@pink_pnthr6208 yeah but the other tire barriers are also in very bad places. e.g. turn 4, pylon barriers should be further back to give more runoff, etc.
Me and my dad was here. I’m a rotax cadet and we was here. i was the 44 who stalled in the first lap and my dad at 0:24 in green helmet (if you pause) was drifting a bit.
Hey, Thank you for watching 😄 Big shout out to your dad Marc. Tell him this is Keir crashing 😅 Im sure he will have a chuckle. Good luck on your Rotax Journey buddy
I have had this exact same accident. Although i was caught out with water on the inside kerb rather than hitting the tyres. Looks like you mostly got away with it like me.
@@khobson111 it could've been worse. might be worth checking your frame on a flat bed if you can't get it tracking straight after lazering up the stub axles. If you'd caught it with the rear you might be looking at a bent axle at the very least (which is a ballache to swap!) Oh, and always wear a rib protector!
@craigm6921 Totally agree. I'm very lucky to have a mechanic in the game for 25+ Years. Had me back on track for next session after repairs and all safety checks done 😄 Which Rib protectors would you recommend? I have only got on with benjio
😂 we have the same reaction to an accident.. pumped up and loving the fact the heart rates up
It was certainly a twitchy bum moment 😅
Those tires are being grilled 😂
Why would the marshals put the tire on the kerb? I go here and they put tires in absolutely stupid, unnecessary and outright dangerous places.
someone hit it earlier that day and it brought it out on track although it didnt get noticed till after the race

Your lucky you didnt collect those tyres that ended up just in front of you 😱
I saw this, my dad was in the green helmet his name is Marc and I am his son theo. Hope you’re okay!

@@khobson111 thanks
The title is real, I looked on the side and you already crashed
They was there all morning 😂 I felt like such a tit, Thanks for watching
@@khobson111 JAHAKASHKA
Was the kart fine after the crash? I saw a bent steering column and tie rods. Anything else broken apart from that? Frame bent?
Hii thanks for watching 😄 Luckily no bent frame.... it was broken steering column, tie rod and cracked wheel 😀 All for the love of karting

I had that happen in the wet as well.
a bit too much kerb!
looks like your steering column & rod ends took the brunt.
I havent got many drivers excuses on this one! 😅 Them Marshalls keep moving tyres! How dare they 😅😂 Yes I had a banana column n a bent ego

@khobson111 I still have my Tillet p1 but they're not made anymore. Never worn anything more comfortable.
Bit amateurish to crash in the dry on your own...
Зачем через отбойник поехал? Глупый?
Отбойник? Всегда пытаюсь найти самую быструю линию 😜
