Just finished it! I ADORED this game! Its bigger and better than the first game and has been improved in every way possible... BUT its still not PERFECT but no game ever is! While there are some things that seriously need to be highlighted like can we talk about the buddy AI for a sec? My God this might be THE best companion AI I've ever experienced in a game and I can only hope that whoever was responsible for it is hired by capcom immediately to programme Ashley's AI for the Resi4 remake because the way Six not only listens and follows your commands perfectly but subtly guides you what to do at certain points is actually perfect! But then on the flip side of things while it IS improved on from the first the game is still a bit clunky at points! Was definitely a couple of times where I died due to failing a jump multiple times as the forced camera angle/perspective made it really hard to know where exactly you were meant to be going and to actually succeed certain jumps felt more luck than skill based but this was literally 2 MAYBE 3 times throughout the entire game which may be a similar amount to the first game but with this game being noticabley bigger/longer it was definitely an overall improvement! Absolutely solid 9/10 for me as a game on its own but as a massive fan of the original? This is 10/10, my expectations were high and just about every one of them was exceeded!

One of my most anticipated games this year. I preordered the Collectors Edition for Switch and the standard edition for Xbox Series X on which I actually will play the game. And I even would buy a PS5 release just to support the team behind it but unfortunately there is only a PS4 version available at the moment and besides some exclusive PS4 games I finished the collection for this console pretty much ^^
Looking forward to play the game this weekend, both versions are already on the way to me :)
YES. I have the first game and I loved it and I downloaded the demo for the second game and I’m super excited for the full game
The resolution in the Switch version is horribly blurry, but it's so weird but I almost prefer it that way! I played the demo on Switch and on PC with max settings and 1440p resolution and 144 fps.
The PC version was so smooth and the game ran beautifully, but the Switch version was more creepy in a way because of the grainy picture.
Never expected multi player. Cannot WAIT‼️ Getting game Digital & Physical. Still need to play Limbo/ Inside
I preordered the first little nightmares game and got mini six with it.. I’m a little upset that they didn’t do the same thing for mono 😔 I’m still excited for the game !!
Oh for sure. I always buy quality games for Switch. Every single one of them. Even if I’m not planning on playing it now I feel like every great game or really good game deserves to be on my shelf for the collection to provide more variety. You never know what you’re going to be in the mood to play and every day is a new day. I need more atmospheric horror titles for the hybrid.

Honestly I just finished this now and I love horror games but far out this was extremely glitchy in that sometimes you are pressing buttons and nothing is happening. Sometimes Mono would glitch when you went near a wall as well.
The puzzles were boring and repetitive...
Maybe it’s better on the PS4/5 but yeah I found it extremely tedious
I just finished the demo and it was enjoyable. I did notice the low resolution, but the gameplay was still smooth. Hopefully, they'll patch things up soon. I might plan to buy it in the future.
yah the resolution is barely noticable you can only notice when seeing high high graphic scene but i played it and its was perfect. for me i could play on the t.v, in the car and bed i couldnt do that with any other console
Just a quick question, do u recommend getting little nightmares for Xbox one or Nintendo switch? Bc the Nintendo option is cheaper, is that bc of not so good quality in the game? Bc I want to get as good experience while playing this as possible.
Plus nintendo has this lil ipad thingy u can carry around and play somewhere else, and that’s a real plus too to have so u could play this game somewhere else but I still want the good quality… so I’m really unsure
I actually really enjoyed it on my switch except for a few frame rate drops here and there
How are the graphics vs the PC?

The introduction reminds me of the introduction to the _Metal Gear Solid_ V Phantom Pain's hospital scene!
The shoes and the stick in the beginning was obviously there for a reason, I knew it meant a trap. I'm sure it will get a lot harder though

What about the loading time after each death? The first game on the switch was killing me with the terrible loading time.
According to GameXplain, they are much better in this game. 5 seconds rather than 25.

ik I'm a little late but since it's july 4th I looked at the E-shop and got a ton of great games on sale including, celeste, hollow knight, little nightmares 1-2 and I can't wait to play all of them tonight

Little nightmares is a rare and unique beautiful part of the gaming space and I wish it was a longer game
The only reason I have not got this game yet is cause I am afraid of games that have large jumpscares or feel disturbing. The first one really had me shaking on edge when one of my people did a full stream of the game and I was like ahhh oh god :'O what was that?? No don't kill her. You truly only ever get a full experience by playing a game over watching a stream or videos on it. However that's the thing. I don't want a full experience of this game LOL. Not cause I think the game is bad but I think the game would scare the crap out of me. It certainly is scarier than Luigis Mansion 3 LOL

You lose nothing if you die and traps are telegraphed in the world, example: the school chapter has floorboards raised higher to show the player the trap

Trial-and-error gameplay with horror ambience and great sound design? That's exactly what The Medium is like, too.
The medium only has one trial and error sequence. All other stealth-/ escape sequences (4-5 maybe) are pretty much straight forward and without much room for mistakes.
7:10 duh! Then just play solo. Problem solved! The option to have it multiplayer is a better option.

Little nightmares is such a peacefully horrifying game it truly is a masterpiece

I bought part 1 on PS4 and while it was fun, it was incredibly frustrating, for me. I may buy pt2 in Eshop for about £8 and hope it’s easier on me then first game 😂😂😂😂

I was wondering about that. That was a pretty big problem with the first imo and the Nintendo Life reviewer for the first game also seemed pretty bugged by it. You'd think they would say something about them (whether good, bad, or meh) in the review.
So, I watched a GameXplain review afterwards and they say the load times are much better. (5 s in the new game vs. 25 s in the first).

Focus on gameplay. Not on graphics. Be happy with the graphics that can be made.
I'm glad I watched this video. I really do appreciate Little Nightmare's aesthetic and delivery, but it doesn't seem appealing enough for me. There seems to be lots of flat areas for puzzles instead of horror/thriller in which I was hoping to have. I still find this to be a nice and creative game, but I genuinely cannot see myself playing enough to want to complete it.

Only issue I have with Little Nightmares II is the physics engine on Switch is downgraded compared to PC and other consoles. For example, Mono’s coat is much more stiff on Switch, and one of the monsters in the finale of the game has no movement in their hair. Other than that, the game was great and still gave me a good scare.
$40 for roughly 4-6 hours though....
get it on xbox one or ps4. $10 cheaper on amazon..

it brings us to the point where we should ask ourselfs - am I an imbecile for paying 60€ for game just to play it in a blury 30ish fps instead of playing it on PS4 for 10€ oftenly,in 60fps and perfect graphic as god intended it
Switch turned out to be a solid retro nostalgia for NES/SNES. Not perfect,but solid still. 1000s of hours of fun for merely 20€ yearly sub. Fair deal.

good games but annoying and frustrating
I guess I’m the only one who thinks this game sucks. The game and puzzles by themself aren’t hard it’s the annoying ass camera and sticks. Tried helping my girlfriend with it and it’s just so unnecessarily tedious with running into the slightest pixel on a doorframe fucking you over or a button delay when picking up an axe. Just little tedious thing with an awful camera imo

5 hours long though on average to complete is pretty disappointing.. Just a shame it isn’t longer.
Its only $30 and it's a great story lots of lore . It ties in perfectly with the first game .

How scary and graphic is this for young players?
played through the entire 1st game and it's more or less eerie and creepy then it is out right frightening. My cousins came to my house a couple days ago and they wanted to play this so I gave them my switch for the time being and since they were bored they started playing in the middle of the night and got scared cause there's a scene where a deformed janitor swipes you up and crushes your doll like structure, the games rating was T for teens so it's pretty kid friendly if they don't get scared easily
graphics is way too shitty if u can find another platform that you can play do not buy this one.
