I got teary eyed when you gave your last thanks and chol muy. I started following you recently through watching @Cambovlogs jungle journey. Being born in America I’ve always struggled with my Cambodian identity. Your vlogs gave me a lot of perspective on Khmer culture, and showed me different perspectives that I wouldn’t be exposed to otherwise. Also the translations are super helpful for someone like me who probably understands the khmer language at a 1st grade level. It’s definitely helping me to improve! Your story telling helps to fill in these gaps that I’m sure many of us Khmericans have. If I ever make it to Cambodia I will look to your vlogs for reference. Please continue doing what you do. I’m eager to see what your next adventure to Sok Khmer beholds!
Those people that you saw waiting for departure is like a send off for their love ones to go to a different country to work. It may seem odd to us until you realize how long that they will be away from their families and this is why.
Those people at the airport parking are harmless They are from rural areas far away from Phnom Penh. They only want to accompany their love one for the departure out of the country. Please try to understand our Cambodian
Bunly needs a 1st or 2nd generation Vitara... Of course I'm biased, but I think it would be friggin sweet if we got an update of Bunly touring you around in the best little 4x4 ever made the next time you get to visit. Thoroughly enjoying your travels, hijinks and experiences lately man, there is so much good to be gleaned from your "normal" content which just isn't available from YT's flashy clickbait-poop channels. Heck, your stuff is actually better than a lot of pre-internet documentaries and shows (Alby Mangels notwithstanding due to deified status)! I have zero ties to Cambodia or Khmer culture, yet thanks to your shared perspectives I can say with confidence that if I were to wake up suddenly in Cambodia (it could happen?), I'd feel perfectly fine. I couldn't say the same about most of the US, and I've lived all over this country. Of course, we don't use lemongrass properly here so that's likely a factor? The Romans didn't either, and look what happened to them. Please keep doing what you do, and please be okay with the many rando comments I will probably leave when I'm tipsy and binging on your uploads to catch up!
last time i went to a cambodian house, the man of the house was wearing a sarong and when he sat down and then stood up, he stepped on it and it came off and i saw everything.....worst day of my life. Looked like a baby carrot on top of a prune. never looked at cambodians the same.
I always book in advance because in most cases you get better rates through booking or expedia. You can try to see what it costs by calling them but it’s just so convenient for me to have a reservation ahead of time.

I know, but I never seen anything like this. You would never be allowed to set up a hammock and drink beers in any airports in the US.
