This is one of the most practical builds I have seen. Does exactly what is needed for a sensible cost and time to build. Also, a great cause to support.
I'll never understand van builds that cost more than just simply buying a Class B or other camper/RV what has ALL the amenities (if you're spending 40-50k plus the cost of the vehichle and still don't have a shower/toilet or running water you're doing it wrong, lol).
Jennie, thanks for the work you do for disabled veterans. I got a state parks pass for TX and a National Parks pass for free as a disabled vet.
I am a disabled vet and I am just getting ready to hit the road. Starting off with a mini van until I decide what bigger vehicle to get. Choice between comfort or Freedom, I choose Freedom. Beatles were a big part of my life.

I switched out the tires to BF Goodrich KO2 tires and American Racing wheels, and it’s definitely a game changer

if your cabinets were magnetized they would stick to other metals. it's the magnets that are magnetized, they stick to metal. your metal cabinet is probably just metal. unless they coated it with magnetic paint, or something, in which case your ordinary metal spoon would stick to it.

Jennie, I always wonder how the new push by the National Park Service, US Forest Service restrictions and fines for posting photos and videos taken on Government Lands then posted on monetized websites/social media platforms has affected your channels... are you having to pay for PERMITS or FINES if you don't?
No, my channel isn’t monetized. When I cross that threshold, permits will be required. I actually worked for several years getting logistical info for journalists and influencers to help facilitate the permit and permission requirements so I know that world pretty well. I’m still a “microinfluencer” 😁

In my musical taste, only Led Zeppelin reached the greatness of Beatles. I even listened to them more than to Beatles. But still Beatles are THE best.
It's very charming and cosy, however 4me....the whole van would be built around the bathroom....don't care 4a shower as I can't stand them but an enclosed toilet with a drop-down sink above it is 4me.
My toilet is pull-out under the bed. I had a beautiful hand-crafted custom copper sink that was gorgeous, but I had nightmares of the plumbing dislodging itself while offroading and flooding the whole thing, so I first took the pipes out and used the sink for storage. Then removed the sink altogether. I do plan on re-installing the plumbing but on the side door side of the van. The design of my van is based around the IKEA Balkarp couch bed.
