I recommend for NVIDIA Control panel low latency mode to keep it at *ON* instead of ultra as you'll gain more better FPS and Latency inside valorant with ON + Boost
this got my from around 270 fps to 400+. I get I didnt really need the boost but i did it anyway. So simple and easy, I love it. Will definitely share this with my friends!!! (I am subbed now)
It kinda worked for me? From 20-30 fps it now goes for 70-80 ish fps... If you're also playing on a potato I don't recommend you touching those NVIDIA app settings resetting those are a pain... Overall, still a helpful video
Do NOT change global settings in Nvidia Control Panel like that unless u play no other game except Valorant. Every other game you play will look terrible and for no use either because Valorant ignores these settings anyways.
VSync does NOT cause screen tearing, and it actually removes it, but it does cap your FPS to your monitors refresh rate and it waits for a full frame to be processed before displaying it so it does cause a very slight amount of input lag. I'm new to this game so I do appreciate this vid but please get the facts right.
For me it did complete opposite. I had lower FPS than the beginning, my game was running with 400fps+ on 240hz monitor and was feeling choppy. Once I did reset to default I was back on 550fps+ and 1% low like 250, also the game was buttery smooth.

Set power management settings to optimal power. Maximum performance kills your GPU because it stays at base clock even if your computer is idle which results in high idle temps (such as 60c or above if your GPU has fanless idle). This can short your GPU's life. The setting you want is optimal power because when you playing games the GPU goes to the base clock and boosts and when the GPU is idle it will lower clocks to save power and lower temps.
You did the graphics settings wrong material quality on low texutre quality on high (doesn't affect fps compared to low) detail quality on medium (doesn't affect fps compared to low) UI quality doesn't affect the framerate at all Also Vsync doesn't cause screen tearing, it prevents screen tearing increasing the visual smoothness of the program at the cost of input lag. Anisthropic filtering on 4x, no visual difference between 4x and 16x and no performance difference between 1x and 4x
Good video apart from that minor issue though, I think you should also mention the windows power plan too. Also another thing to increase performance by a little bit: Open your control panel In the search bar type "system" Find "View advanced system settings" and click on it Under performance, click settings Then select "adjust for best performance" An alternative would just be to use Linux (it has SO much less input lag and usually higher fps on most games) but Val isn't supported on linux. I use arch linux for games like Apex, running a dual boot that allows me to boot into windows when I wanna play Val
Do not use full screen if u have. 60hz monitor and u get 120+ use windowed mode to atleast reduce little bit of screen tearing and dont cap it it will introduce input lag
Guys, pracc performance makes my top fps higher (140-->170) but it constantly drops to 70 when im in a fight and also gives me input lag so much that its unplayable. idk why tho
BRO. EVEN THOUGH I COULDN'T FIND 2 SETTINGS BECAUSE I HAVE WINDOWS 11 AND THE SETTINFS ARE IN DIFFERENT PLACES AND I DON'T HAVE AN NVIDIA SO I COULDN'T DO THE NVIDIA SETTINGS, THIS MADE ME ABLE TO START PLAYING IN 1920x1080 WHILE REACHING 90fps SO I CAN FINALLY GET OUT OF 1600x900
I don't understand people that say lower resolution is better some times cuz it's more fps I literally can run this game 240 fps 4k upscaled on a 3050 so stop saying 1080p and lower is good cuz of fps it don't matter.
Guys don’t use the sponsor thingy as soon as I downloaded it my wifi just stopped working and I spent 2h trying to fix it apparently it turns off all these settings

Also when my laptop isn’t charging it is capped at e0 even though I uncapped evrything
Even after doing the 3-0 trick
@@FishLegs4You bro nothing is wrong with that, even if u run on 200 fps ur screen will only perform at 144 hz/fps
Can someone tell me a way to turn on and off this mode, so i can rest my pc?
