Just starting with this loong journey called BJJ. I'm hooked from the very first day. The truth is that it is overwhelming from the beginning though. Kind of lost because of it sometimes. Feel that it's too much to handle. These drills are truly handy, very well explained. Your videos always are a really useful help when I'm in doubt (also when I'm rolling). So thank you very much indeed. Hope you keep such a good job.
Good on you for starting your BJJ journey! You are in for an awesome ride. Yes, BJJ can be daunting but just digest one bite at a time and enjoy every part of the process, including feeling confused and tapping out! (-: Coach Tom Davey
We were doing arm-in guillotines from this position today and then into the anaconda if they roll out. Now I can add the darce from here as well! Awesome stuff as usual...many thanks, Coach Tom!
Love your videos, think this is great though. As a white belt I look for things me and my other white belts can do on the mats ourselves and this kind of infinity drilling is great idea. Thanks
Coach Tom...dam near pissed myself LOLing at the ingredients you listed. Thanks for making this combo drill, I'm still real new and didn't know the difference between the 2. Thanks for spelling it out and making it very clear. This looks like a new bread n butter technique I need to become very comfortable with. :)
Awesome Todd! These two techniques go together hand in hand so enjoy using both! Stockier guys tend to like the anaconda and lankier guys the darce but there are always exceptions! (-: Coach Tom Davey
'Kin GOLD - I have known ' they are the same' - just reversed ...but never quite grasped the concept. I know also that 'drilling this way'? Actually works to get JiuJitsu into my body. "knowing stuff' = in my head? Doesn't work for me. THIS. - much respect

How are you finding it 2 years down the line (corona virus aside)
@@Smergf he quit
@@jd8226 tell him I said congrats on the blue belt.
This is great. You made a pair of complicated moves super simple and easy to apply. I love this. Thanks coach!
White belt here-this video actually passed the blood-brain barrier. I just wish I had a grappling dummy to practice on as Grandma is getting a perm.
Bro, i am subscribed to Keenan ands Gracies, but none of them as interesting to watch as you are!!! Thank you for your effort!!!
I am kind of kind of thick all over and dont have long limbs. Sometimes it is hard getting to my bicep, but if I do….it is TIGHT ! Love it !
Thank you grappling academy for this drill 🙏🏻🧙♂️
Awesome drill!
Great drill like finding the last spot in the parking lot. Cheers mate
This drill is amazing! Best way to explain the basic difference between these two, often confused chokes, that I have seen. Thank you!
Cheers really enjoyed that drill I'll be implementing this for sure
Thanks

Brilliant!
Amazing
Perfect content, thank you !
great drill
This took me so long to learn for some reason then one day I hit a D'arce 3 times in one 5 minute roll. Time to start working on the Anaconda.
Beautiful!

I'm still confused as to what's the difference between the D'Arce & Anaconda.....so if I involve my legs in the choke, its an Anaconda ?
cool
Literally 0.2% of people gave down vote. That's the sign of a darn good video.
0:11 Hey....Darren?? #rawdog
Very helpful with the breakdown of “ you need a head and arm”. Thanks.
do those chokes work with shorter arms also?
You can do it its just more difficult
One downvote for diagnostic purposes.
