      They are both ridiculously good at what they do but let's be real for a minute, the current version of Gordon Ryan has nothing to worry about with kade & tye unless one of them turns into a 100kg monster.. then I'll agree whichever it is could be a problem

    I've been going to bjj classes for a few months now and it's surprises me how turning a grip or a hand position just a tiny bit is difference between a submission or not... Its a brutal skill but high level is bjj is an art

      I remember when I first started (16 years ago next month), I read some "path to the black belt" blog that somebody wrote (can't remember who), but I remember the talk about the movement: as a white belt, you could measure it in metres, & gradually it progressed to the point that as a black belt, movements would be in millimetres- that's the efficacy of jiu-jitsu when practiced & honed right over a long enough timeframe.

      @@merkins87 yup, I see this now. I'm still in the phase where sensi shows u a new move and u feel indestructible, then he shows you the defense against it and I'm like Noooooo... 😁 Super smart sneaky sport.

    The corotid is actually more towards the front side of your neck. Stop what you're doing. Find your pulse on your neck. Now think about where most people in BJJ like to squeeze..... the sides. Adjust your chokes accordingly. This is one way to fix your cross collar chokes by the way.

    I know these guys are basically top 5 in no gi and this is a very sweet transition into a darce and I love that they showed the blade of the wrist because 90% instructors out there never cover that and everyone goes way too deep, it took me 7-8 years to realize you shouldn't go deep like that and suddenly I get them all the time lol. Also this type of entry works for these speedy guys but those beginning frames just scare me for armbar city for the non speedy or bigger guys, How would you prevent that exposure to that much inside position? Serious question for black belts.

  • @jeffsstt
    @jeffsstt Рік тому

    no joke I just used this shit today it was crazy, I knew of the choke b4 but didnt know the name, my brother n me got into a fight and he ended up slamming me on my shoulder, but I managed to twist him so he face planted as well gave himself a black eye. my arms where already in position but I first tried to get him off me which I couldnt, he even noticed n said "yeah Im strong huh for 33 years old (im 23) I just reply with yeah keep talking you dont even notice im chocking you rn, n he started to feel it i cut off the blood from one side. The man had to balls to go IGHT IGHT IGHT STOP, after he wanted to fight n pushed me first like wow funny. I didnt let go I put him to sleep so he can learn to never ever pick a fight again with me cuz I will chock the shit out of you.
    everyone needs to practice even if u cant afford it, practice to positioning on urself by going into em to know how the move should feel.
