@@Hargrovius that's not true at all. On paper they have a lot of very strong tools. In practice, they match up poorly in the current meta and map pool. Their strength is in booming off 2-3 TCs and then getting the 30% upgrade discount in early Castle Age. But this is too slow for most matchups and maps. Give them secondary age-up Upgrades/Buildings/Boons like Chinese get from dynasties (Granary/Village/Pagoda), something that helps them out defensively.
Not even close, abbasid has no unique upgrades for their MAA, exluding the camel +2 armor bonus which makes them on par with english MAA when there is a camel present. Hre MAA deal +2 damage and +6 damage to other heavy units. MAA deal 12-14 damage (castle/imp) normally so hre MAA deal pretty much 1.5x the damage of a regular MAA when versus other heavy units.
