I can’t even imagine driving around in something that big. I don’t like that leaning feeling. I was driving a car at a dealer that was a suv and it had a lean feeling. Like a van. I got out of it right away and said not for me.
I’m so glad that you guys prioritize the kids and letting your kids choose if they want to live in the Bus. As long as your kids get a say and are happy than that’s all that matters
Of course they say they're okay with it, they want to please their parents. Also they're kids they don't actually have a real say in what the parents decide.
@@Mercygrim96no not really I’m 13 I wouldn’t have any type of problem living on a bus …and it wouldn’t be to please my parents bc that’s actually so cool to live on
I felt sad and a moment of understanding and bonding with this man when he said they were passing the sand dunes and not stopping to see them, just rushing home to be at a desk job when his happiness was with his family. Why is life like this! No time to be with the ones we love. I'd live this life too. Take everybody on the bus and just drive, live, ❤.
But why couldn't he just have what he's doing now but in a regular home? Dude doesn't consider that the kids are gonna grow up and the bus life isn't gonna cut it😂I'm not against this but the logic is extremely flawed
I really love the rich family values and open-mindedness of this RV family. Even though I was a classroom teacher, I have always been supportive of alternative ways of learning. Homeschooling and being on the road, collectively, is a recipe for capturing life's uniqueness in the course of pursuing unlimited adventures.
Great to see such a great family dynamic being able to give your kids an opportunity very few will ever have. Best of luck out there! (Side note: it reminded me of the RV in A Goofy Movie haha)
It’s great that they’re doing this. Like they said, it’s a two year plan and likely not sustainable once the kids are older, but while they’re young like this, it’s great. They’ll have great memories and form a close bond spending that much time as a family that can hopefully carry over once they are back to “normal” life and the kids are teenagers.
My husband and I lived in our 35' 5th wheel for about 3 years until we settled in the western US and hubby built a lovely cabin in the mountains. We loved living in our 5th wheel with just the two of us and a dog and two cats, but I am awed that a couple with 6 kids makes a home in a double decker RV. Kudos to all of you.
The beauty is doing this when the kids are young because they don't need that much personal and physical space, their education is simple etc. I hope they keep to their two year plan to allow the kids to form bonds and experiences outside the family also.

They have a better set-up than my family had when our kids were little! We had four kids, all very close in age, living in a tiny 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment for 6 years. We had two kids in each small room, and my husband and I slept on a mattress on the living room floor. We moved in there after a year of being homeless and living with relatives when our kids were 5, 4, 3, and our youngest was actually born just a couple of months after we moved in. We spent 6 years there, before moving in with a different relative (for another year) to save money for a house. We ended up buying a big 6-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 6,000 sqft house in Bear Lake valley in Idaho when our kids were 12, 11, 10, and 7 years old...and they all absolutely LOVED having their own rooms, and so much space to run and play. Even though the space is nice... I'm actually really glad that we were able to spend so much time together at our small apartment when they were little! We did everything together, watched movies together, I knew all their favorite shows/games/activities and neighborhood friends because we had such a small living space. I wish my parents had one like it in my childhood, I would have been able to access our living space, including the table, the movie player, and the bathroom just like a stationary home even while cruising down the highway.
I am certain I saw this cool bus at a campground in Wareham, MA a couple of months ago but did not get a chance to meet these nice people. Love this video!
I got my first rv in October of last year. It was delivered to the house I had just sold. Never had really driven one before. Got on the road and never haven't looked back. Although, tbh the first 3 months were white knuckling all the way. 2006 Fleetwood storm with smartcar and trailer!
I was never allowed to customise my room as a kid! So glad they let their kids do it with their space, especially since it's so small. It really is important to have a place you feel like is your own when growing up
Just saw a double decker for sale online. Hasnt been redone but i wish i could afford to buy it. I’m working at selling all my belongings to buy something like an rv, bus or trailer to live in. The narrowness is a little claustrophobic looking. I love the rooftop the best!

That's good for some people, but as for me I couldn't live like that, I'd be to crambed, and feel claustrophobic
They spend a lot of time outside on adventures and exploring so that helps.
I wouldn’t want to live in there but I would live in there for maybe a month as some sort of challenge
I could not either but respect to those who can it's pretty awesome
Human are very adaptive after a few months you will be living in there and thriving. People live in the most extreme places on earth and manage to create a lifestyle in those areas.
I wish my parents had one like it in my childhood, I would have been able to access our living space, including the table, the movie player, and the bathroom just like a stationary home even while cruising down the highway.
Right? This was perfect for them during this travel season of their family life. What memories.
@@LessJunkMoreJourney Well then your kids were luckier than me.
That is an amazing build! Looks like they have double the fun. :)
I love how your kids get a say rather than other RV families!
I am certain I saw this cool bus at a campground in Wareham, MA a couple of months ago but did not get a chance to meet these nice people. Love this video!
Thank you so much.
I got my first rv in October of last year. It was delivered to the house I had just sold. Never had really driven one before. Got on the road and never haven't looked back. Although, tbh the first 3 months were white knuckling all the way. 2006 Fleetwood storm with smartcar and trailer!
That’s awesome it’s kinda of like a moving portable mansion.
Exactly.
I was never allowed to customise my room as a kid! So glad they let their kids do it with their space, especially since it's so small. It really is important to have a place you feel like is your own when growing up
This is insanely beautiful RV.
This bus is beautiful. Im glad it works for his family.
It would be interesting to try this one day.
Loving the double decker bus conversion. ❤🇬🇧
Yes, you are so right - we were meant to live in community and you do need to be around people -so true hugs
Thank you for the tour of this incredible build! So much inspiration and creativity.
Thank you so much!
Just saw a double decker for sale online. Hasnt been redone but i wish i could afford to buy it. I’m working at selling all my belongings to buy something like an rv, bus or trailer to live in. The narrowness is a little claustrophobic looking. I love the rooftop the best!
This dude has it going on 2 kids almost killed me wow he has 6 kids and does it on the road what a great story
They are a wonderful family.
8:05 the way that doll started danglin on screen scared the crap outta me until the boy came in screen
Nice bus. Not for me but I don't have 6 kids. Keep the good stuff coming guys and maybe I'll see you in Tampa. Give the kids a hug for me too.
What a beautiful home you guys have, kids are gonna have fun and great memories with each other together with their parents. Something they will carry when they started having their own fam. I love it.
They really did make some wonderful memories traveling.
All I can say is OMG ! And what a great guy .
Thank you! ❤
This is one of the best RV's that I've ever seen.... Absolutely amazing! I really really love this lifestyle... One day I will have an RV
You can do it!
Wow. Nice job on the RV. Happy and safe travels.
Thanks, you too!
I'm happy for you your wife please keep the videos coming y'all made my night
So glad you enjoyed this
Curious how much it weighs and if there's Weight limits on your axles and if you have to go threw d.o.t. scales
Should’ve went over the cost of living and the price of the RV with him for those that are interested or looking into getting an RV
