, the alternate Elliot explains that the sketches are of a persona he created that would lead an exciting life as a vigilante hacker, the very life the original Elliot lives. They touch, causing another earthquake, which severely injures the alternate Elliot. Alternate Elliot gets a call from Angela; hearing her for the first time since her death, the original Elliot decides that he can have the life he always wanted and kills the alternate Elliot.

@@whathesaytho4818 Yes, show ended a few years back after 4 amazing seasons and now the YT channel posts clips from it. This clip hopefully doesn't spoil things for you too much out of context. I suggest you watch the show from the start.

Max Quale went above and beyond with the score for the final season, especially the final two episodes. He nailed every beat, emotion, feeling and action with this one.

It’s strange that Elliot is all alone looking for evidence of his life.
It’s really not, though. Elliot is mostly alone throughout the entire show. So, it only makes sense that he’s alone trying to find dirt on himself.
He's alone because that's how the mastermind/vigilante works. He can't be found because he doesn't want to. Most people with anxiety get it.

I’ve seen this show a few times and I still think about it every once in a while. Fantastic show.
Love how pretty much all the code typed was actually real (other than them removing the word "Apple" for legal reasons). IIRC, he booted Chrome without the GUI and injected code to pull all the passwords tied to Elliot's Google account that were locally stored on the hard disk
yeah start chome --headless mode --user-dir-data= {} and --remote-debub-port then curl to fetch the port o/p
but it don't know yet apple use /private/etc/host where we allot a place holer {password} to brute force that was impressive.

The movie is special
While outstanding, it wasn't the greatest show ever, but it was probably the most original I've ever seen. Not only was the acting crazy good top to bottom, but every character big and small got developed and had an arc that just perfectly fit.

There was mention of a Mr.Robot comic book series, but to date nothing has come of that yet.
Hopefully not, they ended it perfectly and is one of the few modern shows to be completely solid from Pilot-Finish. There's no wiggle room to expand on him or the story itself either, without retconning or making it contrived idiocracy.

Isn't it meant to be good? I defintetly don't think a Mac is superior to everything, but this world, everything was meant to be perfect minus the hidden parition on the hard drive.

Hello, I am new to this series, I find it confusing, did he like make the whole thing up, from his prison cell. I know he made the whole thing up that his dad was there, but did he make the whole big hack story up, that brought down everything, or did he actually do it.
New as in you haven't watched the show, only the scenes uploaded, or new as in you just recently finished the 4 season series? Anyway he actually did it. Is it the alternate universe stuff introduced in the 2nd-to-last episode that's got you wondering whether more of the events were made up?

the other elliot IS elliot, the elliot that we see in the show is just like mr robot, another personality (the mastermind.) the mastermind trapped the real elliot in this dream like sequence for months, but he doesn’t remember that and the mastermind is left thinking he’s the real elliot until the end of the show.
The happy guy is the real Elliot, the person we are watching the whole time is the mastermind, the creation the real Elliot always wanted to be

The ending to the series was such a let-down... the writers wrote themselves into a hole and gave up.
Mr. Robot was supposed to be a movie, and ended up being a show. The director has stated the ending was already made well before season 1 was even put out. The ending is thoroughly thought out and extremely well executed. You’re tripping.
@@AidanJulich then it’s simply a crappy ending. It wasn’t thought out at all because the plot fell apart “by design” (so smart) as the show progressed to the point that if aliens landed on the planet it could be explained away by the ending. It sucked. Period. The first two seasons were good then it turned to crap.
Isn't Season 4 the highest rated of out every other season? Defintetly wasn't a let down.
