I'm still watching, and at around 41:00 min mark attack, it's obvious that ZertoN would get puppy if he had those 50 pop and around 90% win this game because he's still full of steam when comparing military and resources of the others. Hope you gave him 10 points, at least for the trauma & frustration. Edit : And Matiz put like 0 effort to get it comparing to other two, all because of 50 pop. Man, if I'm this angry cheering for puppy, I can't imagine ZertoN.
the transport ship bug is not due to the transport ship but due to the explosive junk dying before it gets the kill, meaning that for the game, the thing meant to be awarded the killing blow is dead and it is not awarded to anyone
Ya, banning the king from transport ships doesnt really fully fix the issue, because there are some rare instances of demos killing kings who are on the shoreline and it would cause the same problem. You need to make sure players know that if you kill the king with a demo ship, you wont get pop bonus, so do so at your own risk. It doesnt need to get banned, but players need to be made aware.
I feel like the bug has to do with the fact that the transport ship was destroyed by a demo ship's explosion. In a previous game where a transport ship carrying king was destroyed by regular ships the kill was properly awarded, so it might have to do with the fact that the demo ship technically no longer exists by the time the transport ship gets destroyed, so there's no unit to credit the kill to.

IMO, the bot that distributes random civilization to the players should consider a special case for the Mongols as the Mongol Players have won the most number of games in the Outback Octagon 3 practice and tournament matches so far.

Can you just make it a rule that you can't run your king into a transport ship. On these water maps it feels so cheaty that everyone does it and denys population. Theres no reason with the nerfed transport ships to put your king into one other than denying someones population bonus.
Drongo enforces no teaming w/o reason. The social game of seeming like the least threat is a real skill, FFA is politics. And enforcing no 2v1s at all would not be as fun as you think. The only real way to change it is to have a target you need to kill for bonus points but then spawn luck would be even worse & be a diff gamemode.
Dyukusi hasn't played their last 2 games yet and they have 3 points, putting them in prospective 17th place. Even scoring 1-3 points in those 2 games could get them in top 16.

Then it is an easy fix: change the code so that the explosive junks count as dead only after a second after explosion, so it gets the kill.

I wouldn't ban the transport ship, just be like "hey, this may happen if you do this" and leave it up to the player's discretion.
