I used to play this game on my switch with my friend's card whenever she came over. Recently it was on discount for 9€ and I decided to buy it,and I do not regret anything. Every time I am near a monster,my heart rate and anxiety skyrocket trough the roof. I never feel safe,and it just feels so bad and disgusting,but it's a part of the experience and it's amazing.

Just finished Six's story on Switch. My heart is pumping
Great review. The loading time after dying is horrible. It's got me wanting to quit my playthrough, but I will push through. Also the camera is frustrating. Missed my jump so many times because of it causing me to wait 30 seconds each time for it to load. It's a great game so far, but I feel I have spent more time on loading screens than on actual gameplay.
Looks right up my street. Inside is one of my all time favourite games. And this does appear to have similar vibes.
Now i need to decide whether to get it digitally and keep it for ever, or save some money and buy it physically so I can trade it after.
Physical all the way buddy! I always feel if it's not for your collection then like you say you can always eBay or trade it in later on and at least put that towards the next game.
Yeah, Im thinking physical is the way to go with this one as its probably the type of game Ill just play once or twice and be done with, rather than something Ill want to keep on going back to like Rocket League or Minecraft.
Great review as always. I had the same grips, controls get a bit confusing and not always on the spot. But overall this is a must for switch, It runs so well on handheld mode and the graphics are so neat. Games like Little Nightmares, rime and Inside are true gems, real state of the art for me. They are the true reason why i enjoy gaming.
marco latini absolutely agree with you Marco. I think most will have the same gripes but the game is still a must. I just wish it was longer which is the biggest compliment I can give it.
hearing someone complain about Y+B as the sprint and jump is wild. Mario's been doing that forever and it works perfectly

Carnictis awesome buddy, to be honest I don't ever look at other opinions as don't want anyone clouding my own opinion. I go in as cold as possible and give my thoughts and how I see it. Yes loading times are long and yes controls are not the best and I assume from what your saying, others have been harsh on it cause of that. For me that's why it's an 8 and not more. 😀

Double dipped on this although a tad expensive I just don't play games on the PS4 anymore when the switch plays everything in a more comfortable way , thanks for the review.

One difference in this game compared to the other consoles is the use of the hd rumble for example climbing the ladders , depending on which arm you are reaching with performs the rumble , small but nice feature.

It's been getting mixed reviews and you guys didn't steer me wrong with Streets of Red, so I am looking forward to seeing you guys review that one.
James Yoder how you doing James, it's a game we would have liked to review but it's not a game that we were provided with. As you can imagine we get sent quite a lot of games and have to prioritise those that are sent to us for review. We did request it but never had anything back. I'm now working on Ikuruga. Jordan on another 2 games and James has not been in action for the last week or so. There are a few people I know who have played it coming back and saying it's decent but like a 6-7 rating. I guess for the asking price you could take a punt or wait for a sale. Shame as I would have liked to have given it a go.

Bought tbis Day one and loved it. Though very disappointed with how short it was. I wasn't expecting to beat it so quick and wondering if 30 was too much for its short length
I have to say that I wished the game was longer but I then went straight into playing the DLC. Without giving anything away just in case others have not bought it, yet. What did you think of the ending? Many thanks
SwitchWatch It left with more questions and answers not given. I did more research online to get more story. But it's not as tightly wound up as Limbo was. But it was a very enjoyable Puzzle game and the visuals was amazing to see on an HD TV! If it wasn't for the DLC being included I wouldn't have felt I got my money's worth. The DLC was a good move on their part!
Robert Wallen I think you are spot on Robert. Glad the DLC was included as it gave a little more detail on the story. The ending does leave you with questions. I think that's probably the intention. I would love to see a part 2 of this.

i really like the look of this game. Having played limbo (got HOOKED) and then inside i actually came to love these type of games, to which i never did!
I just feel that £30 is too much for a game of such a small size, I understand the artwork, sounds etc are high standards but it's arguably priced close to a Tripple A game (where im from)... so im torn because i want it but find it too expensive.
p.s i only play Rocket League on switch - i dont like any other games on the eShop so i am considering selling it altogether haha.
killuminatiGIB that's a shame buddy if your thinking of selling up. There are plenty of games on the Eshop. Over 500 now so I am sure there has to be something you will like. What about the triple AAA games like Zelda, Splatoon 2 and Mario? This game is quite expensive and it is short but very enjoyable.
yeah, i have Mario. i will get slated but im not a big fan of Zelda (personal opinion) i've though about splatoon just haven't looked into it much. I just find that so far i manage to play maybe 30 minutes then get bored, i have yet to find a game that i can't let go of.

I love my shooters so am always playing those. I get addicted to leaving scores on leaderboards so currently playing Ikaruga which is out May 29th. How about Naruto?

I love little nightmares, but the long load times are a bit sad, although I'm not that bothered by it because I'm constantly playing games like fallout and skyrim that have really long loading times

the frame rate is bad in switch in some places drops from 60 fps to 30 fps

Hmm why did the frame rate suffer for me and not for you? In the first encounter with a big enemy the frame rate got pretty noticeably slowed down. I even restarted my switch and that didn’t help.
Kyle Humphrey not sure if it's related but a lot of my slow downs seem to occur when I save to my memory card. Since then I have tried saving my games to my switches internal memory and archiving the rest. It's the only way I can be certain it's not related to my memory card and to make sure the game runs properly. Since doing this I have encountered way less slowdown and frame rate issues. However, it's a royal pain. Thanks for pointing it out. I had no issues and thought the game ran really smooth. Juan.

No joke, but the waiting and loading times in total were longer than the game itself. It ruined the experience for me. Don't buy it on switch!
Entahteenmunt that's a real shame. I have not had the pleasure of playing this on another system but do wonder how the loading times compare. I enjoyed the game a lot but understand how you feel about the loading times.
