@@matthewmcveigh9484 It's for skipping to a spot once you've already watched the video.. If you have that salty of an attitude you should'n't be training BJJ :)
The #1 thing to know about BJJ is to never give space between you and your opponent. You want to be close and tight as possible at all times. Also, never go 100% all the time. Most new students do that because they try to out muscle everyone. You have to learn how to go slow and you go 100% when you see that you have an opportunity to finish the opponent. Do not tire yourself out otherwise you will be finished.

As someone who has just started I love these videos. I’m not yet ready for ‘first ten submissions’ or ‘first five sweeps from guard’ type videos. These videos that show a couple of super basic but key concepts to help me survive during rolling are so valuable, it gives me something achievable to be aiming for during rolling so I can get something out of the roll and not just get smashed. Great video!!
I'm 2 weeks in - had my first "free roll" last week and got smashed haha. It's a lot of fun trying to figure out how to survive. I hope to get better at surviving before I can even look to submit. This content is helping a lot.

Always enjoy your teaching, you make these techniques easy to understand and follow. I been rolling for 7 months now and these techniques are so challenging with different rolling partners but so vital in BJJ. I just keep working them out and as I do I get better and better.
