I think what Maxon meant with ingrams power armor was that if it stops working she can’t just jump out and continue on her own feet. Sure other knights would get stuck but when they get freed from their armor they still have two working legs where as Ingram would have to be carried to safety or otherwise evacuated from the area risking injury to her fellow warriors that need to help her

There is a entrance to the institute other than teleportation, and it is patrolled. When you use the teleport and leave that room turn left and look in that area and you will find a sealed locked door, that leads to that tunnel and a lot of underground rooms from the old institute. You can only access that door from the tunnels.
@@mastergreeen1385 Ok like I said it's been years since I played that scenario. A lot of people seemed to think there was but one way in. But no I explored all the river underwater and everywhere I could go in the game. I found that entrance but it wasn't accessible till I picked up that quest. Fallout has so much they cut from the game that I thought that was what that was at the time just cut content but was surprised to find a mission to go that way. Sort of like downtown so many little cubby holes here and there to find. No matter how many times I play the game I always find something I missed. Was fun to do it. Love to explore games like fallout have them all. And now have the Gog versions no more messing up my game Bethesda.
It’s so weird listening to the first part of this with Lancer Captain Kells talking on the PA system and having just finished watching an episode of Star Trek: Voyager which was focused on Tuvok. Since they are both played by Tim Russ.
It's the same with playing XCOM 2: War of the Chosen after watching TNG. Frakes, Sirtis, Crosby, Dorn and de Lancie all played members of the various factions.
It’s almost certain that the Brotherhood has since significantly advanced the Predwen after the events of Fallout 4, as the Predwen Terminals say that the Ship is barely staying in the Sky, and it may be impossible for them to get it to fly anywhere again. But we see the Predwen in the Fallout TV Show, so it’s almost certain they’ve significantly advanced the Ship with Commonwealth Technology since. (No, it wasn’t the ‘Caswennan’ that was just a misdirection to avoid spoilers) so in the Show, the Ship travels from Boston to Utah, that’s it’s farthest journey ever. I’d be very surprised if the Institute isn’t at least mentioned in Season 2, along with some very crazy advancements thanks to Cold Fusion, such as Infinite-Charge Fusion Cores!
Thats not the Prydwen. The Prydwen was built on the East Coast based on the ones they already had back West. Somebody screwed up. The original caption on the press photos said it was the Caswennan..

Maxon not allowing Ingram field duty isn't just about the possibility of power armor failure. It's probably more about the fact that Ingram's is also her legs, both being amputated. Any other person, upon armor failure, could just get out and walk away. Ingram physically can't.
Fun fact you can find a total of 6 mini nukes on the prydwin 3 are in that spot you shown 2 are hidden under the platform one is in the armory and you can find the 6th on a platform overlook dont remember which one
If the Brotherhood really did take Rivet City’s Fusion Reactor, I think their wording here is interesting to me “that old aircraft carrier wreckage” they didn’t even see it as a City, just a wreck. A piece of waste. Despite claiming themselves better than them, the Brotherhood acts more like the Pre-War US Gov then down-to-earth wastelanders. A City isn’t a City to them, just a target.
If Everett maxson showed up in Boston where his descendant Arthur was there Everett gave Arthur a bottle of beer for him and a visit to sanctuary distillery for a visit and more
Eldar Maxson almost seems like a decent human in some entries. Sadly only in some. The Prydwen is the best show of how bad the Boss really is. NOT A SINGLE TOILET ON THE SHIP OR THE GROUND....
Fallout 1&2: BoS are a continent of ex-military reclaimers Fallout 3: more like mythical knights with "modern tactics" Fallout 4: they're actually just goose-steppers
No, they didn’t. If they did, then paladin Danse wouldn’t have joined the BOS. Don’t forget the original guy was from Rivet City. Him joining the brotherhood after his town being slaughtered, wouldn’t make any sense.
Or maybe rivet city had more than one reactor. Modern day aircraft carriers are usually powered by at least two reactors and in the case of the USS enterprise CVN-65 being powered by eight reactors. In my mind rivet city struck a deal with the brotherhood or as a token of gratitude for getting clean water gave the brotherhood an unused reactor because it wasn’t needed to power the city

I never liked the "feeding the troops" quest. Especially since the BOS was unwilling to provide the farms with anything in return. I would have liked to see the BOS offer help in exchange. Like a patrol will swing by from time to time and they can call for air support if Raiders or mutants attack. It would only be good business for the BOS to defend their food sources.
I mean, sure, they don't outright defend those settlements, but they do patrol the Commonwealth to take the fight to raiders and whatnot. So indirectly, they do make it safer for those farmers.
If you are playing on Survival mode, the brotherhood is the only way to go ! I would hate to not have those vertibird rides all over the place. it is a must. I'm not walking everywhere, not even in survival mode, no sir.
you still retain the ability to fly around in vertibirds during the Railroad and Minuteman endings; you only ever lose it in the Institute story, but then in that case, you retain teleportation, which has its uses
@@mastergreeen1385 What about in the nuka world dlc ? if you take over the common wealth with the raiders ? I have been thinking I probley lose them then. Do you know ?

The prevailing theory is that Maxson is a Synth with the "perfect human specimen" statement. There is no way that the man that is Maxson is 23 years old with that build, or that he slayed a Deathclaw whilst in the midst of Brotherhood caretakers of the Capital Wasteland.

What I don't understand is if elder maxson is in fact a synth, why would he be allowed to have been made Elder? Isn't that what they're against supposedly. No they are against anyone else having the technology except for themselves. There's even a halo tape that addresses that someone believes him to be one, yet it's not fleshed out unfortunately. If that is the case I don't know why they wanted Danse destroyed after finding out that he is a synth. Maybe because The institute and the brotherhood of steel had fallen out sometime after Maxon was created, but dance had been with the brotherhood of steel for so long that maxon took pity on him and didn't know what to do. Wouldn't it be something if the institute and the brotherhood of steel had secretly worked together at one time? That would be interesting.. what's complicated is that we don't really find any evidence of this but it's not out of the realm of possibility is it?
The death of Sarah was a huuuuge blow to me. There's a mod called "Project Valkyrie" that fixes that. Honestly, it's awesome and I highly recommend it.
there is a pipe that leads to the Intute you can find it with the Mintimen end quest but too you can find it on your own, I honestly can't find it now not sure if it been packed or whatever
I see the Elder Arthur Maxson as a young leader who is constantly trying to balance his mentors' teachings (Elder and Senteinel Lyons) and the Codex. He makes preserving Technology a Priority, but he still insists on a Winning the Hearts and Minds campaign. A stark contrast to the Isolationist policies of other Chapters. Honestly, like it or not Elder Maxson's Chapter is the conclusion to the balance that Veronica was pleading for her chapter to undertake. Especially since Maxson accepts recruits (through sponsorships).
I still have no idea how they load cargo onto the ship when the only way in is a tiny door and then up a small ladder. Surprised power armour users can get in let alone massive crates full of fatman shells and liberty prime parts!
My guess is Maxson somehow got ahold of an experimental serum, Captain America style. And Ingram had to be strapped into a PA frame so the BoS clearly doesn't have access to Institute-esque cybernetics. If the did they could have grafted a pair of legs onto Ingram. Without any visible signs of cybernetic augmentation, I have to assume Maxson found some kind of serum. The cybernetics is just a cover story to give a sense of realism to the Arthur Maxson mythos.
I can think her name but the fact she bound by power armor and can leave is down pluse the fact she has nightterrores make her a liability in any mission
Broadcast TV still exists, and it isn't all that long since it was the main source of entertainment. Heck, as late as 2007 I couldn't even get cable and had to use a dial up modem to connect to the internet, and I lived less than 10 miles from Chicago. Also, almost everyone knows "Tune in next week to the same Bat-time, same Bat channel." It's been a meme for 60 years.
Quinlan isn't necessarily a hypocriye for personally enjoying something he claims isn't of value to the Brotherhood as a faction. Of course,. may be thinking comics are childish, but since he clearly can't kick it himself, he tries covering up the fact when talking to you. "Originate", not "originate from". Why do people insist of making these mistakes? Interesting Quinlan would use the term "indoctrinated" when talking about his own faction. Almost makes me think he may not agree with their whole thing. I never understood why, for a paramilitary organization, the BOS isn't very tactical nor strategic in utalizing their surroundings and the people to expedite their cause. Lyons was heading in that direction but he, too, failed to realize that if you get the locals to trust you they may actually WANT to help you find what they see as old junk but you see the potential in, because 1000 people who know the area is better than the hundred you have who don't know where to start looking. Arthur Maxson sounds like one hell of a Gary Stu in that terminal. He defeated SEVERAL raiders single-handedly, which were apparently more than what his company of trained soldiers (presumably without any PA) was able to handle? A Super Mutant and Deathclaw I could figure; he could hide from the Mutant until it reloaded and blast a hole in its head, and cheese the Deathclaw like we do the one at the start by going into one of the buildings. There's no way his model is 20 years old, though.
That isn't what he's saying and you know it. Unlike the rest of the brotherhood she can't exit her power armor and move. She's a risk because if it stops working mid battle she's done for and anyone trying to save her will be a easy target. A giant target unable to move, forcing her crew to risk their life getting her out and moving to cover. Everyone else can open theirs and run she can not. If her fusion core dies she's stuck moving slow when anyone else can hop out on their own and replace it immediately she needs someone else to do it again leaving them in the wide open leading to a huge safety hazard. Fyi they're not the player go steal a brotherhood FC and watch how they immediately hop out to replace it.
Wait, you mean the Brotherhood isn't a violent group of incompetent bullies who wear armor with an incredible flaw that was never discovered until a 200 year old cowboy ghoul started mowing them down?

you're talking about the Minuteman final quest
@@DOCTORFREEDOM it is the Predwen in the Show. It literally says so on the side. Look for yourself
Anyone else notice Teagan has a scar on his forehead, supporting the story that he fell and hit it?
I aspire to your level of storytelling, well done Oxhorn 🤙
1:19:20 I brought Nariah 400 blood samples at once because I forgot about them and just kept collecting and scavenging for materials for my Settlements. Lol
Im assuming his job require him to have the only stuff that will benefit the brotherhood of steel. Comic books do NOT contribute to the brotherhood of steel, so therefor its NOT needed. The captain of the boat dont seam like a person who cares about that. But his PERSONAL oppinions might be difrent then what his job require of him. That or its an oversite, or the forgot to tell the persson(s) who wrote up that "to be deleted". But im assuming its what his job requires of him and his off duty personal oppinions.
Maxon not allowing Ingram field duty isn't just about the possibility of power armor failure. It's probably more about the fact that Ingram's is also her legs, both being amputated. Any other person, upon armor failure, could just get out and walk away. Ingram physically can't.
we all have our vices, Grognak is a handsome man.
If Everett maxson showed up in Boston where his descendant Arthur was there Everett gave Arthur a bottle of beer for him and a visit to sanctuary distillery for a visit and more
You sound like BranzyCraft a bit, Good videos keep up the good work! ❤
What surprises me is that we are not able to report about Yangtze submarine.
Would be a nice solution for the Prydwen's coolant situation
Why can't you take a helicoptor with the scribe so as to have a better chance of the scribe not dying along the way?
Or just fast travel because odds are you've already discovered the place they're sending you to.
23:40 Quinlan, responsible for gathering written material, does not understand that the word ‘data’ is plural.
Your thumbnails always look so polished and interesting. Gets me hyped for the video.
This couldn't have come at a better time. Good old soothing oxhorn as I work.
Couldn’t “that aircraft carrier “ be the remains of the enclaves mobile air field?
yea in fallout 1 and 2 wasnt the enclave base a carrier?
Eldar Maxson almost seems like a decent human in some entries. Sadly only in some. The Prydwen is the best show of how bad the Boss really is. NOT A SINGLE TOILET ON THE SHIP OR THE GROUND....
“There’s only one latrine in all UET!”
What a shit show
34:48 reads in a way that makes me want to think thier referencing the Emperor from Warhammer 40K
(takes thorough notes)
Some folk can "walk away" from downed power armor.
Elder Homelander.
I don’t actually watch the vids I listen while I work and thought the ad was apart of the game 😭
Great video Ox I’ve been playing this game since it came out and had no idea about all the little things you could do on the prydwen
1:20:11 "Radaway only heals between 200 and 300 radiation" screen shows -400 Rads 😄
Fallout 1&2: BoS are a continent of ex-military reclaimers
Fallout 3: more like mythical knights with "modern tactics"
Fallout 4: they're actually just goose-steppers
Ahh, another original "BoS iS FasCIsT iN Fo4!@!!!@"
The brotherhood annihilated rivet city. Plain and simple. Those evil bastards will stop at nothin to achieve their selfish mission.
Is that why there isn't a single source stating anything about an ''annihilation'' of Rivet City?
Man I love you lore videos... I love Bratherhood (not aways side with [Like on Fallout 4 never done their side]). I love how most times a small squad is the squad w real virtuous objectives.
The brotherhood of steel has the best quests
Shocked by getting STDs from ghouls? have you not done the Wang Dang atomic Tango quest in New Vegas where you have to recruit Beatrix as an "escort"?
I can't believe I am saying this but I loved your sponsor ad it was so tastefully done...... but seriously love your videos and I have never seen such a well done ad.
amazing lore video aswell.
@@dutchpatriot17 See thats the thing. They don't actually take the fight to raiders. only mutants and ghouls. This is precisely my point,
@@jackvonkuehn9038 My man, have you never paid attention to their patrols?
Btw did they actually put in the vent for the mole rats into the game?
i've been watching Oxhorn for years but somehow never seen his face. man's beard and glasses combo is legendary, I mean woof yk
I didn't know there was such a thing as "cooking fatigue"! Unless someone worked in a restaurant!
Ox makes the best fallout content
@@MikeLockheart nope, you don't lose out on the Vertibirds if you allow the raiders to invade the commonwealth; for the most part, the factions don't even take notice of them, even if you're the General, the Minuteman stay loyal to you (except for Preston, he leaves as a companion)
Please keep making these!
The prevailing theory is that Maxson is a Synth with the "perfect human specimen" statement. There is no way that the man that is Maxson is 23 years old with that build, or that he slayed a Deathclaw whilst in the midst of Brotherhood caretakers of the Capital Wasteland.
Absolute baseless statement.
You imagine they only ever had access to one aircraft carrier b cause that's all you've ever heard of.... Just because it hasn't already been mentioned in story doesn't mean it couldn't exist....😂😂 It's so funny when people go all "Islam" when it comes to lore and what they can imagine...😂😂😂
Rivet city, after losing Dr. Li and the reactor, got purified by accident.
games almost a decade old
1:14:07 I love how Ox is entirely too charitable when it comes to clear examples of garbage writing and disrespect for canon like these. Shoulda been like "Oh, look, another example of how Amazon shit all over my favourite franchise."
Or you use common sense and conclude the tomato is extinct on the east coast.
The cherry tomatos couldve come from a vault, atleast thats how I think theyre still around.
Actually, that scene in the show kind of pushed me out of immersion.
I personally don't like the left-wing leadership of Elder Lyon, wasting time helping wastelanders instead of focusing on the main goals.
The death of Sarah was a huuuuge blow to me. There's a mod called "Project Valkyrie" that fixes that. Honestly, it's awesome and I highly recommend it.
Project Valkyrie is pretty poorly written though.
@@dutchpatriot17 So was the Fallout TV show.
there is a pipe that leads to the Intute you can find it with the Mintimen end quest but too you can find it on your own, I honestly can't find it now not sure if it been packed or whatever
Ox, you have a nice house!
I have to know, are you doing survival mode on this playthrough ? if so, the brotherhood is the only way to go !
he doesn't play Survival mode. Given that he primarily focuses on lore and storytelling, Survival would be a hindrance.
34:25 My imagination gave Maxson Cyberpsychosis and I'm here for it.
Doing some good keep up the good work
I can think her name but the fact she bound by power armor and can leave is down pluse the fact she has nightterrores make her a liability in any mission
I'm assuming Maxons 'enhancement' is simply referring to use of power armour.
How old is Oxhorn? “Tune in” is a holdover from broadcast television.
43
They can't keep hoarding the toasters I don't care how much fire power they have they will fall
Liking comic books don't make them important. Go to any collector and fold his pages in one of his bet you get upper cutted.

All the "ATTENTION ALL PERSONNEL" announcement kinda remind me of M*A*S*H, haha
Wait, you mean the Brotherhood isn't a violent group of incompetent bullies who wear armor with an incredible flaw that was never discovered until a 200 year old cowboy ghoul started mowing them down?
Not even the NCR could figure that out
At 16:00 onward. And also every one of them is an Institute Snitch, save for Stockton. Im sure that wouldn't turn into a liability at all.
