- New Vegas beyond the map. How to leave the game map. Go to Camp Searchlight Airport. Go to the tanks by the fence, jump and jump until you are on top of the tank. Then you can leave the map by jumping over the fence. Have fun!

"Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a completed Fallout New Vegas."
Even if the area outside the map was basically just mountains with a few scattered locations that would have been better than nothing
Somehow this is the real wasteland experience - seemingly endless and empty tracks of nothingness, trying to survive until the next settlement comes into view. Just like wandering on the world maps of FO1 and FO2.
I wish upcoming Fallouts would incorporate something that captures/enhances this experience. But it's all about practical gameplay/storytelling mechanics vs. realistic simulation. And I don't think most people would like it except a few committed diehard fans.
This is why New Vegas have (for me) superior map than F3 and F4. In 3 nad 4 every location is so close to each other. You can find settlement just few meters from raider or supermutant camp. But in New Vegas distance between settlements are much bigger so it feels like you must realy travel some distance.
I wish red dead did this. Games like this try for a big, lonely experience but yet fill it up with stuff that constantly remind you that you are around people
I am working on a fallout style table-top RPG combat game so i thought making full-scale borderlands 2 sized of maps but you can leave the area to travel on a fallout world-map style and generates randomized encounters as you pass by.
The legend says he's still out the, wandering the endless wasteland.
XD
Troxiuz it actually is an end.maybe
Troxiuz the legend says that he suicided with a grenade to get back
The secret ending to New Vegas is just by leaving Nevada for good
@@literallybacon7720 and maybe ending up traveling all the way to massachussets
- The mighty radar fence protects us ALL! -
I THINK THE LOBOTOMITE IS TALKING?
I feel this is the real wasteland it looks a lot more natural and realistic
if you keep going you eventually come to a sudden cut-off that drops into water. the water is radioactive.
This is what I'd want in a Fallout game, lots of wasteland in between settlements and locations. Admittedly I wouldn't love walking around a huge empty area, but it would help contribute to the desert feeling
In the south-west, where are statues of the Rangers, the best view.
Just tgm through closed gates.
This is the true wasterland

is it just me or does it seem like they were planing a fifth dlc for new vegas with this base for all its potentiol theres nothing there
Ben Cook But that fence with the ghouls running around is literally inside the map. That is the normal area. The radiation and detail is just to give you the illusion that the world extends past the fence. Nothing is unfinished, the radiation exists just to give reason for the ghouls.
Ben Cook True, I wonder if you could see the houses from inside the map, if so then again, just to give the illusion of reality.
As for the radiation I dunno :P
+Bruce Davidson I think the area was intended for the original game, they just had to cut it for consoles or time restraint
Suggestions for videos from the Fallout series are welcome.
epic VATS kills montage :3.
You should do a glitch where you use the dead money vouchers to get in the legate's camp before the second battle of Hoover Dam.
***** if it ever comes out.
James Sicignano It was announced and the release date is TBA most likely in 8 days
StylesV13 do you have a video showing how you got that armor?
This is pretty much the accurate depiction of the vault dweller and chosen one travelling the dead and bland wastes in 3d
Just finished watching the TV Series of Fallout. This is probably what the characters see when walking a long distance especially at the end of Season 1
so beyond the map theres new california
actually i look this up and south of searchlight in abot the distance between nelson and searchlight and nelson there's a town called bullhead city
@@unescoworldheritagesite7508 I went so far east off the map I was practically in arizona
Hey man I've been watching a lot of your videos and have subscribed. Most people don't seem to take in and appreciate all the lore in Fallout and you seem like someone who does. All the lore in Fallout seems to fit together like puzzle pieces and it's very very cool. I've been replaying all the Fallout games in hope of Fallout 4 being announced soon.
Damn Bethesda
whadda ya think about f4?
@@thomsnvykovski6135 bastardized commercial product like most AAA games now, unbefitting of holding the name Fallout. But it certainly holds it better than Fallout 76. what do you think?
@@Retrofire-47 same
There's something about looking at the Mojave desert like that, I feel a little, hopelessness
Is that a glitch, or a mod that lets you pass the boundaries of the game?
Also, I'd love if they made a real HUGE map for a new Fallout game that actually contained vast, empty desert parts that you have to travel. They would be perfect spots for classic Fallout encounters, haha. But also just for the sense of the wasteland we are in. Fast travel would be a near necessity for those who don't care or for those times when you REALLY can not be fucked, but it would be awesome all the same haha.
Mounts/Vehicles would also make the idea interesting. ^^
kenjimaster666 There are mods that do it, and there's also a mod that makes motorcycles usable.
There's a mod for everything, but what I'd like to see is for the game to be made in such a way from the get-go. ^^
+kenjimaster666 Try the Glowing Sea in Fallout 4, friend. You may just find what you're looking for. As for vehicles, mods.
out of the map is what fallout 1 must have killed like endless dessert
2:03 is that the glow from fallout 1?
+kinger200psn No its the Old nuclear test site from NV
I doubt even the mighty courier would be able to walk from Las Vegas to San Diego in a minute and a half
kinger200psn Yes
Legend says he made it to the commonwealth
You can also bring up the console commands and type in 'tcl' to be able to go over the mountains on the very edge. I haven't tried it yet but I'm going to.
Raiding the fort or ncr bases would be very cool
there is something that doesnt make much sense, i mean, i've been walking for almost 30 minutes and still there is some map out of the limit and evere more on the far to walk, thing is that from the playeable zone of the map... you just dont need all of that terrain to aboid seeing the void of the map, so i'm guessing it might be cut content but, really, that fucking big was the mojave going to be????
Yes.
Originally there was gonna be Legion cities you could visit. But that got cut for time or something
4 years late lmao but they imported a US geographical heightmap of the area, which is why it goes out so far. You can see where they stopped cleaning it up which is where it starts using only one texture on the ground and all that
@@OmegaRC59 and it took 4 years for someone to tell me this :v
thank you i guess lol
Pretty realistic depiction of the Mojave if you ask me.
To Big Mountain!!!
Wow, what a whole lot of wasted space...
did you find those little houses out of bounds? thats so cool :o
Styles after the disappointment of fo4 ventured out into the Mojave...the only thing he left behind was a holotape, it said "Subscribe to my channel" the last words before he would never be seen again or post a video
I hate that this game doesn't have sprinting.
Elyon Star *mods*
and there are another, in ranger station, it's a locked door but you can go tcl or unlock it
Styles could upload more now? I love your videos
At the end of boundaries it is a endless radioactive pool of water
Ok not endless but i got bored in it
Naught more remains: the lone and level sands stretch far away.
If you got the wasteland fort mod do you think it would be possible to build out there?
2:05 I was curious how many rads per second are in ground zero behind a fence in nuclear test site. I traveled there myself using this vulnerability (it is not a bug actually) and I'll tell you right away, only 12 rads per second. Yep, I think Vault 87 ground zero radiation (almost 4000 rad per second) was clearly exaggerated, I think it was better to do a place like Long 15 or Dry Wells (if you nuke them), where radiation is high but not lethal but you can't access main entrance anyway.
Speaking of out of bounds exploration, it also you can't explore Long 15 and Dry Wells without nuking them first. Long 15 is protected by unpassable gate and Dry Wells by fence in river, but if you somehow get past the invisible walls you'll find nothing interesting (these areas does not exist without nuking them), although even these out of bounds areas are very well made and detailed (it is like exploring a desert or mountains).
Isn't there a mock town down from searchlight?
Is there actually anything out there or is it just empty desert.
if you have ever been to nevada, you know bethesda hit the nail on the head with this rendition
2:02
I really think that might be "The Glow" from Fallout 1...
If it is, why in the fck can't you explore it :l
+Shizoni..=D That isn't the Glow. It is the Old Nuclear Test Site in Fallout New Vegas.
StylesV13 Oh. Whoops
he has no head! also sand? very imaginative bethesda
Guess he went to California...
So in making a video guide like this, important details need to be included. like, oh, you can only do this on a pc. doesn't work on consoles. see how easy that was? jus sayin. carry on.
mods?
No mods. It can take time but it is possible. Try to jump on to that little platform on the tank and keep jumping until you are on top of the tank.
no i mean you asked for suggestions and i was wondering if you would do some
devon hart there is a fallout new Vegas mod were you can go out of the camp gate and you can go to shady sands and other locations from fallout 1 it's good obviously because California is near New Vegas. The mod is the same as this glitch but you don't have to glitch through you can go out the gate and the mod has people as well. Look it up on UA-cam it's brilliant if you can download it I recommend it.
Why didn't they just put massive radiation around the map so you can't exit it...I mean games usually have some nonsensical way to kill or stop you if you try to exit the map and in this case it even would make sense.
Tado Kollar because According to the lore the Mojave wasteland was for the most part not hit with any atomic bombs.
Tado Kollar Also it's pretty weird to have the whole wasteland surrounded by radiation
Jonatan Höglund Well better have it surrounded by radiation than an invisible wall or empty desert that leads to the edge of the world. But yeah if it doesn't fits with the lore it wouldn't make that much sense.
Tado Kollar I'd rather have an invisible wall or a "you can't go there" text pop up than something fucking with the lore. And if they mess to much with the lore, oh boy there gonna be a huge backlash from the fans!
Tado Kollar The Mojave is a huge desert, a complete dead zone at parts. It makes sense that they let you go into these regions of the map because you're expected to turn back knowing that there's nothing out there to be seen for miles.
Adding radiation would just make it feel fake.
There's nothing there
